A Gangster's Melody Reviews

    **Review for Part 1 & 2**

These are books that happened to be free on amazon and I downloaded them months ago, saving for a “rainy day”. Well that “rainy day” came about two days ago. To say the book are good would be an understatement. If I had to sum the first book up it’d be misfortune/struggle -> fairy tale -> SHOCK! I literally was in my bed with my mouth wide open, and couldn’t believe the ending. And I was eager to begin part two, because I couldn’t figure out what the author could come up with to follow-up. Surprisingly, He was able to use the same key characters and introduce us to a few new ones, with some great twist & turns in the story, and end with another bang. I was thoroughly impressed and happy to have found another author to add to my list of “must-reads”.

Sean Wright did that! I just had to start this review before I finished the other book. I didn't know what to expect with the title, I actually thought the book was going to go different direction. I was glad it went this direction though!!

Tiffany is a young girl whose life changed suddenly, in a dramatic way. She lost both of her parents in a tragic way. Now, with no family left in Ohio she has to make a choice if she wants to live in Puerto Rico with her mother's side of the family, or does she want to live in B-More with her father's grandmother..However, she doesn't really know either side.

She chooses B-More and immediately when she gets there her grandmother treats her like S***. Fast forward that drama, she gets a job and meets the Stiletto Divas, who are about playing men and getting all of there money. Tiffany is intrigued by the money, but she doesn't get a chance to adapt that lifestyle because she meets Travon. Travon is a manager for a big rap group, however, that is all a front...

Travon is instantly smitten by Tiffany and uplifts her with all the money, cars, and jewelry she wants. Tiffany is finally finding her way and hoping that she is making her parents proud...But when something goes wrong, and Tiffany is the blame! What happens next will blow your mind!!

Very good read. Sean did his thang with Gangsters Melody. Tiffany from a small town of Ohio moving to B-More due to some family issues she moved in with her grandma that she didnt know. Caughting the attention of Monica that became her friend and also she was the leader of SD crew with her girls Terri and Lashawn.

Tiffany caught the eyes of Travon that works in the music industry but also has his hands in the drug business. Knowning Tiffany isn't like other girls he didnt tell her everthing keeping things from her.

Have beef with Horse causes some bodies to fall but also causing him and his soliders to do what they have to do. Wanting out but also liking the money.

Tests is taken with Travon and his crew plus with Tiffany.

Sad, sad, sad but it was a good overall read. Would love to know about SD girls Sean about their pass to who they are that would be a good read right there. Great job Sean Wright. :)

    Wolf in sheeps clothing. . . .

First let me start by saying WOW! A Gangster’s Melody is the story of a girl from Marion, Ohio named Tiffany who loses her parents by murder/ suicide. She goes to live with her grandmother in Baltimore who she does not know that well. On her first day there she is told she had to get a job and her grandmother sets her up with an interview at the local café. At this café is where she meets three girls, Monica, Terry and LaShawn aka the Stiletto Divas. Tiffany eventually moves in with Monica and joins the Stiletto Divas. They go to a club for a party where Tiffany meets businessman Travon and his D-Boy.

This story held my attention from page one. I read it in a day because I couldn’t put it down. The story flowed and just when you think you know what’s going to happen a twist comes in.
The ending I did not see coming at all. There were a few typos but not enough to alter the story.

Mr. Wright did a good job and wrote a good book.

Very good read! I highly suggest reading this book if you like drama and unexpected twist and turns.

    Another Head Banga

Omgggg yoooooo, that was fire 🔥. Got me up @4:48am reading this book. I hate Travon, god said you don't hate but that nigga really messed me up. Poor Tiffany, who's gonna raise her baby tho...

It was a good book. Not one i would get keep on my shelf, but it held my interest to read the sequel to this book. One thing i did not like, but i cannot blame the author for this because i know this is amazon doing because this is the third e-book i have where the title, acknowledgement, or company was on every other page. And the good point that its a good book. Good read for some rainy days. GOod storyline and it showed tha tthe author was trying not to fall under the typical good girl/drug dealer type of storyline. so for that, all praises go to Sean Wright. Now the reasons for the lost points was one the grammar was all correct. so that was half a star because i know my spelling and grammar is not always up to par. But the beginning was slow and the ending was wasn't like i thought it was. I mean, if he would've ended it with the chapter before the last chapter, then it would've been better. another thing i did not like was soo much of the narration. I mean, the way it started out was good with Tiffany and Travon, but then you have the situations popping out as well as other characters narrating without you knowing who it us until you get further down the line. If he would've put the names of the characters who was narrating on top of the chapter then it would've been better. Its a good read, not great. I know i can't give half's but i give it three and 1/2 stars.

A Gangster's Melody by author SeaN Wright is the story of a girl name Tiffany, who loses her parents by murder/ suicide. After the deaths of her parents, Tiffany goes to live with her grandmother.

Tiffany is force to adapt to a completely new surrounding.

This story line is great. The story flowed and just when you think you know what's going to happen a twist comes in. The characters seems so real.

This book is a page turner , a must read.......While reading the story you can picture it in your head happening. It's like a movie was being played out.

It's events that happen in every day life. The ending you will not see it coming. The ending will leave you with your mouth open , shock...

I personally went back and read the ending twice...

If you are looking for a good book to read , that is a page turner , I very highly recommend A Gangster's Melody.

A Gangster's Melody is the story of Tiffany, who loses her parents by murder/ suicide. This one single event changes the course of her life and sends her to live with a Grandmother she barely knows in Baltimore. Not knowing anyone, she quickly joins the Stiletto Divas,a gang of girls, who introduce her to Travon.
I gave A Gangsters Melody 5 stars because by the first couple of pages, I was hooked. The story line was great. Tiffany, the Stiletto divas, and Travon and his crew are very detailed, in-depth characters ,but make no mistake about it, this is not your ordinary Urban Street Tale. The ending left my mind spinning!A MUST read. Can't wait to see what Mr. Sean Wright has up his sleeve next.

WOW! This sequel did not disappoint! It had its twists and turns and unexpected moments and I enjoyed reading it very much! The only thing that was predictable was when Monica was talking to an anonymous person, I knew who it was the whole time. Mr. Travon got just want he deserved walking around treating people like trash who didn't deserve it! granted he loved Tiffany, he was too much into self preservation to do the right thing by his wife and just divorce her and let her be free because they no longer loved each other, and be honest with Tiffany. He seemed like he had good intentions but went about it totally wrong and karma came back and bit that ass! You reap what you sow...

OMG, started this book and thought I would finish it in a couple of days! I WAS GLUED to the pages for four hours until I finished it! I was shouting out and my heart was racing throughout! It started out being just good but the tempo increased steadily. I didn't even want to stop to take potty breaks! It defnitely wasn't the normal urban story, it totally threw me for a BIG LOOP!!! There has to be a part two because book one left me with my mouth hanging open! It was a very entertaining read!!!! I will be looking for more books by Sean Wright for sure!!!! Great work Sean!!!!

It's been a long time since I found a real page turner. A Gangster's Melody was a great read. Once I started it I could not put it down. I had to know what was gonna happen next. I will admit that some of it seemed to be a little unrealistic but after all, it is fiction. Overall it was a good story, the book was well written and gramatically correct. The ending was a total surprise and made me want to start part two immediately which is exactly what I did. This is a great debut novel and I look forward to reading more from Sean A. Wright and watching his writing career grow.

  • Erica

I thought "A Gangsters Melody" was a great book! I was not expecting what occurred at the very end, it totally blew me away!! I do think that the main Character, Tiffany just got with the wrong crowd and instead of her life getting better at some point it took a turn for the worst. What I thought was turning into a love story that was to good to be true, turned into nothing but lies, deceit and betrayal! I'm looking forward to reading part 2 to see it Tiffany's luck gets any better. Thanks for a great read Sean Wright...much love!

  • Deidre

OMG this was a true page turner, wow travon was a messy brother, how does this happen to anyone I can't wait to read part 2. Poor tiffany she didn't know what hit her and how could she , what a mess she's in now, I know part 2 is going to be fiyah!! Wow poor tiffany small town girl caught up with the wrong man and look where it got her, I can't imagine where part 2 is going to start or end! Onto book 2!

  • Latisha Patterson

This book was great! I especially loved the twist and surprise ending. I can't wait for the sequel. The author did a great job with the characters and making the likeable. I also loved the way a positive message was embedded in the book without making it seem like it was preaching to you. I finished this book in one day. It was definitely a page turner.

  • Sha

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!This book had me at the edge of my seat. I cant believe Tiffany was so small minded that she couldn't see how she was being taking advantage of. There was lieing, decieving, killngs and alot of backstabbing going on. It made me laught and cry and I know you will feel the same so pick it up cause there is a part 2.

  • Ghira

The book was a quick read and entertaining, but unbelievable. It had continuity errors that could be fixed by editing, and that's why I didn't rate it higher. That said, I give it a 5 for chronicling the game, and creating great characters. Look forward to a sequel.

  • Connie Rea

great ending, but I hate that I had to read through all the crap to get there....talk about stereotypical.....not sure I will be reading the second...yes I would love to know what happens, but not sure if I can stand all the eye rolls to get there.....

  • Donna Lewis

Oh my goodness, this book was so GOOD! Thanks to AAFB for selecting this as our featured book. I tell you all money aint good money and everything look good to ya aint good for ya!!!! Now on to the sequel to see what happens.

  • Blkvelvet

    OMG!

A gangster's life is a ruthless one. It's a where one's love for money is more than the love for family. Where loyalty to the "all mighty dollar" trumps traditional friendships. An unfortunate lesson learned quickly by a naive girl from a sleepy little town in Ohio.

  • Shantelle

OMG...all I'm going to say is that this book is a must read. Grabs your attention from page one and never lets go. Such an unexpected ending. Ready for part 2.

  • Charlene Grooms

    great read!!!

  • Alicia

Great story and message. I was very surprised by the ending can't believe it went down like that.
