A fun devotional. I read it little by little. I should have finished it sooner... but I finished when I finished. All the devotionals were good. Some were more impactful than others. Here is one part of one of my favorites.

"We can't change these seven realities:
    -Things are always changing.
-It rains on the just and the unjust.
-We are aging by the minute.
    -The rules aren't fair.
-You can't please all the people all the time.
-You can't heal another person's wounds.
    -God is good anyway!
    ...
You don't have to be wealthy to start giving to the poor. You don't have to be perfectly organized to start giving of your time. You don't have to have a beautiful home to invite other people in. You don't have to be especially gifted to start making a difference in this world." (pg 41)

A wonderful little book. Great for devotions. Little stories for each day, just right to go along with your Bible reading.

While there was one author whose essays and voice I really liked, there was one author whose essays seemed pointless and whose voice grated on my nerves. The other authors were fine. A 'meh' kind of book overall.
