    This book has some good advice. I picked it up solely for information on wintering my existing strawberry plants. Several suggestions feel like they’re more applicable for large plantings or for commercial planting. Not an excellent book for inexperienced gardeners, but still helpful.

    I learned that 25 plants will produce enough strawberries for 1 person, strawberries shouldn’t be planted where there were previously peppers, 4 years with 1 plant is a long time, and I should’ve removed the first year of planting’s blossoms for a larger yield next year.

    I gave this book 4 stars for the basic knowledge on growing strawberries, which is good for a novice. This book also has some recipes in the back , a good addition to my garden library.
