It's Elmo and Elmo's friends, which all people are ga-ga over, so what's not to like?
I'll tell you - Elmo has NO SPINE. So, when Cookie Monster eats Elmo's plate of cookies one at a time, what does Elmo do? Inform Cookie Monster that he is being rude? Strenuously object to Cookie Monster? Say "No!"? Not a chance. Elmo hides his last cookie. Way to teach kids how to avoid issues like weak-willed doughboys, Seasame Street! -
Kinda a fun little book. It has four little stories in it that really are readable for new readers. And at the beginning of each story there is a little paragraph for an adult to quickly parse overviewing the plot. That makes it a lot easier for the adult to help with questions as the reading happens.
