The Midnight Moon (Futuristic Romance) Reviews

I'm about 50% done with this book and wondering if I should continue reading it. I do not like the heroine. The heroine is a freedom fighter that relentlessly uses and lies the hero for her cause. If the hero was not such a stand-up guy, I would not mind her using him like that but he is really nice! There is no love without trust.

Trying to describe the plot of this book I realized how absurd the whole thing is. Dane's a space technician deeply in touch with both his heart and his barbarian roots. Aiyana is over 400 years old, a clueless virgin, and just about the ditsiest thing ever. There's a talking bat, evil clones, elves, space battles, backwoods necking, shape shifters, terriorists, secret pasts and almost secret babies.
Not terribly satisfying, but rather entertaining all things considered. -
It was the usual:
boy meets girl
Thinks girl is amphibious but is actually a beautiful woman in disguise.
They fall in love while trying to save the universe from evil female clones who want the mans 'seed'
Lots of reveals including the fact she is 400 years old
All turns out ok in the end.
Oh and there is a talking bat.
All up it was good and I didn't have to think too hard
