Leena Kirstinä on päivittänyt kirjallisuushistorian vastaamaan lukion uuden opetussuunnitelman 5. ja 6. kurssin vaatimuksia. Se sopii hyvin myös perusopetuksen yläluokille.

A nice and compact overview over literary history with a focus on Finland. I really liked that the author put female writers in the focus. Some parts felt a little rushed, but that may be the cost of the brevity of the book.
This doesn't affect my rating, but the english edition was the worst published translation I saw of a book, ever. Pictures were stretched and covered pieces of text, there were typos, wrong grammar, punctuation errors, sentences and whole paragraphs repeated themselves, etc... looks like someone just pasted the translated text in and hit print without revising anything. What a mess.
