    4,5 ⭐

It's the second book from Aimee that I've read. I am thankful I’m on her ARC Team.

This book is about Saffron, the daughter of a millionaire, who tries her best to show she is smart and worth a place in her father's firm, and Ethan, a handsome billionaire, who has a competitor firm and is Saffron's brother's best friend.

The book is a billionaire romance and has the following tropes: brother's best friend (or best friend's sister), age gap (15 years) and surprise pregnancy. I found no trigger warnings. I really like Aimee’s writing. The plot was interesting and cute.

Saffron was sweet, smart, nice and underestimated at first. But I also found her to be spoiled, annoying, selfish and unfair. Ethan, on the other hand, was very interesting, attractive, nice, noble, cute, sweet, down-to-earth and logical. I totally loved him!

Overall, I liked the book and I totally recommend it!

Saffron Lavette, 25 is back in Chestnut Bay after getting her Master's Degree in Business from Oxford University. She wants to work in her family's business, Triton's but getting her dad on board with that is a whole other matter, luckily her brother Ashton is trying to help bring her in.
Ethan Adams, 40 is owner of Perseus and a direct competitor of Triton's. He is best friends with Ashton growing up together and feels Mr. Lavette was a big help in getting him started up and now hates him but he and Ashton don't let their businesses come between their friendship.
Ethan sees a woman at an event he's doing and is intrigued and realizes it's Saffron. A couple weeks go by and they run into each other and go to lunch where he offers to mentor her. The more time they spend with each other the more they like the other but they are competitors. Do they dare make them more?

Age Gap/Brother's Best Friend Romance. This story has such heart, Saffron and Ethan's chemistry is so combustible together...you need a fire extinguisher close by...🔥🔥🔥😅or hey maybe a fireman?? The blend of emotions, family drama, twists, and that CHEMISTRY...what an amazing read!! This story will capture you from the beginning and you will be hooked!! Aimee is an author I have grown to really enjoy reading, she once again did not disappoint!!

I received this as an ARC and voluntarily this is my review.

Saffron returns to town after finishing her degree. She wants to work for her father's company, but he doesn't think that she is worthy. She meets Ethan at a city cleanup event that she organized and there are immediate sparks. They end up working together even though their companies are often rivals. However, this is where Saffron's inexperience shows up a bit, because she allows emotion and her new relationship with Ethan to color her business decision and sense. Ethan gives her good business advice while still trying to maintain a relationship with her. Saffron tries to explain her relationship to her parents and they are resistant at best. She enlists her brother to help, but business and past decisions are coloring their beliefs about Ethan.

Ethan is the ultimate book boyfriend in a lot of ways. He's willing to go out of his way to mend fences with Saffron's parents for her sake as well as planning a perfect date in a matter of hours just to make her feel special. Saffron's character grows into herself throughout the story; she really is the spoiled princess at the beginning of the story, but she learns to stand on her own.

This is book three of this series and told in first person POV by both the MMC and MFC. I loved this book just as much as I loved the other two books in this series. Each book can be read as a standalone. I loved the brother’s best friend/age-gap/surprise baby tropes for this book.

I loved Saffron and Ethan. I loved how Saffron was determined to help with her family business, even if her parents weren’t thrilled about it. I loved that Ethan was also viewed as the bad guy in Saffron’s parents eyes, which helped in the build up of the drama and fallout. I loved how romantic Ethan was towards Saffron and ready to show her that she wasn’t just another notch in his bedpost. I loved that Saffron’s brother, Ethan’s best friend, was so encouraging and supportive of their relationship and helped them both with their relationship in many different ways.

I have enjoyed all of Amiee Bronson’s books so far. I couldn’t put any of them down after I started them. I can’t wait to see what the next story will be about!

    Best friends brother romance

A good story I did enjoy.
Brothers best friend Ethan meets Saffron after she moves back home, with a 15yr she gap they didn't really have any interaction previously, however they now are both attracted to each other and start a secret relationship.
Her parents wouldn't approve of their relationship as he now clothes Ethan after he started a rival business which grew to excel in he is now a billionaire.
Ethans father was Saffrons parents driver years ago and they just can't accept Ethans suscess.
Lots of drama due to business, a no I t project is decided not but ultimately we saw no ending achieved.
I thought the ending was rushed which spoiled it for me, Saffron finds out she's pregnant then it jumps seven months to the birth, then jumps four months to the wedding so no real detail on either which was a shame, also we didn't do s out of the joy t project ended well or not, overall nothing seemed to have a detailed conclusion. Not what I expected reading the title.

I enjoyed Safron and Ethan's story I was engrossed in their journey from beginning to end, they've known each other for years, Ethan's fifteen years older than her and her brother's best friend. But their lives have changed from when they were younger, he's no longer just her brother's friend but is now a very rich man and a successful business rival.

Safron has been in Europe, obtaining her Master's Degree from Oxford University but has returned to take her place in the family business. When she and Ethan meet again the attraction they both feel is undeniable and strong and they decide not to fight it but to embrace it and begin, a relationship whilst keeping it a secret from her family.

The chemistry between them was palpable, their age difference irrelevant and their connection strong. It was good seeing them embrace their future together and how they didn't give in to outside influences.

This is a drama filled but hot as he$$ sexy steamy read. Saffron has returned home and wants to give back to her community and her father's company but he doesn't see her as anything but his little princess. Ethan has known them for a long time. His father use to work for Saffron's family and they only see him as the help. If I tell you there is Drama in here and it's not coming from Saffron but her parents, believe me. Ethan's company has out surpassed theirs and now they are bidding for the same contract. I love that her brother stayed true to his friendship with Ethan. Saffron on the other hand sometimes had a short fuse that she later learn to control. The heat and love between these two will leave you hot and bothered and also breathless. There are part in this story that are like a ticking time bomb but oh you will enjoy it.

    Thank you for your review.

    4.6⭐️ Age-Gap Brother’s Best Friend Romance with a HEA

I love a brother’s best friend romance. This was not my favorite Aimee Bronson book, though. I have loved every other story that I’ve read of Aimee’s. This one was a good story … just not my favorite. Saffron was annoyingly immature. Ethan commented several times about how immature she was acting, but it didn’t matter that much to him because he was in love with her. I loved the relationship between Saffron & her brother and the relationship between her brother & his best friend, Ethan. I love how they were able to separate their friendship and the competition of business. The change in the parents from hating Ethan to accepting him gave me whiplash. It seemed to happy too fast/easy. As always, the bedroom scenes were 🔥. I was happy to get a HEA.

I absolutely love Aimee Bronson's books. The storylines are always catchy So is this story the forbidden rule that you don't go with your brother's best friend or your best friend's sister and certainly don't fall in love. But Saffron and Ethan don't care because you can't lose feelings you can suppress them but they still win. There's some drama and some bumps and turns they take or didn't see coming and most of all a lot of hot and steamy moments between them. This is a must read and I wish you a lot of reading pleasure!.

I received an Advance Reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review

I really loved reading this book and read it in one sitting. It was really good, so wasn't hard to actually read it non stop haha..

Saffron and Ethan's love story was so beautiful but such a hard one. Everything is against them.
Yet both don't give up on each other. I really liked that Saffron was strong and fierce. Ethane was just 😍 hot and Alpha.

Give this a read and see how they hive in to their sizzling chemistry and how hard they have to fight against every to get their HEA.

There was so much emotion, sizzling Steamy scenes, drama and angst.

    Definitely 5 stars

Aimee Bronson has knocked it out of the park with Saffron & Ethan's story. This is a brilliant age gap story & the dynamic between the characters is what I believe sells the book. The family pressure appears to be overpowering. Will the love & desire Saffron & Ethan have for each other be strong enough to squash any doubts others may have? Love the authors writing & can't wait to see what the author writes next.

I received a free ARC copy for my honest review of the story.

This was another good read from Aimee Bronson, I struggled with rating it because it was 4-4.5 but I can't do half stars. Age-Gap, Brother’s Best Friend are two pretty clear labels you could give this one. But some elements fit into surprise pregnancy although in some ways it wasn’t truly a surprise lol. Also, with the business rivals and being someone that her parents wouldn’t approve of it could he could be considered an enemy of part of the family even though not technically her enemy. I think this one will check off the boxes for lots of people. I did enjoy the characters and how they seemed to grow throughout the story.

    Safron & Ethan

I loved this book from beginning to end. Safron returns to her city after being in Europe. When she see again her brother's best friend the attraction in them is very strong. Ethan has been very successful in his life, he made his fortune out of nothing. Safron and Ethan surrender to the attraction and begin, a relationship, although it has to be a secret of her family. Things happen and none of that is planned but in the end they have their HEA.

  • Merry Jelks-Emmanuel

This is a wonderful age gap romance that drew me in and had me connecting with Saffron. She has graduated with a business degree and wants to work in the family's business, but her father thinks that it is man's business, and she should find an eligible man to marry. When she connects with Ethan her brother's best friend her path to happiness truly begins but will it disrupt her family and make Ethan an enemy of her brother?
I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
