One Seed to Another is a compelling look at farming, agriculture and the future of both written by an author/poet/ farmer from Seattle, Washington. As a member of the Small Farms Conservancy, Hunter has great concerns about the current practices of the large, corporate farms. Never has anyone so eloquently stated those concerns.

Some good points, felt meandering and indirect. His is critique of capitalism as a reason that small farmers have gone out of business, without investigating other forces such as government intervention, inspection and interference is lacking the whole picture.
But it is an enjoyable read that does make one think.
