Paul and First-Century Letter Writing: Secretaries, Composition And Collection Reviews
-
A little dry I suppose but it's a really detailed and well-researched book dedicated to breaking down our twenty-first-century based misconceptions about letter-writing. For a first-century letter writer, Paul faced lots of complications and problems I've never considered. The books deals with really important questions about authorship and obstacles that revolved around the early church and Paul's incredibly important mission work in the culture of Asia minor during the first hundred years after Christ's resurrection.

A well constructed argument;however,I'm incredulous as to the evidence that Richards presents. There is no accepted consensus among biblical scholars that secretaries were used in implementing the writings of texts attributed to them. A very good read, though.
