Again another great book from Captain Gabriel Lacey's world. When he gets the plea from a beautiful woman to try and find out who killed her husband. Of course Gabe being the hero with his heart on his sleeve, how can he resist? He can't and so begins a whirlwind of past deception and murder. It is all Gabriel can do to keep his wits as he fights to find the truth among all the lies. This was a great mystery and a great continuing series.
