Detecting procedural with twists along the way. Well drawn characters and realistic interplay between them The cipher garden bit was interesting, but its nature did not seem to brood as it might in a tv version ( lots of cutaways, dark images and sombre music cliche potential I would imagine). Still it was an interesting sub plot device. I found it hard to engage initially, but it grows on you over time as a story.
