4 Stars! ~ Ben DeCarlo's been framed for murder and he's desperate to prove it. His retrial results in another guilty verdict. In his escape from custody at the courthouse, he kidnaps Monique as part of his disguise. It isn't until later that her realizes that Monique is one of the eye witnesses that convicted him. The more time Monique spends with Ben, she realizes that he couldn't be the man who committed the murders. Once she's convinced Ben that she won't turn him in, they start the hunt for the truth.
This is very good wrap-up to the trilogy. The truth as it unfolds is riveting.
Eye Witness trilogy Book #3
Three women have to give up their identities when they witness the same murder. Now they have to return to New Orleans to testify again. The convicted man has been granted a retrial. -
Read this because it looked funny, and it was just as ridiculous as I was expecting. There wasn't really much in the way of sex in this book, which I thought was the point of the romance novel. In it's place was a mystery story, dully, but competently plotted.
