Treasures of Led Zeppelin (Y) Reviews

The nostalgia grabs hold of you with both hands as you pour through several stories that make up the thing that was Led Zeppelin. Littered with memorabilia and captions, this 64 page book is well worth owning...and of course reading!! I just wish it was longer. But don't we all. The longer I get in the tooth, the more I appreciate the mighty LED ZEPPELIN!!!

Interesting, lots of pictures, short on words.

When I saw this bright yellow book sitting on the counter of Books A Million, I was thrilled! Only because I coundn't find any other Zeppelin books at the time. When I brought it to my step-mom saying I wanted to buy it, she looked at it like it was some drug crazed book that would only cause me trouble. But I got it. It taught me alot about these brilliant people, and opened up a whole new world to me about music. Plus! Now I have cool posters hanging up in my room! Yes, it comes with old posters and tickets in it as well! But what I really liked were the chapters about their albums! It gives a paragraph for each song, describing them, and somtimes telling what inspired the band to write their amazing songs! I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan, and this book "just satisfies."
P.S. If you are a Jimmy Page fan, you should know that he put out a single called "She Just Satisfies." Hopfully,(if you knew) you got that "just satisfies" thing it wrote in my reveiw. He play's the guitar, harmonica, base, and sings in that song. -
A very interesting book on my favorite band! Solid information on the songs and band members, but what really separates it from the rest of the pack, is the addition of facsimile posters, ticket stubs and other paraphernalia from the bands history.
