A Treasury of Best-loved Children's Poetry Reviews

I would definitely recommend this book for any children's library! It has a great variety of poems from a variety of authors that could please multiple levels of reading. The illustrations are mesmerizing which makes the poems much more interesting to read. The way the pictures cover the spread and the color palette make the illustrations come alive to the point that they seem magical. I also think the illustrations do a great job of making well known, higher level poetry, such as Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky", more kid friendly and possibly more understandable.
