Peppa our best friend

Peppa and George are introduced to the library for the first time (and their father realizes he has a massive fine for a much overdue book. A briefer board book adaptation of _Peppa Pig and the Library Visit_.

Average at best....who reads a book on concrete?
-
Kait was such a fan of Peppa at one point and every once and awhile the show/books have jokes that really amuse me. Daddy Pig having a library book out about concrete for ten years is one of those.

While I love Peppa Pig, I'm not a fan of this book.
The low-quality illustrations and obnoxious typeface are a good place to start, but in addition, part of the author's introduction for young readers to libraries is the notion that those who return books late are "naughty" (take it from a librarian, this isn't how I'd describe an overdue book).
Long-winded and with overly-complex (but hastily-constructed) illustrations, I wouldn't say this is my favorite format for Peppa and friends. I'll stick with the show. -
My 2 year old daughter loves the peppa pig books, we read them over and over again.
