  It's still an Archie comic, so it's great, but I do have a complaint: Why does Veronica always have to be the villain?

  This was a really fun volume with B & V statring in various fairy tales wuth humor and twisty modern endings. My favorite ones were Rapunzel and the a Little Mermaid. I also liked that tge author gave tge reader educatiin on the origin of each story. A fun read

  I like Archie comics, and I grew up reading Betty and Veronica digests. For a long time they were the only comics I knew. So, any time they do something pop culture related like this, I just sit back and enjoy the ride. This wasn't perfect but it was a lot of fun to read, and pretty funny to look at all the characters transformed into other well known characters.

  I love any kind of storybook re-telling. And since I grew up with Archie and the gang, I love how Betty and Veronica are placed as the main characters of my most loved stories from when I was a kid. Every story is very creatively constructed. And I love how some details are changed to reference Riverdale's own quirks (like Pop's). It's the perfect modern-ish twist to the best childhood stories we all grew up loving.

  Archie comics is great at all. so funny and cool for teenagers.
  but it is a little disappointing for an Iranian teenager (like I was) because it shows us a lovely teenage word that we don't have in here.
  
  از آخرین بار که خوندمش خیلی گذشته، اما یادمه که خیلی قشنگ و جالب بود و کاملاً با دنیای نوجوانی می‌ساخت. حتی از لوک خوش‌شانس هم بهتر بود به نظر من، ولی به تن‌تن نمی‌رسید
  اگه یک نوجوون هستی این رو بدون که نباید دنیای این تو رو با زندگی خودت مقایسه کنی. ما مدارس توی این کمیک رو نداریم؛ تفریحاتشون رو نداریم؛ با بچه‌های مدرسه ساحل نمی‌ریم! و از همه مهم‌تر به خوشکلی کاراکترهای این کمیک هم نیستیم. اما این به این معنی نیست که ما زندگی بدی داریم یا هیچ جای دنیا جایی به این خوبی هست. این یک کمیکه و خیلی چیزا خیلی بهتر از اونی که باید تصویر شده. من تو اون دوران همش به آرچی حسودیم می‌شد و می‌خواستم جای اون باشم و اصلاً دوران خوبی نبود و بعداً فهمیدم اون طور که من فکر می‌کردم هم نبوده :)

  For fans of the Betty and Veronica series from Archie comics, this is a definite addition to any collection. Featuring the gang that we have come to know and love, the book features four fairy tales starring everyone's favorite BFFs as the titular characters of the stories. Before each story is a little history on each fairy tale given by writer Dan Parent. It is a fun read for Archie fans of all ages!

  Sometimes I just like checking in on Riverdale. But this is dumb. Incredibly problematic as they are, I prefer the regular comics, though I like how expanded the gang has gotten since I last read this stuff.

  my favorite story is cinderella because the story is the most different from the real one because there are two cinderellas! i also liked the wizard of oz, because i liked the movie. i don't know why veronica is always the witch.

  3* because I would give it 1...wait, I wouldn't read it...but Mim loves them. Who, besides my daughter, wants to read these? I'll be glad when she's a reader...then she can dig into these herself! ;)

  Library copy. My kid's were right, the Cinderella story was the better of 4 fairy tales done in the world of Riverdale.

  i loved this book it was hilarious. i felt like i was in a parody of the stories and i jut loved it
