I loved following Julie Cantrell’s story of Dog and Duck on Instagram . Now she has this very sweet story in a book! I had to get a copy for myself & a sweet 6-year old boy with a big white dog. Precious!!!

Thank you so much for Dog Saves Duck and all the goodies that came with it! Levon absolutely loves it! We read it over and over again at least 5 times a night. Can't wait until I can share it with my Porch Pals! It is such a cool book! I have had all of my family members read it when they come over!

Plan on taking it to the next Porch Pals Ladies Group. Levon is starting to read with it. He loves to say the Bigger and Bigger and Bigger part! He also has to touch the black spots on dog and ducks heads!

I love that this is a totally true story! When we read God is with me in the Day and God is with me in the Night, we look at the younger golden dog in those pictures and guess that could be Dog when he was younger.

We are also in a reading program at our High Plains Library District, Carbon Valley Library to read 1000 books before he starts school! Every time we read it again, it gets to count toward that goal. If he reaches it, he gets a backpack with materials in it to use when they start school.

Thank you for writing and publishing this book. We absolutely love it! Nonnie and Levon

I fell in love with Dog Saves Duck instantly when I read it to my grandkids via video because they live in California. I even became emotional while reading the book and enjoying the beautiful pictures, and my grandkids also fell in love with Dog and Duck, even my 11-year-old grandson! I bought it for my four and five-year-old grandkids, so that was a pleasant surprise. I don't blame him though. We are an animal loving family. In fact, I plan to keep my copy and order others for my grandkids and a couple other "kids at heart" whom I know will appreciate this book.

This sweet book, based on a true story of a dog saving a duck during a storm and becoming best buddies, was well loved by the Nursery Schoolers and pre-K students I teach! The photos of the dog and duck and some of their other animal buddies are truly adorable. Our nursery school teacher commented to me after reading it to her 3 yr old students, “Now I want a duck. I think my dog needs a duck!

This was a sweet story of interspecies friendship. The photographs of Dog and Duck really engaged my daughter (3 years old) and she especially loved Duck. I appreciated the simple storyline that tells the story in a way that is easy for the very young to consume. PLUS, I just love dogs and ducks, so that's a win!

I loved this children’s book. It has colorful photos that go along with the story. The dog and duck model kindness to each other. They show they can get along even though they are different animals. They also see how they are the same.

Thank you to Julie Cantrell for an advanced copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!
