I just loved this series. I thought the first book was a little slow in the very beginning but once you get past the turning point its actually quite good. I loved the second and third books in this trilogy!
The book is much like the Twilight series or Harry Potter series, except that this one is a werewolf community. Its a very smooth and easy read like the series I mentioned above. They are quite a bit smaller then those books but very good.
The main characters are around 16-17 and even though there is attraction there, its ill-fated. The mother of the girl is horrific as is her brother. There are a few parts that are kind of disturbing, maybe a bit to graphic for young readers, but they are few and far between and add to the gruesome life being depicted here. In book 3 in particular you get a really good view of her father and just what kind of man errr wolf he is and its a bit surprising.
This was probably the saddest of the three books, I shed a few tears when our main male character's parents took a more active role in this story. I was happy with the ending but wish it had more descriptive or given an epilogue.
I really enjoyed this trilogy, it was a quick, easy read and very enjoyable! -
this is the final book of the wereling series, Tom, kate and the rest of the gang gather in chigago for the final battle against tapaka. They were pursued by the dark chapter, a pureblood clan in Chicago, during the beginning of the book. Jason assumed that they wanted him dead, but finds out that their on his side, sort of. Tapakas plan evetialy unravels and they find out that hes attempting to resuscitate the great wolf from the dead, so the vampires would have no choice but to obey their leader. Things turned out different when the great wolf was revived, he despised tapakas ideas and tapaka ended up getting killed by the great wolf. Stacy created a serum that would be poisonous to the great wolf and he eneded dieing. As Tom waits for his cure from jicaque, he spends his time with kate.

Absolutely adored this little trilogy! I will most definitely be making a second trip through the series again. I was hoping for a little more of a kiss from Tom and Kate at the end but the beautiful ending of them embracing with Kate’s silent words “This isn’t how it ends, this it how it begins” was a such an amazing way to end it. Leaves us to imagine what their futures would be together, and all I can see is them never being apart and spending their lives together ❤️

Was an okay time filler for about 4 hours (maybe). Was full of action but felt cheap. Noticed the author always kind of has everything done for the main characters by side characters and they are just witnessing what happens. Nobody develops everything was predictable and you get cheated on the ending.

OKay so i soooo read this out of order. I SKIPPED THE SECOND ONE!!!WHY! I really thought this one was the second one but it sooo wasn't but i read it anyways because i couldn't help it! i mean it was so fast pace and thrilling that i could not put it down. I told myself "HEY I NEED TO READ THE SECOND! WHY ARE YOU CONTINUING TO READ THIS!?" and well to be honest i could not stop myself (lost all self-control) . its lame i know it but i did and i still say it was crazy good so there, it geta solid five.

This is the conclusion of the trilogy, and although it was pretty good, the ending was just slightly disappointing – a bit of a damp squib. I wanted the conclusion to resolve everything but it felt like it had been left just a little open in case the author had an idea for a further installment. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad – not by a long shot – it just didn’t quite deliver in the way I had hoped it would. Still, over all, the trilogy is a decent enough read and a fun way to fill a few hours if you like young adult paranormal books.

3.5 for keeping the plot up with action. *spoilers ahead* Started this series a few days ago and finished it like...maybe 4 or 5 days later? Anyways, this book was a good distraction. I don't recommend for people who like some character development. This book is lacking in that specific region. I was hoping that Kate would confront her other self. Hell there were some werewolves who weren't that bad, but no. Took the easy way out and just stayed human, killed off all the two dimensional bad characters. Meh.

I do like me some trilogies. They have a nice clean structure without the potential of turning into porn/redundancy/mary-sue as a series sometimes does.
The third book does not disapoint with action. Old friends and enemies return, a few new friends and a few new enemies reach out on the sidelines.
It's a happy-go-lucky sentimental ending which I am not partial too. But all-in-all I would recommend this to those who have lost faith in YA horror/science fiction. -
This book is one of the best books that I have read. This book is about two young adults that go to Chicago, because that's were all of their enemies are gathering at,to resurrect a terrible force from the past to help him bring about his revolution. Tom and Kate the two main characters know that they cant let their enemies resurrect this terrible force. When I first saw this book I thought that I wouldn't like it, but when I started reading this book I really liked it.

This is the last book in the series and I found that I liked it a little less than books 1 and 2. The plot here was kind of ... iffy and this book wasn't as exciting as the first two. However, I still love the series and give it 4 stars overall.

Incredible from start to finish! One of the first books I ever read about werelings and one of the best. The first book is not the greatest and moves slow but by the second book you can't put it down. With a great story line, teen love story, and good detail this book is a must read!

Read 20 pages while waiting for a movie in 2008. Need to finish it. Not a bad series in terms of action but its lacking character development. Its more of a read it while your waiting for another book kind of series. Something easy to pick up. Finally finishing this series in 2016!
