Almost DNF'd this!
I would have missed out on a really good, drama filled story if I had not finished this. The very first scene was lively and funny and full of fun mess and then it took a dark turn and I kind of wanted out. But there was just so.ething about Luna that kept me drawn to the story. This story, although all over the place, was really good. And I feel like I have an idea of what's coming next, but I probably have no idea. It's a lot and I was in the mood for the drama.
This was a new to me author and I really enjoyed her writing. -

Great Read
Adiya isn't happy with Kaleb. She's settling. Kaleb is obnoxious, selfish, and self center. I also believe he's cheating with best friend Brandon and is on the DL. If that's the case. Adiya have a lot to worry about being that Brandon have HIV. Jakel need to get her daughter Lency The little young hoe is messy and lowkey starting drama behind the scenes with Adiya. Lency is jealous of Adiya because of Luna. Lency have tried to throw herself on Luna multiple times and each time he turn her down. I don't like Shayla. I understand that she's still dealing with past trauma. However sending Luna. Her own brother to prison for protecting her from Deminico from whooping her ass is disloyal as hell. Luna came home from prison finding out his baby momma Ana is on drugs, his uncle is on some bs giving his sister Shayla access to the money, dealing with the death of his brother Greg, falling in love with Adiya was a lot. He need to get himself and his son away from Ana because she is unhinge. For the life of me I can't understand why he is protecting Ginger. Ginger have some type of Mental Illness. What she did to Greg was wrong all because she couldn't control her anger. No matter what Ginger done. I can't get with her being sexually assaulted and beat the way she was. When she mentioned one of the men who was nervous fiddling with his hand and fingers during her attack. It wasn't hard to figure out who it was. Bino have no clue how scandalous Sabrina is. Bino ex Karyn is back and that have Sabrina on edge because she knows what she did to Karyn and if Bino find out. Sabrina already know the consequences. She also realize that Karyn still have Bino heart. The way this ended have me laughing. I don't like Kaleb. Him walking in the house and see Luna standing in the kitchen with Adiya was funny because Luna dgaf and Adiya was held in Luna trance paying Kaleb absolutely no attention. -

Ion know what it is but something is off with Kaleb. I just hope it ain't Brandon. I hate Greg had to go so early in the story. Ginger was wrong on so many levels for what she did but she didn't deserve what happened to her. That got Shayla and Nico name all over it. I can't believe she hate her brother that bad for something he knew nothing about. I love Luna. I think Luna a good dude but got the weight of the world on his shoulders. His family moving real funny. I hope him and Adiya get right and he shows everybody why he the boss and shouldn't be played with.💘💘 -
Sometimes Things Happen Out Of Our Control!
Kia, great read, boy how much mess is going on? I pray I never love no-one or no one loves me so much that we lose each other and do all kind of crazy things. Greg, loved Ginger too much and the cost was terrible. Samantha was a she devil that had no soul just messy to have her way. Luna was finding out it's sometimes your enemies are right in your face. Kaleb is a fraud and I pray Adiya comes out safe. I'm getting ready to see if what I think will happen. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 -
Great read! Although I commend Luna for trying to do the right thing for ginger. I just couldn't understand it knowing she had homicidal tendencies ain't no helping in that. She actually deserved what she got. The chemistry between Adiya ND Luna is powerful. I see why they gravitated towards each other. This book was great to read, and I enjoyed most of the characters except Sabrina ginger and le Cy Ana as well

I loved this story it captured my attention from to the beginning to the end. Giovanni ( Luna) after doing time in prison has come back to claim his throne but his sister has other plans. Shayla is a trip.
Adiya is a nurse and is trying to make it work with her boyfriend Kaleb, he is a F boy in my opinion.
When Luna and Adiya meet at a party in Cali and Sparks fly between them , Age ain’t nothing but a number!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait until part 2! I honestly believe Kaleb is cheating on Adiya with his best friend but I’m not sure if it’s his best friend or what but we gone see. I need Giovanni to handle his business with his baby momma so him and Adiya can be together. Just excited about this book and can’t wait to see what’s gone happen

Woo hoo in my Rick flare voice this book was so good omg I can’t wait to read what happens next even in this book is crazy at this point. I love Luna and Adiya together. Somehow I feel like Kaleb is gay idk but I hope I’m wrong on that. Why did I also think Adiya was pregnant by Luna. From the Cliffhanger it’s going down in the next book. -
Crazy
This well written book is full of crazy drama. From the very beginning a death happens and the murderer goes unpunished until Karma comes her way at the hands of someone else. Then the family is so dysfunctional. From the mama to the uncle, siblings and cousins. On to part two. -
Wonderful exciting storyline
Okay, I think I'm going to enjoy this series I see it going to have love, lust, and loyalty. And speaking of love. I'm looking forward to seeing the love and relationship Adi and Luna have been building and all the challenges they are going to face trying to maintain it. -

This book was so freakin good, I read it in a couple of hours and can't wait to start on book 2! So much happened, Greg, wow, Ana a druggy, Luna and Adiya. So much, then the brutal attack, wow! Shayla, a whole opps! Nico, he's going to get his! I really enjoyed this. A few grammatical errors but overall an excellent series! -
Way to end the year
Kudos Author Kia Jones. You wrote the hell out of this book. The characters interaction was magnificent along with a raving storyline. I need the next book like yesterday please. 10 stars 🤩 -
