Most of these plays are okay but nothing special. But some of them are really great:

How to Survive in Corporate America (A Manual in 8 Steps) by Ian August
Interesting concept with the narrator speaking to the character. Some amusing parts.

In the Trap by Carl L. Williams
Entertaining. Seems it would be fun to act out.

The Perfect Red by Paolo Soto Hornbuckle
This is a very deep play, well-written. I loved the metaphors and imagery.

    Measuring Mathew by Patrick Gabridge
Not one of my favorites but still pretty good.

Guys, Only Guys! by Jeromes Parisse
    Pretty good.

    Do-Overs by Larry Hamm
I loved this play. So clever and so much fun to act. It's about a woman and a man who are spending eternity together and they meet again in purgatory. Lots of great lines and the sexual tension between the characters is fun to act out, too.

Well, I have definitely learned two things. First, I would be an extremely harsh grader were I an English teacher and these my students' projects. Apparently I hate the use of conventions and at the same time don't want anything aggressively reluctant to be accessible. Second, it is impossible to power through 30 plays in short order. The best pace I could find was to read four at a time and then take a break and figure out what I liked/disliked about them.

I think these plays are more useful as examples of how to structure a short play than being worthy of production, but there are a few I would have loved to see the author stretch into the 15-20 minute range. Some were too compressed while others just didn't have enough time to let the characters emerge.
