Prince: An Artists Life, 1958-2016 Reviews

This book is a compilation of articles that allows you to meet the great Prince, in his musical and artistic genius, and also the person behind.
He is one of the very few celebrities (singers, writers ...) that I personally miss :_( -
I've enjoyed Prince Rogers Nelson's musicality and versatility as a performing artist for many years.
This book makes me enjoy his personal experiences as an individual (and very vulnerable) warm-hearted human being all that much more.
Surely, he was missed by many, and today, by some people, and by all accounts, he still is. -
A memory of the man
We all have a musical idol no matter what generation you hale from. Sinatra, Bowie, Hendricks, Elvis, Jackson, Domingo, Shostakovich, Davis, Lennon, Harrison, James, Mozart, Rachmaninoff... Those idols may include dancers, writers and visual artists. Nevelson, Warhol, Hines, Nureyev, Herbert, Butler, Michelangelo, Durer, da Vinci, Kahlo... Few crossed genres as well as Prince Rogers Nelson. The testimonials in Prince, An Artist's Life 1958-2016 provide a humorous insight into The Artist, icon, actor, musician, dancer, performer, writer, composer, athlete and man, formerly known as Prince. For someone who hated being interviewed, there is a tremendous amount of positive documentation about his life. It is worth reading the electronic version of this book so you can play Prince videos of the songs, movies, sketches, concerts and solos while reading. The retelling of firsthand interaction with the enigma can never replace his presence on this earth, but it is a good effort in remembering him. -
Enjoyable
I learned things about my favorite artist that I didn't know. Prince was and always will be the man. As a fan I am happy to be able to get this. Thank you TIME.
