At the top of each page is a portion of the well-known nursery rhyme. At the bottom is a story to expand on the rhyme/illustrations. Not bad. But I'm kind of protective of this particular rhyme in all its variations; having the same name as one of the main characters and hearing it my whole life.

A wonderfully inventive retelling of the traditional rhyme. The hand quides at the end are a nice addition!

A really sweet version of the rhyme and it comes with another story as well.
Beautifully illustrated! Children will be able to see what an old fashioned well looked like in an authentic setting!
