The Practical Guide to Drawing Landscapes Reviews
-
Perfect for beginners interested in trying a few scenaries on their own
The book's also written like a friendly, tutorial video, and goes well with some music and warm drink. I've been watching intensely art crash courses on YouTube, which weren't bad, but this book was a breath of fresh air; it went down smoothly with jazz and English Breakfast, in one sitting.
However, this book is not for those looking for landscape/prop references, and more research outside of the book may be needed.
There are many complex art guide books out there which will tell you more in detail and provide you with more examples, but there are such things as redundancy and commercial gimmicks. For beginners, this book is sufficient.
