“I need a ride,” I said to a sexy stranger on a Harley.

Three hours later? A six-foot-tall Marilyn Monroe was officiating our Vegas wedding at the Happy Chapel.

But it’s not love—it’s business—a marriage pact made out of desperation so my career doesn’t go up in flames.

Sure, Flynn Winslow is a hot, broody, mysterious man that women all over the globe would sell their souls to land for real, but I have my eyes on the prize and our marriage arrangement will end in three months with no strings attached.

Right?

Or will it all go out the window when I have to move in with Mr. Mysterious and our fake marriage starts to feel remarkably real ?

I wish it were as easy as telling myself, Do not fall in love with your fake husband, Daisy, but apparently, when feelings get involved, not everything that happens in Vegas knows how to stay in Vegas.

WARNING: This book is outright hilarious, as you might expect, but also, Flynn is the kind of hero who brings a little something extra to the table—hot, mysterious, dirty-talking, this man will make your ovaries explode.

Honestly, we’re highly tempted to add a disclaimer about using protection while reading, but apparently, Trojan doesn’t offer *ahem* for electronic devices. So, just consider this a warning. A big warning. The Pact is going to make you laugh your booty off, but its HOT LEVEL is so OFF THE CHARTS, there’s a chance this book could get you pregnant via osmosis.

    ⭐️ one star -

I started this one for a quick read as I’m in between books right now (always searching for that stellar five star read 📚), and I decided to pick this up to kill time. Welp, I didn’t care for it, and it quickly got shelved to DNF.

I have tried one or two books previously by Max Monroe, and have liked them somewhat. They generally get two to three stars, but this one is garnering a measly one star, and I just might be done with this author duo.

The book that I somewhat liked by them is “The Bet”, and you can read my review of that here 👉
    https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

One observation that I had of this author duo is that it’s my impression that they are writing these stories in somewhat of a vacuum; where one author is writing one part, then the second author steps in to finish out the story. Just my speculation, but that’s how these stories read to me. They read like a piecemeal job that picks up where one leaves off, and it may or may not make sense with the flow of the overall story.

This story, The Pact, may be a victim of this writing style, and maybe I read the part by the author that I feel is less appealing (the beginning), and maybe I could have read more to get to the point where the other author (whose writing style I prefer of the two) would pick it up, and maybe I’d enjoy it 🤷‍♀️ but I didn’t stick around to find out if this would be the case. I was too put off by the annoying heroine and the super cheese-fest vibe that is the billionaire brother gang.

This is one heroine where the phrase, “bubble-headed beach blonde” comes to mind, and I’m a blonde that would normally be offended by this lol, but she’s almost tstl, that I couldn’t go on after she hops onto the back of a motorcycle of a complete stranger. Mind you, this is in a city she doesn’t know, also in a city where the likelihood of sex trafficking is high, and she goes off with a complete stranger - on the back of his motorcycle. I stopped reading right there. Didn’t even make it to the sexy times - boo.

I can’t with stupidity from a mc, so I’m out.

DNF and do not recommend. Unless by some miracle in the future, this author duo pulls off a book where there are an outrageous number of four and five star reviews, I’m going to have to pass on future installments. The writing style here just appears to be not for me, but I really did try 🤷‍♀️

    4.5 Flynn/Daisy Cute Stars
    Say What, Only 99 CENTS!!!
    * * * * 1/2 Spoiler Free-A Quick Review
Author Max Monroe has created a very special family made up of the Winslows. This family is addictive and with all of the different personalities, there is a Winslow brother or sister for everyone.

With this entry, we have the second oldest brother Flynn being the designated sober and responsible brother during the Vegas bachelor trip. All the other brothers are over-the-top drunk and goofy, while Flynn is making sure the others don't do anything too impulsive.

Yet, impulsive is what actually happens when Flynn and a woman he can't stop watching and coming in contact with.
Daisy Diaz is a woman Flynn has never experienced before. She seems to touch something deep in him, causing him to make a pact with her that will save Daisy's career and status in the US.

What starts out as a "fake marriage for a green card", turns into a stealth romance between the two of them.

OMFG... This is so much fun and sexy as hell. I couldn't stop reading it, wanting to know the outcome. This series of Winslows is fun, fun, fun.

Married in Vegas for a green card!

The following ratings are out of 5:
    Romance: 🖤💙❤️💜
    Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
    Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
    World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍
    Character development: 🙂🥰☺️😎🤣
    Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
    Narration type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Daisy Diaz - she grew up in Vancouver, Canada in the foster care system. She is an interior designer who has always dreamed of working in the real estate industry. A little over a year ago, she got a job with one of the most prominent real estate moguls in the industry, with offices in a few different cities including Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas. She loves her job, especially when her boss pays for her flight and hotel on a trip from L.A. to Las Vegas.

The Hero: Flynn Winslow - he lives and works in New York but also has a home in Las Vegas. When his brother gets engaged, he and his three brothers get a penthouse hotel room and have a multi-day bachelor party in Vegas. Flynn doesn’t talk much, and he doesn’t drink as much as his brothers, so he sort of plays the designated straight man, to their drunken silliness.

The Story: Flynn and his brothers see Daisy at the casino as soon as she arrives in Vegas, and they have a memorable first meeting. Later, when she is at a work party hosted by her boss, she checks her email and finds out that she has mistakenly let her visa lapse. She freaks out and ends up getting a ride on the back of Flynn’s motorcycle. They later end up getting married. They are complete opposites, Daisy is outgoing, vivacious and rarely shuts up, while Flynn is silent, dark and broody.

I love the married in Vegas trope. This one was different than most in that it wasn’t a drunken accidental marriage, but a purposeful marriage of convenience for a green card. Of course, the two main characters think getting married and living apart will be an easy thing. But the reader can tell from the start that things won’t go so smoothly. I quite liked the story and the progression of the relationship between these two characters.

There was a bit too much rumination on the fact that Daisy was lying to everyone. I actually liked the fact that she has an anxious personality and Flynn was really good at calming her down. I got a bit tired of her constantly worrying about the fact that their marriage was fake. Though overall, I really did like the story and the characters.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Troy Duran and Avery Reed. I like both of these narrators quite a bit. Troy Duran has a deep and sexy voice which is perfect for Flynn. Avery Reed has a clear, feminine voice and is great at sounding nervous, so she worked well for Daisy.

    Daisy + Flynn

All four Winslow brothers are in Vegas for Jude's Bachelor weekend. Flynn is the only sober one ... and he has to be ... to stop his idiot brothers from doing anything too stupid.
But his brother-babysitting ends once he meets Daisy.
The beautiful girl they first saw at the slot machine having the time of her life...
Now she's running out of the hotel and jumping on the back of Flynn's bike.
What happened? And why are we finding ourselves at a wedding chapel only hours later?? And sober too!

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN! 🤣

    Adorable & hilarious!

    Vegas, baby!
Flynn is not a fan - of the drunken, stripclub, non-stop partying weekend.
But he is a fan of rescuing this beautiful damsel in distress.
So adorable! Because he is not this guy. He's the silent observer in his family. His siblings even think he might be in the CIA! LOL!
Daisy just landed her dream job a year ago and now everything is about to go up in flames. But of course our hero Flynn will save her.
    I just loved reading this.
Flynn and Daisy are so adorable together - such complete opposites - but just perfect for each other!
We have so many hilarious moments and sweet and cute moments and some verry sexxay moments!

Great 2nd Winslow book! Can't wait for Ty's story next!

And still I'm asking myself: How are none of Max Monroe's books streaming their behinds off on Netflix yet?? The world is a weird and sad place!!

THE PACT was another hilarious and adorable and sexxy Max Monroe Rom-Com! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Flynn - he'll be sold out in no time!

3.5 stars - the FTB scenes killed it for me

Look. I get it. Books need to have plots;, they need to have substance and not just smutty scenes, but when the h is CONSTANTLY referring to the “best sex of her life”, one we never saw, you can imagine how frustrating it can be😑, and that’s what ended up lowering my enjoyment of the book. On top of the fact that ALL the smexxy scenes were FTB. Every. Single. One😐.

This is only my second full length book by MM; I read The Bet last year and I loooved it (side note- I went through it after finishing this one, and we actually have complete smutty scenes in it). What’s disappointing in The Pact is that Flynn has a DUUUURTY mouth- and it always leads to smexxy times, smexxy times that become FTB.

Let me get to the plot. Daisy’s (29) Canadian and her work visa expired 45 days ago. She never saw the mail notifying her of it and now she’s panicking. She’s in Las Vegas for a work function and is happily playing the slot machines when she sees these handsome men- one of them ends up giving her a $500 chip. When one of her colleagues flirts with her and won’t leave her alone while she’s dealing with the work visa news, she runs out of the hotel and into the back of Flynn’s (41) motorcycle.

“You just said you’d marry me, and you don’t even know me. How does that make any sense?”
He shrugs. “Because you don’t need a husband. You need a green card. And I don’t have any plans to have a real wife.”
    “You don’t even really speak.”
He shrugs. “You talk enough for the both of us.”

She tells him about her visa expiring and he quickly proposes a pact to her. He’ll marry her so that she can remain working in the country. They get married, consummate their marriage, and leave their weekend of wedded bliss to get to their normal lives- hers in LA and his in NY. Problem? In order to prove that they married for non convenience purposes, they have to live together 😬. Let the moving/forced proximity begin 😅.

    What I liked- (possible spoilers)
—The duuuurty talk (which led to closed doors). Flynn has a 🥵🔥 mouth 👀💦. Daisy gets anxious and he f**** her to calm her down

“So, I’m thinking the only way to make that happen is to f*ck the anxiety right out of you… Do you think I’m right, Daisy?” I ask her. “Do you think you need me to f*ck the anxiety right out of you?”

—The side characters- omg I just love reading the sibling thread!!! They’re all so hilarious 😂😂😂. I also loved it in book one lol.
—Flynn’s love of pleasing his woman 😉🥵

“I’m going to tongue you so deep, I’ll remember the taste of you every time I eat in this kitchen.”🔥

—Flynn becomes so swoony as the book progresses even though he remains stoic and austere many times (he’s a man of a few words)
    —the sexting

Me: If I were with you right now, where would you want my big c0ck? Between your pretty lips or inside your wet c***?
    Daisy: Both
Me: I need you to do something for me right now, babe.
    Daisy: What?
Me: Slide your hand down your belly, beneath your panties, and push one finger inside your c*** so you can tell me how wet you are.

—The times I smiled (never did I cackle or die laughing though)
—Jude and Sophie (book 1) getting ready for their wedding
—The lack of protection 😉👀 which means I ❤️d…
    —the surprise pregnancy 👀😉

    What I didn’t like/wanted more of
—obviously, the FTB scenes. Not once did poor Flynn finish (I don’t know how she got pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️we never saw 🥛💦 lol)
—if something is constantly being referred to (in Daisy’s case it’s the wedding night sex), you best believe we should see why it was the best night of her life
—the guys going to Las Vegas and being around all these strippers. I’m sorry. I don’t consider strip clubs a fun time. All of this is before Flynn and Daisy meet and luckily Jude wore a blindfold so he wouldn’t be accused of being tempted, but I found myself being irked
—SO WHY GO??? This reminds me of the stupid prequel where Remy’s at his bachelor party and there’s a stripper all over him and he’s uncomfortable and she’s rubbing her mostly naked self on him (and then his fiancé doesn’t show up for the wedding)
-how quickly Flynn said he would marry Daisy. Um… you don’t know much about each other. This needed to be fleshed out more
    —the FTB scenes
—more angst/push pull from Daisy and Flynn
    —the FTB scenes
—more chemistry- because Flynn’s so serious, I would’ve liked him to reveal his feelings through body language showing how much he actually wants/cares for Daisy (like a jaw tick here, eyes running up and down there, etc )
    —the FTB scenes. Poor Flynn
—the telling of what’s going to happen/happened already instead of showing us

I liked it but not as much as I could’ve. I’m wondering if The Secret is the same 😑😑

    ⚠️safety squad⚠️
    -FTBBBBBBB warning
    -no cheating/sharing/owd/omd
-H hasn’t been with anyone in months. Sex has become boring to him. The h hasn’t been with anyone in a long time as well
-no condoms/they’re both clean/she’s on the shot
    -praise kink

    This was my first
Max Monroe book and it certainly isn't going to be the last. I didn't read the first book in the series because quite frankly, the plot of this book was quite appealing to me and it had everything I expected a marriage of convenience book to have! Flynn & Daisy had amazing chemistry, their mutual understanding and playful relationship was really entertaining and I absolutely loved them together.

"She doesn’t seem to have a care in the world—a lone wolf in a sea of sheep that are worried about what other people think. Frankly, she’s a breath of fresh air."

Flynn was reserved, quite and a man of few words, but man his dirty talk game was on point. I was totally shocked when he revealed that side to Daisy because gah that was totally hot! Daisy on the other hand was so talkitive that she could carry an entire conversation on her own. She was Flynn's total opposite in every sense of way and that's what drew them towards each other.

"Flynn Winslow is a man of his word. And he’s also a man I’m always desperate to find out more things about. Things that no one else knows. Only me."

Daisy & Flynn got to know each other so well in a short amount of time and that's what made their marriage seem real. Deep down they knew that they weren't pretending to be in love anymore because they had already fallen for each other. It was just a matter of who would confess it first. Overall, I liked the story and the side characters, the Winslow brothers were so funny and I loved their bond. The second youngest brother aka Ty's story is coming up next but I'm more excited to read Remy's book though.

  • Danielle (The Blonde Likes Books)

3 stars for the first half, 5 stars for the second half!

I felt like some of the events in the first half of the book felt a little sudden in a way that was jarring. When the first sex scene hit I was taken by surprise because it felt like there hadn't been enough tension or build up between the characters, so it felt like it happened quickly.

There was also a small storyline with a coworker that had been hitting on Daisy for a while and it didn't end up going anywhere, so it felt sort of random. For the most part, all of these things happened in the first half of the book. In the second half, the book transitioned into Daisy and Flynn's relationship and found its footing, and I really enjoyed that, so what I thought was going to be a 3 star book bumped up to 4.

    LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!

I adore this writing duo with their hilarious super sexy books.

Flynn and Daisy are going to easily go on my top 5 favorite couples list. These two characters are great by themselves but even better together. They balance each other out so well and their chemistry is off the charts HOT!!

I have a bunch of highlights marked but I could have at least twice as many if I would have allowed myself to simply go crazy. The humor in this book is absolutely my kind of humor.

This book was entertaining from start to finish!

  • Serialbookstarter:Marla

Flynn rescues Daisy in Vegas, takes her for a bike ride and then marries her so that she can get her green card. She’s sunshine and he appears grumpy but he’s really not.

  • Jeeves Reads Romance

    Loved it

Easily this writing duo's best release of 2021, this green card marriage romance is both hilarious and hot. It's got some sizzling chemistry, and this couple is GREAT together. The further I got into the book, the more I loved it - this leads with the lust before slowly transitioning into the love, and the hero at the heart of it definitely won me over. I'll openly admit that I was exceedingly disappointed in The Bet, the introduction to the Winslow Brothers, and I was not looking forward to the sequel. A group of fortyish, commitment-phobic brothers was not at all appealing to me, and I went into this with some serious hesitation. My doubts were quickly and thoroughly put to rest - this was EXCELLENT.

The story follows Flynn, a 41-year-old guy who is happy living the single life. He has no plans to ever marry, and he's perfectly content to remain a bit of a mystery to everyone. But when Flynn meets a sexy stranger in Vegas, she is a whirlwind. Only hours after meeting Daisy (29), Flynn finds himself proposing a no strings attached, green card marriage to help the Canadian woman stay in the country. Neither one really thinks beyond the moment, and it's not long before they're giving into their lust. Except... there are always strings attached in a marriage, and certainly one that the couple will need to prove authentic to the government.

This is the return of the MM that I love - steamy, fun, easy, and playful romance. Their last few releases have been very uneven for me, so I was delighted to discover just how good this was. Flynn makes a MUCH better hero than anticipated; he's the strong and silent type, speaking more in the bedroom than anywhere else and acting as the steady rock to Daisy's wild storm. He calms her chaos in some *ahem* unexpected ways. The opposites attract dynamic was so fun to read, and it was easy to see how well they complemented each other. I love it when a couple just seems to FIT together, and these two were perfect. While their connection leads with the physical side of things, it's the emotional connection that shines by the end. This was a low angst, sexy treat, and here's hoping that the next brother's story is just as much fun.

  • Shannon

This was so much fun! A STEAMY, marriage of convenience between practical strangers. Lots of tropes here too: grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, surprise pregnancy, 'fake' relationship, etc. I liked that it was dual POV and really enjoyed all the big Winslow brothers family scenes. Great on audio and now I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released in audiobook format!

  • Mel (whilemelwasreading)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “For better or for worse and until Daisy gets a green card, Mr. and Mrs. Winslow, here we come.”

    What You’ll Find:
    ✔️Romantic Comedy
    ✔️Marriage of Convenience
    ✔️Opposites Attract
    ✔️Steam Packed
    ✔️Dual POV

The Pact is the perfect fun and steamy follow up in this hilarious Winslow brothers series!

Not everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. When Daisy finds herself marrying a stranger just 3 hours after hopping on the back of his bike, in hopes to save her job, she has no idea what’s to come. Including a cross country move to live with her mysterious fake husband. And real feelings she told herself wouldn’t happen in their no strings, 3 month marriage arrangement.

Jude, move over. There’s a hotter brother in town. I don’t think I can say it enough times. I loved this hero. I loved him. I literally LOVED him. I have a hero type. It’s strong and silent. A man of few words. But means what he does say. Sweet and sexy. Attentive, in all the ways. But can dirty talk too. And that is Flynn to a tee. But where he is calm and cool as a cucumber, Daisy is a wild ball of nerves and restless energy! She did enough jabbering for the two of them and then some. But gosh did I love her too.

These two had some serious chemistry. And it gets HOT. Some of the sexy scenes fade out, but even the ones that do are sexy. The newspaper scene for one... (*fans self* thinking about it). That scene will live rent free in my head thank you very much. The humour really had me. The way the authors described scenes, like the ‘grinch’ one, had me cracking up. These brothers, and their hilarious antics, I couldn’t help but enjoy. There were some really sweet moments as well. That epilogue had me laughing and crying. It was perfectly beautiful.

At times it felt young (which I typically don’t like) but I had so much fun reading this, I didn’t care. I really loved it. And I look forward to reading more from these sexy brothers! Though it’s going to be tough to beat my love for Flynn. If your looking for a fun and sexy read, read this!

“The truth is, I think I fell in love with Daisy the first moment I saw her. Some part of me offered to save her because, deep down, I knew she’d save me.”

*Thank you to the author and That’s What She Said Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

  • Priya Shrinath

The Pact follows Daisy's sudden, unbelievably quick marriage to hot stranger Flynn after she discovers her Visa has expired and she can no longer live/work in the United States.

Everything about this book is quick. From Daisy and Flynn's first meet to their next chance encounter which ends up with their marriage and there after Daisy's stay at Flynn's Vegas house. You know how it would end, their marriage night. Yes, hot sex obviously! Can't deny their attraction for each other. Otherwise, why would these two attractive young people agree to such a reckless act at a moment's notice?!

Daisy is a character that's written to make you fall in love. She's a Canadian, an orphan who grew up with foster parents and thriving on her own as a successful designer. She talks a lot and makes reckless decisions all the time, including marrying a complete stranger, then going home with her and having sex!! All the while nothing about this person. Not even his last name. If you're shocked by this, wait till she continues to live with it, with Flynn in his house and sleeps with him and slowly starts falling in love.

When I opened this book, the authors had promised some really hot steamy scenes and promises of multiple book orgasms because of that. And my expectations of this book rose up a notch!! Did the book deliver? Sadly, no. As I said, everything was so quick. Just as the scene starts getting hotter, all the mood set, the characters in place, the author ends the scene abruptly and I found myself getting disappointed and hoped there will be more scenes to come, that will actually explore the pasion. But none came. All those build ups and imagination and I did not get one full length sex scene. Heavy sigh.

I am not a reader who digs deep into logic and reality in a fiction, especially when it's categorised as rom-com. This book though, left me wondering why would the author deliver so little of everything, when the expectations were set so high. I'm sad that I had to continue reading the book only because I had spent so much time on it and would not quit it now. Sad, really.

  • Raine

    Better than the first book!!!

I liked this book sooooooo much more than the first book in the series. I love how Flynn is quiet and mysterious and how Daisy talks a lot, especially when she gets nervous. They have such opposite personalities, yet they complement each other perfectly.

The story was interesting and fun. I was engaged and invested throughout the entire book. This will definitely be a reread for me. Highly recommended!

I can't wait for the next book with Flynn's brother, Ty.

  • Gretchen

The Pact was so freaking entertaining with awesome humor and a great mix of sweet and sexy. I loved learning all about the mysterious Flynn and the outgoing and verbally delightful Daisy. I loved their pact about the fake marriage and watching them fall in love. This was just the best, I loved it all!

Daisy was fantastic. She's a bold spitfire and I loved how she could awkwardly ramble and have this verbal spillage that was so amusing. I loved Flynn. The strong, silent ones always get me. He seemed so secretive and I loved getting to know him. He was so kind and sweet with the biggest heart. I loved Daisy and Flynn meeting from their very first look to the moment she takes his hand and everything really starts. They had so much chemistry and an undeniable connection. I enjoyed learning about Daisy's past and the reason why the wedding pact was taking place. Their relationship had a wonderful build and the heat between them was phenomenal. Beyond the heat, I loved the moments when their real feelings started to shine through and the fake started to become real. There was a lot of emotion involved and it made my heart melt.

There was an excellent cast of characters thanks to their family and friends. The Winslow brothers are a trip and they make me so happy. This is a family I want to hang out with. I love the bonds they have and their crazy moments together. I loved how the women involved embraced Daisy and invited her into the fold.

This was a fun and engaging story that had me hooked the entire time. There was never a time I wanted to put my Kindle down. There were so many well-thought-out scenes that had me smiling and giggling but really pulled at my heartstrings too. This story was totally entertaining and laugh-out-loud funny. I can’t wait for more in the Winslow Brothers series!

  • Gianna

Quiet but genuine guy + bubbly and chatty girl = AMAZING romance!! Loved this book so much and actually laughed out loud so many times. I'm obsessed with this series and can't wait for The Secret!

  • Carolyn

    In Like Flynn

The Pact is the second installment in the Winslow Brothers series. Flynn is the second oldest, most pragmatic, quietest brother with a hidden filthy side he unleashes in the bedroom.
Daisy was a hot mess. She gets herself in a jam, decides to flee and jumps on Flynn’s motorcycle asking for a ride.

Only way I can categorize this book is as a strangers to lovers tale told in dual POV. Daisy dominates the narrative and a little too repetitive with her inner dialogue. I personally would have loved to hear more of Flynn’s thoughts and recollections.

Flynn & Daisy are lava level steamy. Ty’s story is next. However, after Flynn, I’m most intrigued by Remy and how he finds his forever love.

  • Sheri

OMG, get this book now because it's freaking awesome! I liked book 1 of this series, but I loved book 2! I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It's my first 5 star read of the year (ok, I've only read 10 books, but still...) And it's free on Kindle Unlimited!

Flynn is the broody, quiet Winslow. He's the polar opposite of his brother Jude, who starred in book 1. Flynn's in Vegas for Jude's bachelor party and seems a woman running toward him - a woman he met earlier in the day. He offers her a ride on his bike and his life changes forever.

The woman, Daisy. Well, she's a breath of fresh air. I absolutely loved her character. She's someone who came from literally nothing to make her self into something. She's a talker; she's funny and sweet and kind. She's who you'd want as your friend.

I wish we'd gotten a little bit more of Flynn's take in this book; I'd say it was 60/40 Daisy and I would have preferred 50/50. I would have liked to know what make Flynn tick - why he's so brooding and quiet but at the same time, I feel for him just as hard as Daisy. He was a really great character as well.

The Winslow family is hilarious and doesn't disappoint. I'm hoping Ty's book is next - he cracks me up. Do yourself a favor and read both books in the series because they are great; especially this one!

When Daisy is in Vegas for a work conference, she is notified that her work visa has expired as of a couple months ago and now she’s royally screwed. Daisy is in a panic, flees her obligations and runs right into Flynn Winslow who’s in Vegas for his brother’s bachelor party. And as if he’s the answer to all Daisy’s prayers, he offers to marry her to keep her from being sent back to Canada.

After saying “I do”, Flynn & Daisy part ways, but not before spending one sexy night together. Daisy goes back to LA and Flynn to NYC, thinking their marriage would be in name only. But when they go to renew Daisy’s visa, they realize things aren’t so simple. Daisy needs to live with Flynn in his state of residence—and with him—ASAP.

Being under one roof together, things heat up between Flynn & Daisy. What started out as a marriage pact turned into something neither of them expected. And when their time is up, Daisy isn’t so sure she’s ready to leave Flynn & go back to her life in LA…

The Pact by Max Monroe is book 2 in the Winslow Brothers series. I really enjoyed Daisy & Flynn’s opposites attract, marriage of convenience, forced proximity romance. It was the perfect mix of spicy, fun and tender-hearted. I liked it equally as much as The Bet (book 1) and I can’t wait to read about more of the Winslow brothers! 4/5 stars.

This one is a Hilarious, Fun filled party with a Hot-will-melt-your-panties Hero and a heroine whose banter will keep you in constant laughter mode😍😍😍

I had such a blast reading this one. Like Insta smiling and consta laughing kinda. Daisy is the kind of adorable girl that is crazy yet funny at the same time.

She finds her perfect match in Flynn, the man is so freaking hot in his entire personality, the way he carries himself, he can literally melt panties off any woman. But freaking daisy gets to be that woman and I'm oh so jealous of her.

What starts off as a random Stanger helping out another random stranger ends up into becoming so much more. But trust me, no need to read the blurb here. Just dive in straight if you want to have a f*ucking amazing time with a story that's funny and melting hot and exciting and will leave you feeling all swoony and gooey and happy and all that amazing stuff.

I WANT ME A HUSBAND LIKE FLYNN-F*UCKING-WINSLOW. THE WAY HE EXUDES CHARM & SEXINESS WITH A EASE AS IF IT'S HIS NATURAL PERFUME AND THE WAY HE IS ALWAYS WITH DAISY. THAT MAN HAD ME FANNING MYSELF AND SWOONING LIKE CRAZY. 😍😍🔥🔥.

Also I loved loved Flynn's crazy amazing family and daisy's boss slash friend and foster mom slash friend.

Ahh..what a crazy, amazing ride this one was. Loved loved freaking loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    5✨ book 2 (my favorite)
“there will be a night, though. one wild, unexpected night in a seemingly predictable life where you, my sweet boy, will make a pact with a stranger from which there will be great consequence.”

can you imagine achieving the job of your dreams and then forgetting about the date you need to renew your expired visa? well... i wouldn't want to be daisy - our main character - but thank god she is crazy enough to come up with a plan to not be deported to canada.

the plan? marrying the stranger she just met outside her hotel in las vegas... thank god flynn winslow likes woman who doesn't shut the fuck up for a second <3

you don't understand how i felt with this book. i couldn't stop reading. when i saw... i was already at 90% and i didn't even feel! max and monroe writing are amazing! and i just can't stop saying it... and they even wrote about one of my favorites plots! (marriage in vegas)

"the pact" is about finding love when you least expect - literally. flynn is extremely logical and daisy just need someone who is willing to give her a green card... i mean... a pair made from heaven.

the opposite personalities in here just made so much sense: him with everything being methodic, what time he wakes up, what he is gonna eat, where to go, that is... until daisy enters his life. she is loud, messy, forget everything and is always tripping on her own foot. but. they. just. make. sense.

other thing... the smut? if i thought "the bet" was hot...... just go change your panties before and after reading "the pact", that's for sure. also i have been loving how the authors has been leading the storyline with the fortune teller thing (each brother received a message about their love lives).

please, trust me, and just go read this book <3

    - marriage in vegas 🎰
    - marriage of convenience 💍

I loved diving into a different Winslow brothers story!!

Flynn was mysterious & handsome… a deadly combo 😏 Daisy was quirky and wild, and lowkey annoying but she was cute so it made up for it!

I felt like I was taken on this fun journey and I didn’t know where it would lead…until the happy ever after of course!

Great audio to listen to and I’m ready for the next!!

    Tropes:
    One bed
    Forced proximity
Fake relationship / marriage of convenience
    Grumpy x sunshine
    Opposites attract

The Winslow brothers are back and yes, they have landed in Vegas for a bachelor party. I just love these brothers and the women that fall into their world. Now let's meet Flynn Winslow. He is the reserved brother; he enjoys his privacy and order. While in Vegas a chatty, fun-loving woman catches his eye. Her bouncy girls, childlike innocence and good-hearted enthusiasm captures more than his attention. It is a brief meeting at the slot machine but fate has so much more for them.
Daisy is strong, resilient, independent and always tries to make the best of any situation. She is a designer from Canada living in LA and has a work visa that may have just expired. She is living her dream and designing for one of the top companies in the country but it may all come crashing down if she is deported. Think Daisy !!!
Daisy is at her wits end standing outside all the glitter and glam that Vegas has to offer and all she can see is the handsome man on the Harley. She needs a ride and he offers, now that my friends is the beginning of the adventure of a lifetime for these opposites.
This is a marriage of convivence, a business arrangement, opposites attract and a relationship with sizzling chemistry. You will laugh out loud, swoon and be fanning yourself and it won't be from the Vegas heat. Flynn is quite the strong silent type but with his minimal words he lets his actions do all the talking ! Falling in love was never so much fun! Get ready to enjoy the ride with Daisy and Flynn!

4.5⭐️ This is the second book in the Winslow Brother’s collection and while it can be read as a stand-alone, the main characters in first are strong supporting characters, so knowing the context behind all the brother talk and family banter is worth it! This series follows four tight-knit brothers who all have some major emotional baggage when it comes to women. Each brother, in some capacity, has that alpha male personality that brings all the spontaneous, sexy and entertaining vibes. However, when they each start top open their hearts to love, we see a soft side that brings all the feels.

When Daisy finds out her working visa is expiring, Flynn Winslow comes to her rescue and agrees on a marriage pact with no strings attached. Having to show immigration proof of their relationship these two go from strangers to roommates in the matter of weeks, and I was all here for the forced proximity/ one bedroom. Daisy was a fabulous FMC and such a breath of fresh air. I loved her constant energy, stream of internal thoughts and her growth as a character. Meanwhile, Flynn was the complete opposite, a man of few words, though there wasn’t one bad thing to say about him! Seriously he was loyal, sincere and the rock that Daisy always needed but never truely had. Just like the first book, the Winslow family moments are just the best!

    What to expect
    -Vegas marriage of convienence
    -“Fake” relationship
    -Opposites attract
    -Laugh out loud humor
    -NYC setting
    -Forced proximity
    -Dual POVs
    -Brother banter
    -Very spicy open door scenes

“You can’t seem to calm down, and in order to sleep—which I haven’t been able to do in two fucking nights thanks to babysitting my drunken brigade of brothers—I need you to.” His voice rumbles and rasps in the most delicious way, like it’s my own personal ASMR soundtrack, only suited to what triggers my desires. “So, I’m thinking the only way to make that happen is to fuck the anxiety right out of you.”

Flynn Winslow! Omg the sexy Winslow who doesn’t say much but when he does, it’s fuckin’ HOT as hell and dirrrrrrtyyyy as SIN. Help me, Lord. 🥵🥵🥵

And Daisy Diaz, sweet sweet crazy talking foot in her mouth Daisy. Love these two perfect opposites together!

Tropes in this wonderful book include: Vegas wedding, marriage of convenience, one bed only, grumpy (more like reserved/sarcastic/taciturn) hero/sunshine heroine. So if any of these are your jam, what are you waiting for? 💯💯💯

Another fun and sexy Max Monroe Vegas romp! The Winslow Brothers series is quickly turning into a new favorite- it’s laugh out loud fun, heartfelt, full of playful flirty and Max Monroesque antics, and highly entertaining.

The Winslow brothers are out in fine form in Vegas for a bachelor party- when Flynn crosses paths with the chatty, outgoing cutie playing slots. The stoic, reserved Flynn couldn’t be more different than the delightful Daisy- but her situation isn’t just fun and Vegas games. She’s facing major immigration issues that risk her job and home in LA- and is facing a forced return to Canada. And in the most uncharacteristic move ever, prince Flynn rides in on his motorcycle to save the day- with a fake marriage pact that gets her a much needed green card. But these two have CHEMISTRY- and this fake marriage starts to blur as they start to develop REAL feelings.

I just loved both of these characters- and their fun contrasts. Daisy is a bundle of bright effervescence- a loquacious, bubbly, energetic ray of sunshine. Her awkward rambling had me chuckling, but also made her even more endearing. I liked that she has a lightness to her and a seriousness, too- she’s substantive and likable. And she’s paired with the most stoic, straight-laced Winslow brother, the mysterious, perhaps even dubiously connected to the CIA-brother. But man is a SEXY- yet another MM dirty talking alpha. I loved how Daisy awakened him, and their spark sizzles. They have some real steamy moments, but I also loved how their relationship deepened as the pages turned - the ended up showing up for each other and balancing each other in really sweet and fulfilling ways. And I just loved them together.

We have a few bumps, of course, but plenty of laughs and steam to balance out their journey to the HEA. And of course, so much witty banter keeps us smiling along the way. Loving this family of super sexy brothers - heart, heat, feels, and humor, the very best of authors Max Monroe!

Holy, hilarious hotness, Max Monroe!! The Pact was everything I have come to know and love from my favorite romcom queens, yet this one was even HOTTER! Seriously, Flynn Winslow may be my new absolute dream man. Who knew a broody man of so few words, could a be such a downright dominate, swoon-worthy lover!

The Pact sucked me in right from the start and refused to let me go until Flynn and Daisy found their HEA. This book is a complete stand alone, but is best if you read The Bet first. Out of the four Winslow Brothers, Flynn is the quiet more reserved brother. However, when Flynn sets his eyes on Daisy in Vegas, there is this instant, undeniable attraction. Daisy is such a complex character and is consumed by work as an interior designer (hello dream job) and ends up missing an important detail on her work visa that will allow her to remain in the US. In comes Flynn on his manly motorcycle to sweep her off her feet and make an alluring marriage pact that could possibly be the answer to all her troubles.

Overall, I loved this book! If you adore a marriage of convenience story with a super hot silent alpha, an outspoken sassy female, catching up with all our favorite Winslows at family dinner, witty and flirty text banter, a Vegas wedding, New York City, a quirky supportive boss, lots and lots of steamy times, tons of laugh out loud moments, and the sweetest, make-your-heart-so-happy HEA, then you love everything about Flynn and Daisy and adore their crazy, fun, and sexy romance! Max Monroe prove once again why they are one of my favorites!
