As a self taught beader I usually stick to my simple and standard projects, but I found this book to be a quick and easy read. I am inspired to try new things, especially wire work. There were also a couple of tricks that I didn't know about and some nice clarification too. There probably isn't any ground breaking info in here. But I would definitely recommend this book for a beginner or ever someone more advanced that is looking to try on new projects.

While this is a lovely book with detailed pictures, it does not have any trade secrets or indispensable tips for most people with even limited beading experience. If you are a complete newbie, then yes, you will find it invaluable! O/w you are unlikely to find anything here beyond the basics which you should have already learned elsewhere or simply figured out yourself during practical experience.

The photographs are great. The content is very informative and easy to understand but there's nothing here that hasn't been said before. I like the layout, and the information is worthwhile. I especially liked the wirework section.
