Poinsettia the pig thinks the house she lives in would be perfect without her six noisy, messy, always-in-the-way brothers and sisters—until they do leave. ‘A warm, childlike story [with] thoroughly engaging and believable porcine characters.’ —H. A Reading Rainbow Selection
Poinsettia and Her Family Reviews
-
A childhood favorite, Poinsettia and Her Family was the book I read over and over again, wishing for my own window seat where the sunlight melts like butter over a warm cusion.
-
An interesting storyline with a scratchy, bad tempered heroine. This book inspired my love of window seats and building cubby-houses out of two doors, a rope and a blanket. The pictures are amazingly cute and beautifully drawn.
