The Mark of Nimueh (The Adventures of Merlin 1, #3) Reviews

I really enjoyed this book, especially with the extra details that didn't show up in the episode.
There were a few grammatical errors in the book bit that didn't detract from the enjoyableness of the read. -
As a long time fan of the show, this was really fun to read :) I don't like to use the words guilty pleasure, but if I had to choose mine, it would be TV series tie-ins, just like this one. There's something I really like in reading the novelization of my favourite shows, even though it's not a regular book.

Fun to read as a cozy reminder of the film but found the writing style not quite up to scratch and some things they’d tried to add in didn’t quite work for the characters. Rated mostly for fondness of it but think more effort could have been put into the production of the book.

The Mark of Nimeuh is a novelisation of the Merlin tv episode of the same name.
As with the other novelisation of Merlin episodes this is a straight retelling of the tv episode in prose form.
The book is well written and is rather pacy and is a pretty good version of the story which I believe works as a story in its own right.
If you fancy short, fantasy books then why not give this a try, even if you have never seen the tv series this is based upon, you might even want to go and catch it after reading this! -
This book/episode is leading up to one of my favorites. I love ......the poisoned chalice, which turns out my copy of that just arrived today XD eep!!
but anyway, I liked being in the head of the baddie again and Nimueh is so much cooler then the old lady in The Dragon's call or Valiant. and there were more scenes written than just the scenes in the episode which was really really cool. -
not the best book i have ever read but good
