Daufuskie Island Reviews
-
I find these photographs very inspiring on different levels, especially when knowing some of the story behind them. I was privileged to have the opportunity to interview the photographer and spend the better part of an hour chatting with her after listening to her lecture. She is an amazing person and so is her work.

Knowing that these photos were taken when I was alive and of a culture that no longer exists really makes this a hard hitting book with a strong impact. An inspiring work. I would love to have met these people.
