Two teddy bears have a confusing time trying to find out about each other
The Idle Bear Reviews
-
After
reading A Bear Tale a few days ago, I acquired the book before it in the series, this one; not that they are particularly related.
Another subtle and beautiful little book by
Robert Ingpen, lots of pictures of teddies, though little else. Another philosophical outing, on the nature of where bears come from, what it's like to be old with no growl, and where on earth have the owners been for the last few decades anyway?
"I'm full of straw," announced Teddy.
Ted ignored that. It sounded reasonable and anyhow he was probably full of straw too if they were related. But then scarecrows and cushions are full of straw and the thought of being related to a cushion annoyed him.

If Waiting for Godot were a picturebook, it would probably be this.
