Dans ce volume on en apprend un peu plus sur l’étrange et iconoclaste docteur Asada qui dirigeait jadis une équipe fabuleuse de docteurs nommée « Team Medical Dragon ». Indépendant et refusant toute forme d’autorité, il avait été licencié après avoir désobéi à l’ordre d’un supérieur. Ce dernier s’est débrouillé pour qu’il ne puisse plus retrouver d’emploi dans un autre hôpital. Si Asada a accepté de reformer la Team Medical Dragon à la demande du docteur Katou, c’est donc uniquement pour retrouver un statut de médecin et non pour pouvoir réaliser une opération qui lui apporterait gloire et reconnaissance. Le voilà donc en quête des personnalités les plus diverses, talentueuses mais intègres, a fin de reformer sa Team. Mais qui va-t-il choisir ? À la manière des 7 Mercenaires, ce volume présente de manière savoureuse les premiers futurs membres de l’équipe.

    Gee, Doctor we cannot shock the patient-the defib machine is not working and they took the only AED we had in house to the CPR class at the other campus. Dammit nurse-give me something to work with here! Wheel the patient STAT to the ambulance bay and I will pull up my porscheferrerivet! How is that going to help the patient doctor?
    Dammit nurse-just busy yourself with that STAT foley catheter-while I ZOOM to the rescue! Here, put these wires to the patient's chest and hold my lab coat over them--it will protect you. I will then just mach up my car's Horsepower, and crank that old heart of his right up!
    Doctor-was this emergent procedure something you read in the latest ER Journal? No, you silly nurse-I saw it my newest manga title!!!

    NURSE GETS SHOCKED........

    I laughed for minutes, when I saw the panels. It just crazy! I do enjoy this doctor fighting for patient rights, and shows empathy to them as humans.
