Nine-year-old Amanda is a lonely girl who would love nothing more than to have a pet to play with and show off to her few but fickle friends. When her mother finally agrees, Amanda chooses a ferret and names it Peach. Amanda finally has something no one at school has! There are just two big Amanda has to care for Peach, and Peach cannot bite her ever. When prissy Peach sees Amanda's hands--a five-headed monster, in the eyes of a tiny ferret with a princess complex--she bites in defense! What will Amanda do now? Grand Prize winner of TOKYOPOP’s Rising Stars of Manga competition, artists Lindsay Cibos and Jared Hodges have created a fun and charming tale, which teaches us that all friends are hard to understand...especially furry ones who like to bite your fingers.
Peach Fuzz Reviews

It was fine. I read this to convince my stepdaughter that the ferret on the cover isn't creepy.

An American manga about a ferret princess. It's cute and I have fun reading it, but it's obviously aimed towards children. And well, you know, it's an American manga.
