Living with Honour Reviews

Mr. Shiv Khera's book Living with Honour came just to my hand accidentally. Few days back then I was just into my brothers room to fill my boredom and so, my love for books brought me at once near his little book shelf. There were books all messed up here and there but at once my hand reach on this book Living with Honour and quickly I looked what it was all about, when I found out soon that it was a self-help book, my interest faded out slowly because I always hate reading self-help books for what god only knows. As I hated self-help books so I never completed even a book till now. Therefor, this time I decided not to Place this back till I do with it fully if not with love then forcefully but then it was not how I thought. It really is for self-help in a complete package, and I thought why this type of book didn't came to me before but as someone rightly said, better late than never. so, it doesn't matter. I really think Mr. Shev Khera is a modern Napoleon Hill and his books are really inspiring and helpful for to success. They are really wholesome so, I though of reading all his 16 books slowly.
About this one that I just finish reading, its really good one about living with homour by means of truth, compassion and justice around.
Character, Courage and Competence are three major subject the book mostly deals about because they are important for our success according to the author in the book. and there are also lot about building and maintaining our honour through good deeds and how little influence could defame our honour.
I really enjoyed with this book.

After reading the first few pages, I had formed an opinion about the book and it did not cross the expectations. It describes about various issues and problems that one can face that may lead you to go against ethics or laws or your own self-esteem. It fundamentally discerns the concept of being honorable and being honored. And taking this as a base the author Shiv Khera talks about various practical examples.

If you are not bored of the review yet, you make it book just fine. And if you are bored then it can't possibly be a good read for you.

I found the book to fairly good. I would rate it 2.5 stars. The author makes a statement, describes it and supports it a short example, a poem, an excerpt from third party source(with reference of course) or a quote. Such writing style is common for this genre. I liked the anonymous poems and did not like some unnecessary repetitions in some cases.

In spite of such a low rating, I will recommend this book to everyone for even a minor influence of this book can make a lot difference.
