Too much insta.
I like when a story have background, it can be insta, but not out of the blue, like this one.
It's sweet, sexy, fun, but just didn't work out for me.

I love stepbrother so I had to grab this . Loved Chase & Emma’s chemistry from the start and I really enjoyed their story , Julie never fails to draw me in with her books.

I really liked this story. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable although slightly taboo. The characters were interesting. Christine was a great cousin. Considering the amount of time that the "kids" had been step-siblings, the parent's reaction was a bit over the top. Chase and Emma were attracted to each other immediately but as they were new step-siblings, that was awkward. As they got to know each other better, their attempts to remain only step-siblings became even more difficult. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Chance hadn't spent much time at his father's place since his mom died but this year his father requested his company. His father had recently remarried a widow with a college age daughter named Emma. Chance was willing to do his part until he saw his new stepsister. Just one look and he wanted to make her his. Making Emma feel loved is going to be very easy but his love isn't brotherly.

Not for me
This felt very choppy and all over the place for me. I usually LOVE stepbrother romance, but I didn’t not feel the connection between these two and just wasn’t feeling this story. Would have been a DNF for me if it wasn’t so short! Just not for me! -

The plot was good, it was the writing style and word choice that I didn’t like. I’m going to try and read a few more books by this author before I

Quick, spicy little holiday read. Emma visits her mom and stepfather for Christmas break from school. Chase is also spending the holiday with his father and stepmother. Emma and Chases' parents have recently married and neither kid has yet to meet their stepsibling. However, the first time Chase sees Emma when he goes to pick her up from the bus stop, he's enthralled. His father also asks Chase to spend time with Emma, get to know her, and make her feel comfortable and entertained during her visit home. The more time they spend together, the more Chase and Emma's attraction grows. Eventually they give into it but plan to keep it from their family, as they likely wouldn't approve. Something happens when Emma is supposed to return to school and Chase and Emma both finally acknowledge their feeling sofr each other. It's a cute spicy, quick, instaslove romance set during the Christmas season.
