I have a ton of work to do, but because I missed last Christmas with my family, I’m heading back to Texas for the holiday. It wouldn’t be my life, however, if something didn’t go wrong. So why am I surprised when I get stranded with no gas in the middle of a blizzard?
Thankfully a stranger, aka my rescuer, aka Josh, has a heart of gold and a truck big enough to plow through snow.
Spending time with anyone other than family isn’t part of my get-in-get-out plan, but my mother seems to have a romantic agenda for me. And Josh is everything my ex wasn’t, which is a good thing. Plus, he seems to be into me. Yet I’m worried my knight in Ford F-150 might have hang-ups as big as my own.
Should I let myself hope that our meet cute can actually lead to a happily (and Christmasy) ever after?

I enjoyed this!
It's a sweet and quick novella (about 100 pages). A bit silly, but I had a good time with it. Holiday season antics and good forced proximity. -
This was a cute, super short, holiday romance!
I loved that the main characters had small town high school pride and referenced their mascots and the rivalry a few times! It was a fun touch to the story.
It was SUPER fast, and it wasn’t very long at all. The romance felt a little one sided in some moments. Maybe if we’d had Josh’s POV it would’ve helped some. But it just felt like he was a nice guy…
I think if it had been a bit longer, and we would’ve gotten Josh’s POV it would’ve been GREAT! But it was cute overall.

A cute short holiday read
Elle Ann, has created just the right amount of holiday, romance & sweet quick read. About a girl who about to be stranded in a snow storm, with the Just Josh, comes & rescues her...it's sweet, and the banter between the two is soo good. -
This was a short, sweet, novella. If you are looking for a cute Christmas read with holiday spirit and feel good vibes, this is for you!
