Gabrielle Meyer
I've been reading romance books for years, but I never imagined that I'd be living in one of my own, stuck together with the Best Man for my best friend's wedding. He's everything I could want, but somehow every time I open my mouth around him, I can't shut up. The last thing I should do is spend more time with him, but between cooking lessons, close proximity, and us traveling around Europe together? I think I'm falling for my best friend's brother-in-law.
Hunter Sullivan
No girl's ever captured my interest. Not until her. But she'd rather put her nose in a book than talk to me, so I'm determined to flirt with her just to spend time with her. But being with her means risking my relationship with my brother, but the more time with her, the more one thing is clear: she's stolen my heart. And I don't want her to give it back.
Fearlessly Yours is a standalone romance, the third in an interconnected series. Contains a HEA, steamy sex scenes and adult language.

Cute comfort read kind of story. Sure, you know right off the start that they will end up together but that is why we read these kind of stories right? To experience a nice cute love story that we know will have a happy ending.
Each book in this series gets better and better with the story arcs. I also like how we get little updates on the characters from the other books, it is fun to see how they are progressing too.
Alas, still got some typos but its on Kindle Unlimited and I like to finish series so I’m sticking with it. -
Have a special place in my heart for my babies🥹🥹 this one felt too real, the way both gabbi and hunter dealt with their emotions, every interaction with their friends, every little attention to detail made me wanna cry of happiness🥹love them so much and I am going to have a hard time reading the last BFBC book I just know🥲
-
I want to say a huge thank you to Jenn for giving me an ARC for this one! I've really fallen in love with this friend group and being able to be one of the first to read Hunter and Gabbi's story was an absolute privilege!! 🤗
💚 Best Man x Maid of Honor
💚 Secret Relationship
💚 European Vacation
💚 No Third Act Breakup!
These Sullivan boys are another breed let me tell you. Benjamin's nerdy ass will forever have my heart, but Hunter is right there with him after this one.
Hunter the flirty tattooed PEDIATRIC doctor, who also is a monster in the sheets. Don't ask me why him helping the little children makes him 10x's hotter but it does 😅. And look out Clay Johnson, Hunter is coming for the crown when it comes for book boyfriends reading their girls books. Hunter was ALL IN for the romance books and boy was it fun watching him show of what he learned 😏
Now Gabrielle Meyer was so fun! It was really easy to connect with her. For one she was a book lover who loved photography and had her own bookstagram which HELLO on point 😅.
Secondly, I really connected with her vulnerability when it came to her insecurities about her body and the standards books had set for her with relationships. It was nice to see Hunter come in and silence a lot of her fears and show her that having a book boyfriend is great, but having someone real to hold onto was where the real magic happened.
Now okay in previous books we had Matthew and Noel who were constantly sneaking around in closets and restrooms, Benjamin and Angelina going for it at work, but Gabbi and Hunter took the cake for getting frisky in places you should not be getting frisky. Girl got railed ON a railing in broad daylight for crying out loud 😅.
But I digress...
However, can we take a moment and talk about Daniel and Charlotte?!? I have said it before and I am SCREAMING IT once again, I WILL GO FERAL WHEN I GET THEIR BOOK. Dear lord all the hints and secret glances and that little bomb at the end C'MON. I will be not so patiently waiting till this summer to see wtf is going on with those two little idiots. Daniel has said almost nothing and I know that man's gonna knock me out and I CANNOT WAIT!
For now though I bid the series farewell. Bingeing this series has been so fun and I can't wait to see where we're going to go next in the series! 💚 -
YOUR HONOR I LOVE THEM.
I think Angelina and Benjamin still take the cake for me, but this was a beautiful addition to the BFBC universe and I loved following along during the planning and executing of the Benjelina wedding!!! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go to a hospital to look for a tattooed, tall, green eyed book boyfriend. -
where's the third sullivan brother, the one made just for me?
-
I feel like the majority of us bookish girls can relate to Gabbi. We’re just girls that want to read all day and not work, have booktok/bookstagram be our jobs, have our book boyfriends become reality, travel the world, have our significant others read our books (and enact them 😉), and live next door to our besties 😘.
I loved the tropes in this book. We got best friends brother-in-law, vacation romance, one bed, best man x maid of honor, friends to lovers, cooking lessons, bi fmc, and no third act breakup, and of course, found family !!! I loved the friends to lovers. I'm a sucker for those, and the cooking lessons where she would bring her books and she would read as well as plan their travels together. I loved the little detail that she always wanted the nickname Elle but it never stuck so he started calling her that 🥹, and this is what she said “He’d called me Elle. Never, in all the years, had I imagined how much I’d like it spilling from his lips. I knew now that there was a reason no one else had ever called me it. I’d simply been saving it for him.” Plus, I loved seeing all of the other couples as well as our future couple, charlotte & daniel. I cannot wait to complete this series, and I will have read all of Jennifer Chipmans released books!! And I will be happily waiting for her next release 😘.
Favorite quotes/scenes:
“I liked to think that Gabbi was like the night sky—so fucking beautiful to look at. Even when you didn’t see her, she still somehow affected you, just like the moon and the tides.”
“She belonged among the stars, because she shined so bright, but I was glad to have her down here, anyway, where I could see her light.”
“How had this beautiful specimen of a human decided she wanted me? I was a fool for her, and I didn’t deserve her. I didn’t, but I couldn’t survive without her.”
“Stop being so fucking cute. I don’t think my heart can take it.”
“Yeah, well. You’re going to have to be careful before I steal it from you.”
“Maybe you already have.”
“You’re essential. You light up my life like a thousand stars in the Milky Way. A billion. You bring all of that joy and warmth and it’s fucking contagious, sweetheart, how much you make me want to smile just by being around you. When you have a camera in your hands and you focus on getting that perfect shot? You stick your tongue out to the side when you focus… And I can’t take my eyes off of you for one moment. All I know is I can’t let go of you.”
“From that very first moment when I listened to your heartbeat, and you accused me of not being an actual doctor. Even then, I knew.”
“What are you saying?”
“I love you, Gabrielle.”
“I knew it.”
“Will you shut up and let me kiss you?”
“Did you know otters hold hands while they sleep so they don’t drift apart?”
“What?”
“I think it’s cute. They don’t want to be separated from the one they love, even when they sleep. Very romantic, those otters.”
“Are you asking me to hold your hand while we sleep, sweetheart?”
“Mhm.”
“I’ll never let you go.”
“Good.”
“I can’t wait to build our dream home together. And marry you. Fuck, Gabrielle. I can’t wait to call you my wife.”
“I can’t wait for everything with you, Hunter Tobias Sullivan.” “Told you I’d make you Mrs. Sullivan.” -
⁺˚⋆。 °✩₊ fearlessly yours arcs
woah like just wow after reading the last book of this series i had pretty high expectations for this one and it checked every single box. like i knew from the last book that i was gonna like this couple but just reading about them in this book omfg, also how we get angelina and benjamin's wedding too ❤️ and the little tiny bit of charlottes and daniel wtf i need their book now and the smut! omfg jennifer chipman knows how to write a smut scenes. But just this book literally everything you could ask for in a romance book, the way hunter treats gabi and the things he does for her, especially when he knows she is upset or unhappy. And just how he always wants her ti be happy and does everything ti ensure so. I would admit i didn't see the ending coming like i was expecting a 2nd act breakups or something like that but what actually did happens and their confession 🤌🏻💋
- Best friend brother-in-law
- Secret relationship
- Doctor
- Traveling together
- maid of honor at best man
thank you for the arc cannot wait for you guys to read gabi and hunter’s book -
This book was fine! There were some great moments and then some things that really bugged me - some parts felt very repetitive and some of the miscommunication conflict annoyed me - but this was very cute! im looking forward to daniel and charlotte!
-
I absolutely love Hunter and Gabbi! Who doesn’t want a European sexcation!?!?🫡 (also I can’t freakinggg wait for Charlotte and Daniel!! Not so patiently waiting!!!) 5/5 stars I loved FY so much! 💚
-
Third in the series, third favorite!
-
i really loved gabbi and hunter’s relationship. the way that their relationship developed was so beautiful. the way hunter treated gabbi was so sweet, and how he remembered all of the little things. i love how much we get to see the friendships, the found family aspect of this series is just top tier. also how we got to see benjamin and angelina’s wedding? love love love. also all of the little crumbs of charlotte and daniel?? can’t wait for their book!! this series is such a comfort and couldn’t recommend enough!!
thank you so much for the arc!!! ❤️ -
4 ⭐️
What more could you want than a European sexcation. I loved Gabbi and Hunter’s story. The way Hunter was patient and waited for Gabbi to be ready. You can see them slowly fall in love with each other. I loved how he was a soft cinnamon roll, but also has a dirty mouth. He teaches her to cook, ugh I loved this part. I didn’t like the conflict between Hunter and Benjamin. So what, the girl you’re in love with, is your brother’s girlfriend best friend. Of course that’s going to cause tension.
ARC received in exchange for an honest review! -
let me just start this review by saying jenn, i’m so beyond proud of you for this book!!
where the heck do i even start with this book? honestly, i feel like i say i connect to ever character of every book i read but this time i genuinely mean it.
gabbi is me!! it’s incredibly validating to see a bi character but to also have this character have the same brain as you and act like you is a thousand times more validating. i might’ve cried a couple times seeing her tear down things she wanted but needed to protect herself from and i feel incredibly seen. gabbi deserves the world and i am so happy hunter gives that to her.
hunter is a strong character, thoughtful about this partner and has good communication skills. he picks up on when gabbi is spiraling in that head of hers and quickly validates how she feels while also communicating how he feels to show her that he cares and wants to be there and that her brain is simply wrong, best book boyfriend!
i am simply obsessed with the fact that he read some of her books to get to know her and that he also got that one thing for her to show that he really truly loves her! also the mouth in this man, woo wee!! i love him, he might possibly pass mr. matthew harper, which is from book one of this series and i highly suggest you check out that book!
again, jenn i am so beyond proud of you for this one and i really want to say thank you for somehow making me feel seen in this book even though it definitely wasn’t intended for me, i appreciate it so so much!!
definitely check out this book and the two before so you can be just as obsessed with this group of friends like i am! -
I thought this book was ooookay, I didn’t love it. One of the biggest reasons I’m giving the book 2 stars is because of the typos. There are far more in this book than any of her others, and even places where the wrong character’s name is mentioned. Part of what makes reading an enjoyable experience for me is the escapism, but basic grammatical errors and misspellings force me to break free of the trance a good book puts me in and, generally speaking, it ruins the overall experience. It’s disappointing to say the least.
Now, moving on to the plot. Eh. The miscommunication trope was repetitive and constant. The fear of abandonment was mentioned a few times, but neither of the main characters actually address it with any context or true resolution; this felt like a really giant loose thread which, when paired with the typos, left me feeling like I was tangled up in yarn rather than wrapped up in a cozy sweater. It wasn’t cohesive, and generally felt sloppy and rushed compared to book #2. -
It was a cycle of back and forth it was honestly soo exhausting it had the potential of being a five star I just pray she doesn’t ruin Charlottes book she is personally my favourite

🚨 FAVORITE BOOK OF 2023 ALERT 🚨
i was fortunate enough to not only receive an ARC of this literal work of art, but to be able to help beta read, and i cannot stress enough how much i love this book!
starting off strong, i’m already absolutely obsessed with the previous two books in this series, so i had a feeling i would love this one but i didn’t realize just how much!
Gabbi and Hunter may have just become my favorite couple of this series (so far)! which is a feat in and of itself because i’m a big office romance lover, so i thought Benjalina would be my favorite couple forever, but wow! i mean, HE READ HER BOOKS!!
Gabbi; reading about a bi main character that has the same struggles as me was something so incredibly validating. it made me feel seen, and i’m so happy that everything worked out for her in the end!
Hunter; the epitome of perfect book boyfriend! great communication skills, loving, caring, ATTENTIVE! i swear to god i was swooning like every other page! and whenever he calls her “little fighter” i think i melt!
i’ve read some good books this year, but this has topped ALL of them so far!! i’m so happy and so proud of Jenn for all the hard work that i know went into this book, and i can certainly say that all that hard work was worth it because this book is brilliant!
do i recommend: YES! DEFINITELY YES!! YOU CAN FIND THIS ON KU AND AMAZON AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ IT ASAP! -
Overall, I enjoyed Fearlessly Yours. It was nothing too special or unexpected, but there doesn't always have to be a surprise. Sometimes all you want is a sweet romantic read, and that's exactly what I got!
You can absolutely read Fearlessly Yours without reading the previous books, but having read Academically Yours and not Disrespectfully Yours, I'd suggest reading them if you care about potential spoilers and character development.
--Spoilers Ahead--
Don't really get the "little fighter"nickname. I know that he explained it later into the book, but even then I didn't really think it applied very well to her character or their relationship.
Gabrielle being "annoying" as the reason she doesn't want to speak to him is just gone without being dealt with. Okay, so they dealt with it. It was a miscommunication. Apparently she overheard a comment that that was actually about Hunter's mother being annoying. The conversation where that go brought up was so late into the story that it felt misplaced and inconsequential.
Loved him teaching her how to cook, I would've loved even more of those moments.
Their trip to Europe was honestly adorable! And seeing them get lost in the moments and fall more in love was exactly what I'd hoped for in this book.
I was super glad there was no third act breakup. The car crash was probably a good enough catalyst to make them realize they needed to be with each other always and move in together. -
as much as i love gabbi, probably the most out of the best friends book club in this series, this book lacked for me. i think i’ve finally hit the point in my smut reading where i find myself cringing more and more at the dialogue and reading this book really helped me come to that realization.
i did love gabbi’s and hunter’s love story, but part of me wanted her to end up with a girl. like i feel like her being bi was attempted to be a major focal point but because nothing really came from it (even the run in with the ex girlfriend was anticlimactic as fuck) it fell flat. i was honestly more interested in charlotte’s and daniel’s story unfolding, and it’s not even their book! or nicolas and zofia, and they don’t even have a book! gabs and hunter were lowkey boring, no matter how freaky they were in the sheets. it all felt so repetitive like chipman’s other books within this series.
the epilogues and extended epilogues are always my favorites in this series, and i loved to read about gabbi’s and hunter’s future. although, quinlan and rowan are interesting name choices for the daughter and dog LOL. i love this girl group and their romances nevertheless! -
I stumbled upon this book from the kindle recommendations and this book so a really cute short read and refreshing read.
This book was really short in my opinion it is about 38 chapters which seems long but they go by super fast and I finished this in about an hour or 2.
I loved the relationship between the two characters BUT i wish we got to see more into why they are so reserved about being in a relationship, it is revealed that the MMC doesn’t want to be in a relationship because of how temporary everything feels especially in his line of work BUT with the FMC we kinda just don’t know? she’s just insecure and scared with no real reason behind it?
She’s also constantly describing herself as ugly, not skinny / not having a flat stomach etc etc which really sent me mixed signals because she’s skinny on the cover of the book.
I also really dislike both of the main characters weird loyalty to their friends, they say they can’t be together because the FMCs best friends is marrying the MMCs brother so many times you could have sworn they were committing a crime. To me it was just so over used and honestly them being together didn’t even really seem like a big deal. -
A bit too cheesy but very sweet, a lot of Chipman's books have a little love at first sight thing going with a bunch of doubt.
I can't with the major insecurities but the sneak peaks of Char and Daniel's story is literally toying with my feelings. I loved getting to see the wedding happen, the vows and the feels were perfect. Also we most definitely need a Nic and Zo story!
“Telling me not to read on a plane is like telling me I shouldn’t breathe.
Or drink water. Not physically possible.”
“There’s something to say about finding the person who you’re supposed to be with, when you love someone so much that you’d do anything for them…"
”You are stardust,” she whispered, “born to shine.”
"You just have to keep showing up, and she’ll know that you mean it.”
“Did you know otters hold hands while they sleep so they don’t drift apart?” “I think it’s cute. They don’t want to be separated from the one they love, even when they sleep. Very romantic, those otters.” -
This was bad. Like really bad. I had wondered why the 1st book in this series has such a low rating but after reading (only) this one, the writing is So bad. The conversations are eye rolling. Like an alien wrote this. It just kept and kept talking about how in love their friends were. ALL THE TIME. There was not one chapter without mentioning how in love their friends were. Also, love at first sight is rarely good - only if it's really well made and this is not it. The fact that her friends kept pushing for her to start dating - 4 months after a heartbreak. His mom was so annoying - just wanted him to go NC with her. Didn't realize how much I hated this book until I started writing this.... 1 star
-
Another fun, beautiful and heartfelt book in this series. I absolutely loved this story, following the story of Gabrielle and Hunter as they open themselves up to love and new possibilities while also facing their own feelings and pasts. This romance was done so beautifully, their friendship, how they opened themselves up for the future possibilities and love that they would share. This third book in the shared series also brings in so much of the friendship dynamic of the best friends and I absolutely love that they support and love each other while still having their own lives. I can’t wait to read the next story and fall even more in love with Jennifer Chipman’s writing.
-
A sweet little read without any bumps in between
Throughout i was expecting for something to happens but it went without a snitch. Loved that he was always ready to read her books and also taking tips from them, their cooking dates were really sweet.
Frankly i kind of liked angel and ben more than them
I felt like the connection was there bit could not completely get on with them
They were in their bubble but it was kind of repetitive with same dialogues and from both sides
The push and pull, like even me gave the whiplash.
I liked their epilogue more. -
I had high expectations for this book since I really liked Angelina’s and Benjamin’s story. But the one just didn’t top that one. Still it was better than Noelles and matthews. But Gabbie and Hunter gave me major whiplash. One min they didn’t want to be together then the next they couldn’t be apart like literally all that would happen in the same paragraph. At one point it just started irritating me. I did however like the little possessive moments hunter had
-
This book was everything I wanted and more. I was so excited to finally get Gabi and Hunter's book and it did not disappoint. The writing was perfect. The smut was amazing. The characters were incredibly. As a Bi avid romance reader I related to Gabi in a lot of ways. Jennifer Chipman never fails and this is just another amazing book by her.
-
3.5/5
Not a bad book at all! Enjoyed some parts a lot. However, it felt too overstretched, and for no reason too long, like the author could have called it a day but added like 70 extra pages. Gabbi is not as irritating as Noelle smh, so I love her and Hunter is a good character. The smut was great but it felt like there was no real plot and just stretching sexual tension -
I LOVE Benjamin with my whole heart BUT WHY DID HE DO THAT😭😭 He should never have interfered with their relationship, Angelina didn’t say she was uncomfortable with their attraction when they first meet at Noelle & Matthew’s Halloween party😭 Gabrielle and Hunter’s relationship development was good. I enjoyed reading this book. Can’t wait for Charlotte’s book😭😭😭😭
-
This book was not for me. It was poorly written and repetitive. The character interactions were really superficial and surface-level. The relationship felt forced. The author also basically took every single hyped-up/swooned-over romance detail and packed it all into one book. It was just overkill.
This may not be the book for me, but I wish all the success in the world to the author. -
-
I love the first two books in this series, but this one was my favorite by far—and that’s saying something! Hunter and Gabrielle were just darling, both scared they couldn’t be loved. Until they found each other. *swoon*
