The Greek Millionaire's Secret Child Reviews

this was basically the story of a man who spent all of his time going off to hot spots throughout the world on humanitarian missions and ignoring his father. he meets the heroine who is his father's nurse and they have a 3 month affair during which he continually leaves her to jet off around the world. she wants him to not put himself in danger and for her to be more important to him than his work. they break up and she finds out she's pregnant. Most of the book is the affair and the secret baby is only at the end and it was too much waiting for the other shoe to fall for me.

I mostly liked this one until the end. It starts off as a "estranged son thinks father's nurse is trying to take advantage of him so he swoops in to seduce her instead" and then becomes two people with incompatible life goals falling in love only to veer into secret baby and it was the last part that didn't work so well for me. The proposal that he dishes out at his father's deathbed because of the secret baby is actually very sweet, but still. No secret babies.

Not what I was expecting. Certainly not a secret baby book. It was ok. The h is a pushover. The H didn't thrill me. It was just ... meh!

Nothing like the book title says. I was hoping for a quick romance and a pregnancy discovery. What really happened was a drawn out romance and a baby seconds before the novel ends. It was kind of disappointing.
