Mase Stirling—with his balls and his billions—might be the perfect leading man for some.
Not Fiona.
Mase is a baseball player, billionaire’s son, and all-around fun guy. He collects names and numbers as easily as his father pays the bills, sliding into DMs as smoothly as he slides out of their lives. He's a player both on and off the field and all the tabloids stories prove that he likes it that way.

Fiona prefers the quiet life, happy to watch her friends fall in love like one of her favorite romance novels. Mase, with his leading man looks, isn't the type to be a knight-in-shining-armor—at least not until he swoops in to rescue Fiona from a panic attack in the middle of a Las Vegas nightclub, But after a few Alabama Slammers, some dance moves even better than Sam Rockwell, and her own Pretty Woman shopping spree, Fiona realizes there's another side to the scoundrel Mase Stirling.

A side she might actually be falling for.

But when family and furious ex-girlfriends get involved, Fiona's happily ever after is threatened. Will Mase be able to rescue her again, or will she have to save herself?

Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend is the fourth book in the Suitor Science Series, a sweet romantic comedy with a billionaire bad boy and the sweet, shy girl next door proving that opposites do attract, and true love might be found in Las Vegas.

    Charming! Absolutely charming!

Fiona and Mase are in Las Vegas to celebrate the engagement of their best friends. Based on his reputation alone, Fiona dislikes Mase and makes sure he knows it! Her friends are extremely protective her, due to her normally-reserved and sweet nature...and her painful relationship past!

Meanwhile, MLB star and grandson of a billionaire, Mase Sterling finds himself attracted to Fiona...but based on his own history with people because of his family and - especially women - he is afraid to let anyone in when it comes to who he really is as a person.

Can she get past her reservations and dislike of him? Can Mase get her to open up, and can he let himself her know the real him? The true 'him' he keeps to himself and doesn't even show his best friend?

At first I was a little put off by Fiona's 'poor me, everyone is engaged or in a happy relationship except me' attitude. Fortunately, that only lasted a few pages. I appreciated the chemistry between Mase and Fiona. They clicked, once they gave each other a chance.

I did receive a copy for review, but as I do with all books I receive an ARC for, I have preordered this from Amazon.

This was my first read from Holly Kerr, though I have been checking out her books for a little while. I'm not sure why I haven't picked one up yet, because this book was not just hilarious (it absolutely was), but so thoughtful and perfectly paced and all of the character dynamics were just perfect! Yes, it was closed door and normally I do prefer to have a good steam level, but every now and then I don't mind when everything else far outweighs that little tidbit.

I adored the way that right from the beginning, after an initial dislike between Mase (Gordon Thomas Mason Stirling III - you can tell he's the son of a rich family just from the pretentious name!), and Fiona Stark, things turn around very quickly after he watches out for her during their mutual best friend's engagement weekend celebration that starts at his Las Vegas club (yes, by "his" - he owns it!). Being not just the son of a billionaire family, he's a rich and very well-known baseball player for the Minnesota Twins, in his own right.

They ditch the club and the friends and he takes her out shopping for a new pair of shoes because her feet are killing her after a night of dancing - and things really just take off from there. That "night" starts at 2am leaving the club, and ends at 9am leaving the Elvis wedding chapel, now adorned with wedding rings. Oops! Now Fee and Mase have to hide it from all of their friends because this is the weekend to celebrate Bexley and Grayson (after they fell in love on the televised show The Suitor), but it's hard when running from Mase's admirers, including his stalker and recent Baby-Mama accuser and social media influencer being in town and seeking him out. Not to mention, pictures leak online and suddenly his sister is calling because his grandfather has summoned him home immediately to account for his actions - all in a weekend's fun!

I really enjoyed the whole story the whole way through, and now will be going back and reading the series from the start - to meet all of the friends that were present for the party weekend! Each has their own story, and I can't wait to learn more! I highly recommend this one to everybody - works great as a standalone too! No triggers, is clean and just plain fun! A very quick and easy read.

I received an advance copy from NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, and this is my honest review.

Too many characters being introduced at once at the beginning.

Mase brought everyone to Vegas and paid for everything for Bexley and Graysons engagement party. -very kind and selfless.

Mase is a huge flirt and player.
He seems after awhile genuine with Fiona.

I think Fiona has changed her opinion about Mase not just being a playboy from in the tabloids. She seems to be really interested in learning about him and his life.

Make admitted he likes that she is different than any other women he's been interested in previously.

Bexley, boan and Grayson aren't impressed to see Mase and Fiona sitting so closely talking to one another by themselves.

Mase took Fiona shopping to find new shoes, but they ended up shopping for much more. Mase likes Fiona so much. He is being his true self with her.

Fiona and Mase are getting married in Las Vegas!
    This caught me by surprise.
Fiona didn't seem like the type of girl to be spontaneous.

Mase is scared/nervous to tell his family about marrying Fiona because they will think she married him for fame or money.
I hope Fiona doesn't end up getting hurt from Mase or his family.
    She doesn't deserve that.

Bexley is angry and upset with Fiona for getting married during her engagement party. She found out through pictures.
I feel a bit sorry for Bexley because it was her week end to celebrate Grayson and her.

Mase and Fiona are going to meet with Mases family. -I hope that they aren't terrible to Fiona. I have a feeling that they will not be nice to her.

Mases Grandfather thinks Fiona is exactly what Mase needs in his life.

Overall, I think the book was really well written. It ended up being such a cute and sweet book. It was an easy quick read.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This premise was so fun: Mase & Fiona are introduced during their best friend's engagement party weekend in Vegas. Mase is a billionaire playboy and also a pro-baseball player, Fiona is a scientist who has struggled to find love. Fiona has some preconceived notions of Mase from the scandals he's been in from the tabloids, and Mase is intrigued by Fiona from the moment he sees her.
By the end of their first night in Vegas, they're married.

I struggled heavily with the timeline/plot of this story. The book takes place over two days (really ~36 hours) and in that time I'm supposed to believe that two strangers fall in love, get married, and overcome family/friend distrust and skepticism of the relationship, etc.? idk it felt SO far-fetched that it was hard for me to suspend belief and just go along with it.

I wish the plot extended a bit further *past* their whirlwind weekend of falling in love and how Mase & Fiona adjusted to their impulsive Vegas marriage back in their everyday lives.

I think the main characters and their backstory could have been developed a bit more alongside some of the conflict plot points. They talk about Fiona's relationship struggles and hint at some toxicity that's happened that's caused her to be skeptical of love, & Mase's background of coming from a wealthy family and being taken advantage of by others because of his name and his status and how that's led to his distrust of others, but both aspects of their backgrounds are mentioned so briefly, kind of just thrown out there but not fully developed.

There were some cute moments and I love a sweet talker but I think I wanted a bit more from this overall.

This is such a sweet, adorable, FUN and inspiring story
    Must read for Romance lovers
We have main characters - Fiona and Mase, complete opposites but these two are good for each other
Fiona- quiet, shy, reserved, has panic attacks/anxiety and is the best friend of the engaged couple
Mase- famous baseball player, son of a billionaire, all around fun guy but is it all a front is he more than what people see
I love all the different book references and even a few from Pretty Woman, Fiona even says ...."straight from one of my romance novels"
So Fiona and Mase we introduced at their friends' engagement party in Las Vegas (which made a great setting for this story). Fiona already from the start didn't like Mase bc she thought she knew the type of guy he was based on his reputation and online presence.
Her friends are super protective of her also.
So she and Mase end up spending a ton of time together at the party and then also after when all their friends left and things def change for these 2.

This book is the 4th in the series (Suitor Science) and now bc i loved this one sooo much I need to go and check them all out from the beginning, can't wait to get the back stories of all the characters that you meet in this book. Also just a heads up this is def a book that you can read as a stand-alone.

I am sooo happy to have been able to read this ARC, thank u to the publisher and also to NetGalley for this opportunity. The above review is my own, honest and voluntary.

Wholesome with a whole load of angst and cute moments

These 2 don’t exactly hit it off to begin with. Fiona knows all about this playboy baseball player. Well so does anyone who reads the tabloids but one night in Vegas and many hours of conversation and drinks later soon changes her mind about this playboy. She starts to see the man behind the front he puts on and she likes what she sees, a lot.

The attraction grows pretty quick but not unrealistically, they are pretty cute together and before you know it, they are saying vows before Elvis.

But it’s not all smooth sailing, they have a few obstacles to get past first. 1 being her best friends who all told Mase to stay away from her, look how well that turned out. 2 his domineering grandfather who does not accept Mase for who he is let alone the women he’s just married.

But all is not lost. Fiona who has always taken a back seat and been the shy reserved one, finds an inner strength when she is around Mase and we get to see her grow and come out swinging for her man and she’s adorable.

High recommend. I’ve never read any of this series but it looks like I need to go and read the rest now.

Mase, the charming playboy player, has been one of my favorite characters since the moment we first met him. There was just something about his devil-may-care attitude that I knew was hiding a soft, squishy underbelly. Fiona was another favorite, mostly because I could see so much of myself in the quiet “librarian”. Putting these two together feels a little like inviting chaos into the universe, but it’s also absolutely perfect. They’re both used to hiding behind social masks and are desperate to be seen for themselves. Neither has been terribly successful in the romantic department to this point, so why not see what happens? I loved everything about this book. Mase grows up and smartens up, while Fiona loosens up and learns to embrace the fun in spontaneity once in a while. I adored watching them fall for one another as they toured through Las Vegas. The ending was exactly what I wanted to see, but now I’m more curious than ever to find out what else the author has up her sleeve.

Thank you Netgalley and Victory Editing for sending me an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.

Wow, I wasn’t expecting any of that. That was weird, but good weird. I mean, the timeline is literally three days for all the book. Every chapter is the consecutive of the one before so you never stop reading and I finished it in like two days I guess.
It’s all so fast that you can’t expect you’ve already finished the book.
Usually I’m not a fan of things going too quickly, especially in books, but I feel like nothing would have happened any other way.

This book represents the type of love that doesn’t need time to be revealed. It shows that even impulsive actions, with the consequences they bring, when they feel right they are. It’s like “go for it”.
It’s not something that can be supported by everyone, but it’s a different type of love that exists and isn’t talked about enough.

All that being said I really liked it and it’s 4⭐️ for me.

  • Jill Parsons

This book so so great! This is also a new to me author.

Fiona is the single best friend that loves love. She can never seem to find the right guy. She heads to Las Vegas for her best friends engagement party. It is put on by her best friends fiancés friend Mase a professional baseball player and a member of a billionaire family.

The pace of this book is great. It keep my attention the whole time. I love the character development and I just love Mase. You can feel all the love and tension without a ton of super saucy scenes being drawn out (if you aren’t into that).

I would highly recommend this book and want to go back and read the first three in the series.

Side note - this author is Canadian so some of the spelling and measurements are different.

Thank you to NetGalley for the copy of this book for my honest review

Preconceived notions might have made this couple miss out on a great thing
Marrying The Billionaire Best Friend by Holly Kerr is a sweet romance full of surprises. Although this couple is brought together through a weekend of celebrations, both surprise the other in many ways.
Fiona judged Mase based on what she thought she knew. When Mase takes notice and care of Fiona, it opens the lines of real communication and leads to a sweet and fun-filled night that lasts into the next day.
There are many obstacles for this couple to navigate. Fiona’s best friend and Mase’s family being the most immediate. But the heart wants what the heart wants. Mase and Fiona, despite their differences and many decisions that need to be made, listen to their hearts and stand by each other no matter what vitriol they face.
Overall, Mase and Fiona, on a whim, embark on a whirlwind HEA. It might be spontaneous and reckless, but for them, it’s perfection in the end.

Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend is a fast-paced love story set between Mase and Fiona at their friends' engagement party in Las Vegas. Havin no background of the previous books, I got really confused with the names, but the story itself was enjoyable and and funny.

A very light read without too much drama; rating Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5. Out on October 25, 2022!

Mase and Fiona are in Las Vegas for their best friend’s engagement party. Fiona couldn’t stand Mase at first. She had her opinion of him made up from the start. She soon learned that she couldn’t be more wrong. He steps up to look after her after she almost has an anxiety attack in the club. Soon, they are downing drinks and laughing as they watch their best friends having fun.

One thing leads to another, and these complete opposites end up standing in front of Elvis. The next morning, they decide to keep it a secret as they don’t want to ruin their friend’s engagement party weekend. But secrets are never secret for long, and soon pictures of that night emerge. Words are exchanged and misunderstandings ensue.

What will Fiona and Mase do in the light of everyone’s opinions? Will they be able to stand together and fight for each other, or will they wilt under the pressure of their friend’s and family’s opinions?

Opposites attract becomes real when Fiona who doesn't like Mason at all, finds a way that he shows her the real him. Mase flies Bexley, Grayson and a few friends to Vegas to celebrate their engagement. The first evening at Mase's nightclub Bubbles Fiona suffers from anxiety and somehow that caught his attention because they spend the night together, talking, dancing and shopping through Vegas...
That's when I better stop so you can discover what else happens yourself.
It's a fun read and you'll fall in love with Fiona who can be a real bad ass.

    Thank you NetGalley!

I read this so fast! This was so cute, and couldn’t put it down. The timeline was short and the relationship should have felt rushed, but it didn’t. Fiona and Mase are lucky to have each other on their side.

omg!!! I love everything about this book! The story is so sweet; I was smiling the whole time reading it! I love Mase and Fiona's banter; it makes me giddy! I always love it when a playboy's heart softens and he becomes a one-woman man, and this is a perfect example of it! Gosh, I don't know what else to say other than I love this book!

it's so good to have Bex and Grayson! I missed them! I've been rooting for these two and am hungry for more BeySon scenes! I had to read Falling for the Suitor again to refresh my memory so I could remember the other characters who are part of this story. 😂 (Disadvantage of being a forgetful person lol.)

Holly Kerr, what have you done?! You did it again! You did another exciting, engaging, and lovable love story that made me pass out due to over-swooning! You write so well that I feel like I'm living vicariously through Fiona's feelings for Mase! You just hit the right spot! I didn't even know I was in the last chapter already!!! I WANT MORE!!!! Can this have a sequel? This is my favorite book among the Suitor Science Series, next is the Falling For The Suitor! I am so bias because I haven't read the others yet, those will be my next target!

i highly recommend this book! It's a light read and a fast-paced story; like literally "love in fast forward".😂

ps: i recommend reading Falling For The Suitor (Bexley and Grayson's story) first before reading this book, to relate to the other characters mentioned.

WHAT A STORY! I liked that Fiona made her own life after she and her brother lost their parents , unfortunately she was unlucky in love, but even though she hated Las Vegas, she had to go to her best friend's engagement party, At first, I did not like Mase who appeared to be a womanizer and played baseball for the Twins. I never thought about how women could just throw themselves at men with money and Mase certainly had A LOT. Mase surprised me with his careful attention to Fiona.

Firstly I would like to thank Hidden Gems Books for giving me an ARC of this book! I was so excited to start it after reading the summary and signed up for it immediately and am so grateful I was able to grab a copy!

The beginning of this book did put my off a little by all the pop culture references but after getting to the climax I really enjoyed this book! It’s such an amazing book about this love trope and it was so cute how they ended up together. Definitely a book I would recommend!

Fiona and Mase can’t be more different but they have to be friendly for Bexley and Grayson’s engagement party in Las Vegas. One night together, getting to really know each other will change them forever. But are they going to be Beale to find their HEA? Great love story

Quick Summary: A "Two Hearts Collide" Romance

My Review: Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend by Holly Kerr was a super cute, super fun read. It, quite simply, charmed its way into my heart. I found it to be playful, funny, outrageous (in a good way), and just darn enchanting.

Fiona and Mase were two people who weirdly worked. They clicked. This oddly opposites-attract couple had a relationship that defied the odds. I couldn't help but cheer for them. Watching their two hearts collide was very satisfying.

    About the Main Characters:

Fiona was intelligent, quirky, loyal, assertive, and lovable. Despite her anxiety, she powered through. I loved how she transformed into a lioness by the end of the book.

Mase was a nice guy. Although he learned how to wear a mask, based on some of the unfair expectations placed upon him, he was decent and seemed to have a good heart. I loved that he looked out for his friends. I loved that he didn't have a problem with Fee "saving the day."

    Other Characters of Interest:

Grayson and Bexley were an interesting couple. Their story attracted my attention. (Do they have a book in this series? Hmm...🤔)

Tad proved to be a noteworthy prospect as a person of interest for a future story of his own. (Bring it! I'm so there.)

I was intrigued by Mase's sisters. I know they weren't major players in the story. Regardless, they presented themselves in a way that caused me to want to know more. (I've got a boatload of questions.)

My Final Say: This little gem will draw in readers who want a simple, sweet, quickie romance with a punch.

Thanks NetGalley and Publisher for allowing me to read the e-ARC in exchange of an honest review!

I didn't expect anything from this book before, I only thought it'd be an instant attraction romance, but I was completely wrong!

This book is about a whole whirlwind secret-door fairy-tale like romance that got me swooned because of how ridiculous, funny, and (somehow) pure this love story is! It came from Fiona's prejudiced thought--which influenced by her friends–of Mase, his bestfiend's fiancee's billiionaire bestfriend who arranged a party for the whole weekend to celebrate their bestfriends' engagement. Mase was famous for being a billionaire heir, great baseball player, with a playboy reputation from media that Fiona's despise. Their circles of friends are not help either, because they trying to protect her from him. But when they're finally sit down and have a conversation all night long, peeling their every layers and masks they put for everyone as they began to get sees their true-selves the way no one ever did and feeling connected to each other on another level--they went crazy all night, not wanting this night to be over and ...... decided to get married!

This story has been funny and entertaining, from their cat and mouse game, to their silly shopping hours, and how they trying to make the married proceed through then keep it as a secret in front of their group of friends.

In this quick read, I got to see the development of both main characters' growth as they exploring their new sides of each other they didn't know they had it in them till they meet other--which is very cute and exciting! I love how strong Fiona character is when it comes to protect her loved ones and when she finally realizes her worth, also how attentive Mase actually is.

Though of course, it's unlikely relatable, but it's been a VERY entertaining and sweet book to reads. this book literally keeps me smiling all night long. I can't wait to read the whole Suitors series.

    Overall rate: 4/5

Marrying the billionaire best friend is a very cute story about friends who attend an engagement party for mutual friends, but somehow their night only begins at 2am after leaving the club, where which was the party, and ends at 9am after leaving a chapel, rings in hands! After that they have to deal with the billionaire's family, and both their friends reactions to their marriage amidst the celebration of other friends' engagement, along with accusations of fathering a child and being stalked on his end, and so much more!

This book was one of the cutest books that I read this year, I was very entertained while reading it, and I was very impressed to find a romance book that is actually clean and like it? LOL

The writing style was absolutely delightful, the characters were very likable, the line of events was smooth, quick paced and there was a bit of angst that kind of just kept me at the edge of my seat waiting for more!

This is my first book of this author, but it definitely will not be my last, after meeting those characters, I have to get back to the series and find out their stories!

I am very happy that I got the chance to read this book, it's definitely a five star in my opinion.
