  Warning, this book is not for the lactose intolerant! 🧀 The cheese factor in this one was high. I’m not one who likes any cheese or sap in my books so this book was definitely not for me. However, I know lots of readers out there like a low stakes, sweet and easy read and enjoy cheese. If that’s what you like, this one fits the bill. I’m totally mixing so many metaphors in this review.
  This was a blue collar, overprotective hero, age gap, insta love romance. It’s a very short read; just over a hundred pages. So if you can handle a tooth ache, a silly villain arc and some major clichés this might please you. For me, I just gagged my way through.
  It wasn’t the worst but the hero was way too perfectly perfect. He fed her chocolate covered strawberries and asked for consent so much that I wanted to scream ‘Just fuck her already!’. Also insta love like this always seems too unreal for me. The hero’s inner monologues reminded me of a girl I knew in University who would come back after meeting a guy and swoon, declaring he was the one and she was in love. Only to inevitably end up screaming and crying as she set fire to all his stuff a few weeks later, then do it all again the next month. Basically people who feel this insta without having a conversation with someone are most likely unstable. But anyway, this book wasn’t for those of us who like realism. But it was cute enough, I guess.

  Natalie's car breaks down on the highway while she's on her way to visit her sister. She calls the closest mechanic and that happens to be Adam.
  
  When Adam sees her, he thinks she's an angel. He's that taken with her! He's so sweet and protective- I loved reading about him. Natalie was a little wishy-washy with what she wanted to do but in the end she made the right choice.

  Driving for hours and 20 minutes away from her sister Brianna’s workplace, Natalie Miller’s car started clanking and grinding. She pulled over and looked up the nearest auto shop, telling the man who answered what had happened. He asked if she was in a safe area of the highway, then used a landmark to pinpoint her location as he was only 5 minutes away. Adam Jones introduced himself and offered to drive her to wherever she was headed. When she said she was picking her sister up at the gym, he gave a warm laugh and identified her as Briana’s sister. His brother owned the gym. He certainly put her at ease. He already made her feel special.
  
  Adam took Natalie to dinner her first night in town. And their first kiss told him that she was the one, his angel. He knew about her home life from his sister’s experiences. He wouldn’t try to force her decisions. He would just show her how much he cared and that he was there for her always. Would she be ready and willing to move into town away from her controlling father? Or would she be too afraid to try to step away from him and live her own life with the man who already loves her?

  Natalie is off to her sisters house for some rest from her father. But she needs a rescue from the roadside and along comes Adam. It was a great story. Loved the chemistry between the two characters and I felt that Natalie’s feelings were justified after what her dad puts her through. Can’t wait for the next one.

  Natalie’s car breaks down on her way to see her sister Brianna (The Bodybuilder’s Shy Girl) while her husband Caleb is out of town. She calls the local auto shop and mechanic, Adam comes out to tow her car. It’s instant attraction for these two. When he figures out this is Brianna’s sister he hopes she’s going to stay in town and asks her out to dinner. Brianna plays matchmaker and pretends to be sick so the two can go out on their date. Things go well and they have a second date. Their chemistry is hot, lots of kisses and some oral later they do the deed on the second date, Natalie is a virgin and Adam has been celibate a long time.
  Her dad try’s to sabotage her car but the punks he hires are caught and arrested. When Adam talks about protecting her and Brianna talks about her moving to town she panics a little. The dad is so controlling and she’s worried that Adam will be the same way and her sister is pushing to hard. But Adam is the perfect boyfriend he explains things to her and lays out options for her to decide what she wants. He just wants her safe. When the dad himself comes and breaks into the auto shop he is caught and arrested. Adam again gives Natalie the option of what she want done to her dad. She opts to have him arrested and publicly humiliated. She waffles a little still about being controlled but realizes that Adam always talks to her and gives her opinions. I love yous and more hot sexy times. Epilogues two months later with a proposal and five years later with a daughter that Adam is teaching about tool.

  When I found on Brianna's sister Natalie had her own book I just knew I had to rush and get it so I could read her love story.
  Once again, another story by Haley Travis that just is a home run. In this story we see Brianna's younger sister Natalie, and bodybuilder turned mechanic Adam (who we also met in Brianna and Caleb's story) find their own happily every after and dare I say, it may have been even sweeter than Brianna's story.
  
  What I really loved about this story is that Adam seemed much more down to earth and in tune with Natalie's feelings in regards to finding her own stride and independence after getting out from her previous home life situation. I feel it was very believable that Natalie wanted space right before she jumped into moving in with Adam and it was very nicely played out over the pages.
  
  I also love how the chemistry between all of her characters is believable. Call me a hopeless romantic or whatever you want, but I do believe that there is love at first sight (if there wasn't I wouldn't necessarily be here) and you can feel a strong attraction so someone you just met. Plus mix in the spice all of these characters emit and you continually have a wonderful, page turner that is easy to read in one go. Certainly another story you should add to your list if you are looking for a cute, HEA with spice that is quick and easy to read!

  This is the first book in the Mackton Mechanics with a sexy guy and the women who steals his heart on sight. Natalie life isn’t easy living with a controlling who isn’t nice about calling all the shots, leaving on her way to visit her sister only to have car troubles and pulling into the mechanic shop for help changing her path. Adam sexy as all get out mechanic when a young woman pulls in needing help, learning he knows her sister thus he knows the issues she deals with when it comes to their father and helping her is his pleasure but never did he suspect his path would change after meeting her. The attraction is instant, intense and the magnetic pull between them grows the more time they spend together but when it is time for her to go home he wants her to choose him but he won’t push, or control her like her father but he does show her love and hopes it is enough for to choose love over it all but will she or do her father have more control than she realize and can they find happiness?.

  This is the first book in the Mackton Mechanics series. I loved Adam and Natalie's story. It's a short and steamy age gap romance. Adam is a sweet giant of a man, he's not afraid to give Natalie the chance and space to make decisions. She is leery of relationships after living with her controlling father. Natalie's car breaks down on her way to her sisters house so she calls a mechanic. She meets Adam when he shows up to help her. Their attraction is strong but will Natalie decide to stay? Can't wait to read Gage's story next.

  Natalie went to visit her sister, happy for the opportunity to get away from her family, that is until her car started to make a strange noise. Adam picked up the phone when Natalie calls the mechanic shop, not wanting to leave a woman in trouble he quickly went to her. When Adam saw Natalie, he knew she was his one.
  
  This is fast instalove story that will steal your heart at the strength, support and passion Adam has for Natalie. I love how he recognized what she needed and the independence/ choice she desired and give her space along with love.

Natalie is also drawn to Adam, and she is considering the possibility of moving to town to be with her sister, but she has a domineering father who wants to call the shots. Will his spineless antics have Natalie moving back home or into the arms of Adam? This delightful story had me in Adam and Natalie's corner to get their chance for a happily ever after.

  I loved this story. It is short and spicy! Natalie is trying to make her own way and from underneath her controlling father. Adam is the mechanic who rescues Natalie from the side of the road and is immediately smitten. Their HEA is just the right balance of give and take.

  I enjoyed reading this story. I suggest reading ‘The Bodybuilder’s Shy girl’, first. There are persons from that story, that makes appearances in this one, and it helps to understand her family drama, and the seriousness of it. It’s relevant to this story. Loved the perfect for them epilogue.

  Adam is a mechanic. Natalie recently finished college and was heading to visit her sister for the weekend, when he car broke down. Adam arrived in a tow truck to help. They were instantly attracted to each other and their chemistry sizzled. The was a sappy sweet story.
