A practical reference for every day of the year, this book is also packed with a wide variety of essays written on magic related topics. It gives a great glimpse into lots of different kinds of magical practices, how they relate to the elements, and what that has to do with time of year. I enjoyed reading it and learned a lot, including plenty of kitchen witchery tidbits.

Usually and typically, it is normal for a annual book to have some good articles and others that are meh, but in the 2024 Magical Almanac book, all the articles are fantastic. It might be because of the Magic theme, with earth, air, fire and water but this almanac is amazing.

I learned new things now have new ideas for magic with all four elements. The authors were engaging and the art was tasteful and magical.

From cemeteries to gifting to cooking and cleansing and rainbows, I found something new, exciting and interesting on every page.

I highly recommend this book for 2024 and honestly beyond.

This is full of goodies! I do wish it was organized a bit more like an almanac, with a bit more attention to time of year for each article. I'm glad I read all the essays and articles first, and can use the middle, almanac section, throughout the year.

Obviously will continue to refer to this for the 'almanac' section, but the articles are very interesting.

  • Adriana Oatis

While not every portion is instantly useful to me, all of the articles are insightful and well written.

  • Emmett Smith

It has some interesting work and takes on traditional workings. Be open going into it. It may have newer versions that work better for those traditional workings.

  • Alicia Hough

I loved all of the articles in this years book! So many little nuggets of insight ❤️

It was my first year getting this almanac and I thoroughly enjoyed: I expected it to be more like the Witches' Companion, mainly filled with articles, but there are also rituals, spells and practices you can incorporate into your own craft... I found it extremely useful and inspiring.
