Now a mother and girlfriend of a self-made millionaire, Judy should be living her best life. Instead, she’s found herself stuck in love with a man who lacks the emotional capacity to love her back. Though tragedy has brought them closer, the same tragedy threatens to break them apart. On top of dealing with an emotionless man, she’s also dealing with an old friend who is getting desperate to distribute her own karma.

Though Poppa is open to Judy teaching him how to love, the war with his father only allows so much love to be shown. He must be careful with his heart amid the chaos, or everyone he loves will feel the consequences, which is why he’s called on the help of an old loyal friend who’s just as deadly as he is.

Maddy is coming to terms with the fact that she and Poppa will never be again, while Ricardo uses his unusual coping methods to deal with the fact that Nadia may never return home.

Nadia has found herself at the mercy of Poppa’s evil father. Though she’s been taught survival skills, she isn’t prepared for anything that lies ahead.

As old and new wounds heal and secrets are exposed, everyone will find out who will be there for them when they need them the most.

    Must Read

Maddy jealousy caused her to betray Poppa. Which was foolish being that she had been told over the years how demented and heartless his father is. Her and Ricardo plot backfired. Poppa said his father ZigZag is a monster. As true as that might be. His brother Zenna is definitely a monster as well. Zenna is sickening and disturbing. He is the seed of Chucky. What he did to Beelina was heartbreaking. Nadia refuse to crack and break under pressure for Zenna and ZigZag. She better be glad she was rescued before either of their sick ass harmed her. Beelina was traumatized by what happened to her. I believe she wanted them to kill her. Saw is more calculated and diabolical than the average person. No wonder him and Poppa are good friends. Agasha should've just left well enough alone. I knew she was hurt behind what happened to her family but trying to set Judy up for Zenna to kidnap her. Sealed Agasha fate. Judy shouldn't have listen to anything Agasha said. She should've asked Poppa about it. Instead she took matters into her own hands and made a fool of herself. I was shocked that Essie was a snake. Poppa had his Aunt living in his home not knowing she had a deep rooted hatred towards him. His mother didn't die the way he thought she did either. Now him wondering is his grandmother a snake too.

    🔥🔥

I loved this book. I have it a five star rating, the characters are clear the plot was well written. You will find people you love and hate in the book. But the end result the message was sometimes in life you go through something. Maddy should've be lucky he gave her a way out instead of killing her. Ricardo just got his karma. I really dont think.Zigzag really dead. Zenna deserved his demise. Judy still so green and acted so blind to everything that is happening around her. I hope Poppa and Judy get it together. I think Essie was gonna be a problem, she was a snake that got her head chopped off. Saw came back, saved Nadia and killed Agasha only if she would've leave well enough alone. I really think Saw & Nadia gonna end up together again. Poor Beelina got her own self killed acting dumb. Can't wait until part 2!

    These Folk Never Stop!

Kia, so much jealousy, evilness and just plain ugliness. Just when I thought it would be better here comes some more mess. Although Judy is a different kind of girl, she has the right to feel how she feels but she needs to make a decision to trust Poppa or move along. I did enjoy the twist with Saw and Nadia, Let's see how Maddy will respond now, Everyone got their just karma in my opinion.
I am so proud of Poppa finally opening up. I just pray it's not to late. I believe it's still some snakes in the mix. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

    Poppa and Judy

I read this book in 2 hours. It continued where part 1 left off. I will admit it took me a minute to get back in the swing of things trying to remember the characters since I had read other books in between but once I got back into it, I was all in. Poppa is trying to be a better man for Judy and I love that. Agasha is such a headache to me. Overall great read. Can’t wait see what’s next in part 3.

    Great Read

Judy is really about to drive me crazy. Out of all people why would she believe anything that came from Agasha. Now she probably about to lose Poppa, which is kinda a good thing since he still dismisses her whenever he feels like it. Essie surprised me. You would have never guessed she held so much hatred for Poppa when he loved her so much. I don't know what's gonna come from Saw and Nadia since he married with a football team of his own but I can't wait to find out.💌💌

    POPPA!!!!
I didn't care for Poppa so much in book one, but he made me feel some type of way in book 2. Saw and Nadia, what are y'all going to do. He has a whole football team back home. Judy done messed up with Poppa. How are you going to listen to someone that you know was working with the enemy. And Essie, I kinda liked you because that was my sweet mother's name, but honey you were nothing like my sweet Essie. Ready for Part 3.

    Poppa don't play

Poppa aka Marcel is a man of his word and when he tells you something he means it. Book 2 will give you quite a few surprises and I don't want to give any spoilers on this one because you need to see how it plays out, but if violence triggers you them here is my warning but you got to read book two. I definitely agree with poppa when he got I feel like more disappointed in Judy than made at her. The trust goes both ways

    I sent know....

There was so much to this book. At one point I was bored, then intrigued, confused and then I couldn't wait for it to be over. Didn't care for any of the characters really. Even though I stuck it out, had I known there was a part three, I never would have read it. I won't be reading part three.

    great read

Loved it. So many secrets. I’m happy Nadia got out I can’t wait to read more about Saw. Maddy was wrong for deceiving Poppa and he still cared for her even after everything she did. I hope Judy didn’t lose Poppa for listening to someone else. Zigzag was crazy.

    Wow

There is so much drama and death in this story. The greed and jealousy over money that was never theirs is crazy. Family seems to be the worst enemy and all have met their end. I can't wait for more to see what happens next with these characters.
