I am not a good person.

I'm definitely a liar and a murderer, but this time "justified" isn't going to cover it. I will level the entire f*****g realm if I don't get back what's mine.

The roller coaster that is my life has veered off course and is plummeting head first off a steep cliff. I can't decide if I should keep my eyes open and watch my impending doom or shut them an hope for the best.

With the Underworld split between Satan's followers and Lucifer's followers, Hell has never been more dangerous.

There's only two things I'm certain of:
My demon and I give zero f**ks about Hell's politics -- they're about to find that out the hard way -- and...

I'm Sloane f*****g King.
The High Coven Mistress of Vampyre
and the Druid's Princess.
But don't let those title fool you...
I'm no damsel in distress.

Demon Demands (The Chronicles of Sloane King, #3) Reviews

Now, i have to wait until March 19th for the next book!

I love this series. I know it's all "why choose" and all but I guess I can admit... Vaughn and Novak are my faves. Oh and maybe York too. Oh wait... i forgot Stone. And Palmer. Okay, fine. I love them all.

Also, love the characters list in the back of the book.

What I don't like I guess is that as with books 1 and 2... there really isn't much written regarding their actual physical descriptions. That's literally what keeps this from being a 5 star series.

Okay, that's it! Can't wait to read the next book! Definitely recommend this for fans of PnR RH Fantasy or whatever classification genre this is. Just know it's amazing.

    4.6 stars.
    All the drama.
I really loved all the growth the relationships are getting.
    The sex is hot.
The banter and playfulness is fun and entertaining.
The animal/lower demon companions are honestly adorable.
The fights are violent but not boring.
    The plot keeps plotting.
We’ve got so many irons in the fire right now, I can’t wait to see Sloane slaughter some more down.

Sloane and her mates are back for this third installment of this series!! And M.F Adele takes us on a crazy ride!!

I love these characters so much! In this one we get to know more back stories about Sloane and Jack! We also see relationship building with her mates! We get as much sexy time as we do violence! And I loved every second!!

I don’t know how this author does is but every book gets better and better!

  • Rachel

Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.

Dude this was freaking awesome! Demon Demands is the third book in the Chronicles of Sloane King and it was glorious. I instantly fell in love with the first book and just when I think I couldn't love this series anymore it gets better. There is no way I can write a review to do it justice but I will try.

Let me start off with a few disclaimers, this book was super steamy but it was also violent and I loved it. Sloane has a twisted personality and I loved it. The Sloane from the previous books was sassy, smart (genius level), funny (girl loves to laugh), and quite deadly but you haven't seen anything yet. In this one, Sloane lets her demon out and shit gets not only crazy violent but also just plain crazy. Sloane's demon is like a totally different person and she is crazy AF. I know I've said that about other characters, but this is a whole new level of crazy and it was highly entertaining. To see Sloane's demon interact with her mates and the world around them was interesting, to say the least. I have to say that I like her demon, she is very interesting and her responses are epic. I love it.

One of the things that I love about the series is that Sloane is the ultimate badass. She has all this power because of genetics yes but also because she worked for it. She has all this money but she earned it, she works her butt off for the things she has but she is also very caring and giving. People are the most important to her and it's very evident in this book. I love getting information about Sloane's past, her past with Jack, and with the Drakes who were mentioned in the previous book. This book shows Sloane's complexity as a character and it reminds me why I love her.

The guys and Sloane are getting closer and I love the relationships they are building with her. Some of the guys are a little hesitant for reasons but things aren't as they seem and Sloane has a couple of heart to hearts that are needed to clear things up. However it is clear that Sloane is all-in with the guys, she is opening up to them and they care for her. It's strange that all of them are powerful supernaturals and are her mates but they are approaching their relationship in a very human way, it's different and interesting to see in a world that is so very supernatural.

As for the other characters, as I said previously we get to meet two more characters that have known Sloane for a long time and I loved seeing her interactions with them, people who she is comfortable with, who have known her forever and understand her on a level that the guys don't know yet. Then there is Sloane's family, I love how involved they are with Sloane and her life, the jokes they crack and their overall interactions with Sloane and the guys are great. There was also a new character who stole my heart, Pete is so adorable, and I want more of him.

The world-building was epic. Everyone goes to the Underworld (where Hell is just a city) and it's a brand new world. The lush imaginative descriptions of the world, the plant life, and animals, the society, and politics are all totally different and things are explained excellently. It's not an info dump, the flow of the story was smooth and it all was very interesting.

So much happened in Demon Demands but it wasn't nearly enough. I loved every moment of this book from Sloane's snarky attitude, to the guys trying to figure out their new world while helping Sloane to the different worlds, magic, and supernaturals. Gawd I love this series and I am so excited for the next book in the series, the torture is gonna be real waiting to see what happens next.

    4 stars- loved it!
** i received an arc for an honest review

this is one series that i can honestly say just keeps getting better. the world building and character development is excellent, and the great writing and story flow just enhances the overall experience.

as always, i flove the cover for this book. there are so many little details and easter eggs that make me so obsessed with the art for this series. i love that each cover gets a new guy and that the other guys are still in the back, i love how in this one Sloane has her mate marks and her horns- the details are just insane. i also absolutely love the titles for each book, and all of these things and the story itself makes the readers experience exceptional!

after having read all 3 books out so far, i’ve come to realize that MF Adele does effortless humor like no other. i don’t know how she does it, but she always manages to make me laugh through out the whole book.

as for the characters, i freaking love sloane. she’s so fearless, so secure in herself, and yet still manages to be vulnerable with the people she loves. (although not often, as it gives her hives lmao) she owns her faults and tries to be the best person (err.. hybrid? lol) she can be and is a protector at her core. i also adore each and every one of her guys, although novak is my favorite atm 🤤. the way that the guys interact and tease each other and just generally act like a family really makes my reading experience that much more enjoyable.

as always, the author managed to wrap up the book very nicely and still include something at the end to keep us intrigued and give us a hint about what’s going to happen in the next one. ❤️
would absolutely recommend this series, and honestly have more times than i can count.

This series just gets better and better. I want to be Sloane when I grow up. I love seeing how each individual relationship grows. Up until now Novak was my favorite character but after this book, I'm softening to Vaughn. Seriously fanfriekingtastic read that will keep you glued to your seat from start to finish. Action, love, list, comedy. Its all within the pages of this book and the others in the series. This series is magical.

  • Jennifer Bishop

This is another fantastic book in this awesome series! It is bad a$$! I really do love it! Sloane and the guys are such great characters and I loved seeing their developing relationships, as well as them developing their powers. I also love all the action! I am so excited for the next book in the series!

    So Freaking Good

In this third book of the series Sloane and her mates travel to the underworld to get Jack back. We have a mating ceremony, lots of blood shed, plenty of sarcastic and quick witted remarks and some very hot sexy times. This series just keeps getting better and I can't wait for the next book. I love Pyscho/Demon Sloane.

  • Klizbet

    3.5 stars. Good book, but…

    I can’t decide how to rate this. It’s between a 3.5 and 4 stars

Sloane has the emotional capacity of a turtle and her guys aren’t much better, besides York. They only have sex occasionally, no romance, no intimacy, no emotions. No one even really wants to mate with each other.

Sloane is supposed to be a powerful badass but I’ve hardly seen anything impressive. She’s supposed to be psychotic, but that isn’t portrayed well either. She’s supposed to be intelligent and cunning, but I haven’t seen a trace of that. Her demon is supposed to be the darkest of dark, the most psychotic, evil thing imaginable…but so far it’s just words. Words. And more words. No action on any of this stuff.

Honestly, I’m gonna be sad if this awesome series starts to suck.

    48%
Honestly, the book is starting to drag. Nothing much has happened so far.

    55%
I’m getting really tired of Briggs. He is honestly pushing all my ‘pissed off’ buttons. He’s refusing to have sex with Sloane because he doesn’t want to mate with her until there is ‘love’ and ‘intimacy’ and only when he ‘knows everything about her’….Bitch, how is that gonna happen when you won’t go anywhere near her? He hardly interacts with her at all and stays as far away as he can. I want to kick him out of the harem for being an asshole. He’s the only mate without a legitimate reason for taking things slow.

65% talking, talking, talking…no action happening. They just keep talking about her ominously and giving each other warnings. I’m getting sick of it.

    75%
Battle scenes that are supposed to be about awesome fighting turn sad when Sloane spends more time talking and threatening than being a murderous devil. This happens every single time, it’s so disappointing.

100% relationship-wise it’s improving. Sloane is at least admitting to herself that she has feelings.

P.s. Hyde is more of a badass bitch than Sloane

  • Carol Rupprecht

MF Adele connects the books in this series so seamlessly, immediately starting this one where the previous one left off. I'm enjoying how each book so far has focused on one location dedicated to each member of her group, allowing the reader to get to know that particular guy a bit more as well as allow us to see how well she handles herself in each realm since she will be in control of most of them. With this book you could really tell how Adele focuses on her world building. The depiction of Hell was super vivid and easy to picture in my mind. I feel like she just let her imagination run wild and this was the result: a surprisingly beautiful setting with detailed animals, beings, and plants. Another favorite from this book was the full on appearance of the True Devil. Possessive and protective just like Sloane but 10 times worse, her devil side wasn't quite what I was expecting. Not in a bad way. I expected the transition to be more of a switch off with there being no control whatsoever. However, although hard to hold off, Sloane's devil side was capable of communicating with Sloane in her form and even listened to ideas or suggestions (sometimes). Her devil even has a sense of humor which was fun to see. I feel like from this point on we will see a lot more of her, especially if she and Sloane are able to get on the same page and be more willing to cooperate with each other, to coexist during these transitions. I don't know about anyone else, but I personally get a kick out of watching all of Sloane's enemies bite off more than they can chew with her. Sloane is an unprecedented combination of beings with somewhat of an unlimited power, yet they continue to underestimate her for some idiotic reason. Slowly but surely, Sloane and her group of family and friends are taking out the tier of villains, working their way up from the bottom all the way up to the big guy in charge--How stupid does Raguel have to be to mess with the Kings?! Very much looking forward to seeing what happens next on this crazy journey to save the supernatural community!

    Don't. Touch. What's. MINE!!

I didn’t know if my mates knew how different my demon was from me. Not just the way I looked when I morphed, but the way I’d act. The way we’d act. I hadn’t needed to explain that part of myself to them yet. York knew, though he’d never witnessed it firsthand.

We were two sides of the same coin, sure, but where I was dark... my demon was darker. Where I could be mean, she was downright cruel. Where I was protective of the people I loved, she was possessive and territorial.

If all the killing I’d done was justified... She wanted to bathe in the blood of her enemies. To see her ivory skin dripping in crimson and pick innards from under her talons as she chewed on bones.

Hannibal had just taken one of my — our — loved ones. My family. Her treasure. When she found someone that she cared for, she was worse than a dragon.

My demon didn’t horde gold, jewels, and trinkets. She hoarded the living, breathing things that were dear to our heart. Ours.

And Hannibal had just royally fucked up, signing his soul over to the Third Devil when he took our brother from us. He had no idea of the monster that would soon be knocking on his door.

We wouldn’t need an army behind us to face him, but he would need one to face her wrath. The fury inside of our shared soul would only grow the longer we were away from Jack.

    It keeps getting better!

I have been a fan of this series from the very start, patently waiting for each book to be released, and I have to say DD2 is my favorite so far.

Sloane has progressed so much both personally and in her relationships, esp when you consider the three books have occurred over the span of just a couple of weeks. I loved watching her work on building deeper connections with her mates.

I love all of the fun witty banter in this book. There are some really funny scenes that I couldn't stop laughing while reading. I also really enjoy the world M.F. has built. Her descriptions for the underworld are beautiful.

The steam factor is oh so delicious in this book. We finally got an encounter that I have personally been waiting for. Ugh so good.

The True Devil came out to play in this book, aka Sloane's demon form. She is possessive and a bit psycho and I'm here for every moment of it! I loved getting a glimpse of things from her perspective.

The epilogue at the end has me so excited for the next book. I can't wait to see where things go from here!

  • Danyelle Williams

Why is this series so good?!

What can you say about solane king. She is such a bad a** character you just never know what's going to happen. But she's not just tough in this book we really get to see the side of her that she doesn't like to show. We get to see how she cares about the people around her and will do anything for them.

There is so much growth between solane and her men in this book as they journey through the underworld to get her treasure Jack back. While also taking care of a couple of other thinks on solanes todo list.

Without giving it away....the chapters with vaughn being crazy were freaking hilarious to read. Definitely a favorite part in this book. Can't wait to see what happens when they travel to the shifter community...I'm sure all types of craziness

  • Angie

Demon Demands is the fun filled continuation to The Chronicles of Sloane King Series, its a perfect combination of scorching hot scenes, a psycho badass FMC, and sexy as hell mates. My mini obsession with Sloane has only increased with every book and Demon Demands is no exception. The author does an amazing job with showing tremendous character growth for Sloane while still maintaining her untouchable status. We get a peek of her humanity beneath the monster. Her mates are constantly pushing her to grow in different ways and to open herself up, I really enjoyed seeing different sides of her through their interactions.

This book was full of not only fun but tons of action and a slew of new discoveries that will leave your head spinning with excitement for what’s to come next! Shifter Situations can’t release soon enough!

  • Jackie

A new reader needs to start with book 1, or will be lost, as the books in this series jump right in after the last book stops. This book flowed well, and held my attention. The relationships are slow to develop in this series, that I want to say this is a slow burn. Sloane is a an interesting character that is easy to read about. I really haven't developed any specific attachments to any of the 6 guys -to start caring about them a lot. There's some confusion about the claiming of the mates that sort of has me thrown a bit, not sure but think she only has 2 left to claim from the 6 (is it just sex or something more, cause she's had sex with all of them at this point I thought, but not all are mate marked). Sometimes this came across as a little over the top to the point of being unbelievable, but not to the point of rolling my eyes or wanting to quit. I am actually looking forward to book 4 when it comes out to see where things go.

  • Charlotte

    *Spoiler Alert*
After that ending with Jack getting taken hostage Sloane (FMC), Grim and the guys (Briggs, York, Vaughn, Stone, Novak and Palmer) all set out to to get him back. My god did i love the addition of Doyle and Hyde. They are a riot to read. Comedy gold was Jack's Clone-a-w***y and Vaughn being off his face drunk. I literally cracked up reading that!!! It was so bloody hilarious. Omg can i just appreciate the steam level in this book. Holy hotness a threesome with Sloane, Vaughn & Novak (Just Wow!!!) same goes for Sloane & Briggs (my god that was just smoking hot). So Good!!! That ending was just knockout. Im totally dying to get my hands on the next book. Im loving this series so much. Its a brilliant read

  • 4foxsake

    Hellish good time.

It was great to get to know Sloane’s demon 😈 and her friends in hell, not to mention more about Stone and the others. I also was glad to see certain someone’s remove their heads from their butts, Sloane showing...feelings and Palmer finally sharing his burden. Vaughn and the green beer incident was quite possibly my favorite part of the book. This series is great and it’s only going to get more intense as Sloane and the guys get closer to the pot stirrer 😇 on high.

Even though Sloane sprinkled badarserry throughout the story, it was really great to see that softer side, even though it freaked her out. Without it she was too cold and it really enhanced the story. Also, I want a Pete. ❤️

  • Karissa Kirk

I absolutely love this series! M.F. Adele has given us these amazing characters that we learn more and more about through each book as the story progresses. Demon Demands is the perfect combination of action and romance giving us a dose of adrenaline as well as these little moments Sloane gets with the guys to connect and learn more about each other. And Sloane...We’ve already been given multiple reasons to think she’s a bad ass but here we are several books into the series and we’re shown even more reasons why she kicks ass. Aside from her awesome personality, her powers reach new heights and I can’t help but love her all around! We also see more of what the guys can do and get to see them in action. I cannot wait to see what the future books hold and where the story will take us. We have some idea what’s to come but there’s a lot that can happen and I love the unpredictability.

  • Dominique

I absolutely adore this series! With each book we get deeper insight into Sloane and her guys' backgrounds while seeing genuine character development occurring. There is the perfect amount of steam and I can't help but love Sloane's psychotic ways. She's a fantastic character that I grow to love more each time I read about her. The story continues to be action packed and progressing at a rate that keeps you interested through to the end. I get the feeling this series will forever be a favorite!

  • Rachel (Galaxy Girl Reads)

    AMAZING.

Start to finish, devoured every word. This world, this mate bond, this MC?! They're everything I could want in a story.

Sloane is a bad*** on even her worst days. Her mates are intense and uniquely perfect for her. The drama of the end of the world keeps me guessing. The sex scenes are incredible. The side characters kill me.

In the next books, I look forward to seeing more of Hyde and more mate bonds and just MORE.

MF Adele kills the PNR game. Literally, nothing really compares to her writing.

  • Catherine Kroeger

M.F. Adele has outdone herself! Every book in this series gets better and better leaving you wanting more! I love all the twists and turns of this series! There are many pieces to the puzzle that Sloan and her mates are trying to piece together. In this book, we are introduced to Sloane's demon, and damn she is Awesome!!! I love her possessiveness! She takes mine to a whole new level. The story left us did not leave us with a big cliffhanger, but man the epilogue makes we want to have the next book now!!! I may be partial to Briggs!

  • Leanne F

    Brilliant!!!

Without a doubt one of the better RH PNR series written. Sassy FMC keeps collecting her boys and fighting the hordes in the deserts of the Underworld. Book three, as with the others, is a page turning, edge of your seat brilliant read. Set in the homeland of her third mate and her grandparents, Lucifer and Lilith, the imagery and senses will be alive in this book ... but the final chapter throws that whole SHTF moment in your face. Fiery 6 star read. On to Book Four!!!

  • Charlotte Battersby

This is another brilliant book by M.F Adele! I adore this series so much. I need a pocket sized Pete in my life, where can I get one? We get to meet more of Sloane's close family who reside in Hell, more of her hidden projects and more secrets unveiled. I love Hyde and want to see more of her and Doyln. I'm glad Palmer decided to open up to Sloane. Can't wait to see what happens next with Sloane and her mates in the next book! Excited for it and I recommend this series to everyone and anyone! Also I love Novak, he is such a trouble maker in the best way!

  • Jennifer

Demon Demands is the third book in this series where Sloan and her mates travel to the underworld to rescue Jack. In this book we see Sloan starting to get more comfortable with her mates and you start to see a different less ruthless side to her, which I loved. There were a few new twists and turns in this one and Palmer finally comes clean about what he was keeping from Sloan. The cliffhanger in the end was a doozy, so I am anxious to read the next one about all the shifters.

  • Kelly Bugler

    Brilliant series.
Sloane is on the warpath after her best friend is taken. Unfortunately this means releasing her demon, who is a possessive, angerous beast. not afraid of anything and just wants vengeance on those who wish to harm her treasures. As Sloane delves deeper into the pits of hell do her mates stand by her and get closer or do they still try and keep their distance from her.
This is a brilliant series and i cannot wait to get my hands on the next.

  • Reyne Clark

Demon Demands is such a fun book to read! The whole cast of characters are entertaining through-out and Sloane King is my new favorite heroine with her badass, take no prisoners attitude. M F Adele has written an enjoyable, imaginative, and original Paranormal Why Choose Series and I can not wait for book #4! If you are looking for a different kind of read, with sass and steam, grab this Series now! 4 Stars!
