I am not a good person.

I may have lied about the "occasional murder spree" bit, but I did say it was justified, right? It totally is, I swear.

Over the last week countless heads have rolled, mine included. My life is becoming a roller coaster. Not the fun kind either. It;s the kind that makes you sick when your feet finally hit the ground.

All of my mates are now living under one roof. My roof. Y'all, this ebony tower just got really f*****g crowded.

The trail to stop that drug just keeps getting deeper. Now, my guys and I are off to deal with the kind of psycho that makes me look like an innocent angel.

More bloodshed is coming, and it always comes at a price.

I'm Sloane f*****g King, Druid Princess.
But don't let that title fool you... I'm no damsel in distress.

Whoa! This series packs one hell of a throat punch! Sloane effing King is an opinionated aggressive bad@ss that is unapologetically one of the best FMCs I have ever read. That's saying something because I read a lot! This is number 352 this year and it's definitely in the top tier.

I love the guys. It's fun getting to know them. My only complaint for this series is that there aren't physical descriptions for each of the male characters. I do have a suggestion though. Like it was done in this book at the end with the character information, I'd love to see their descriptions since there's not much on the books.

    4.4 stars.
So, we’re really gonna get 7 plots in these 7 books, huh?
    Not complaining.
But damn is that a lot of bullshit for these characters to get through.

Either way, I’m still liking it.
This author isn’t all that good at keeping secrets, but it’s still fun.

I’m excited to see where all the relationships grow.
The sex and banter is really fun so far.

Sloane (FMC) is definitely a fly by the seat of her pants kinda gal. When anyone threatens her, her family or any of her guys shes all in with her bad*** self. In this book its no different to the first one except theres more blood, action and sex. Just when you think shes done with one bad guy/girl another pops up. That cliffhanger ending is an example of that. There isnt on character i dont like in this series from Sloane and her guys to Jack (my favourite), Grim & the Hellhounds who seem to have a lot of human qualities. Im just loving this series so much. Its a flaming brilliant read. Witty, Funny, Steamy and action-packed. Has it all

The second installment to The Chronicles of Sloane King is absolutely spectacular! Full of action and laugh out loud moments. The fun didn’t stop as I read each chapter, and that jaw dropping ending was perfect taste of what’s to come for Book 3.

Sloane King is one of my favorite female main characters with her sass and don’t give f*** attitude. This book allowed us to see not only her strength in mind and power, but also her vulnerabilities. She is the anti-hero that you root for, and that is what makes her the best. Sloane is the perfect model for female empowerment throughout so many moments in this book, that I look forward to seeing how she does in the other realms showing off how unstoppable she can be. I definitely fell in love more with her harem of men as well. We get to see different sides of their personalities and glimpses as to what awaits us in the future installments of this series. Personally, Novak is my all time favorite out of all of them. I am strictly #TeamNovak, but will welcome a little Briggs and Stone! All the relationships are growing in their own way, even as Sloane shows some trepidation, we still see some really great moments of growth from all of the men.

If you haven’t read book 1, Druid Dreams, then you need to take a night and start. Its only bound to get better and better with each book. Warning-- you will be extremely excited and want to shout when you get to the end of Book 2. Keep Calm, Book 3 is just around the corner!

Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.

I have no words, I cannot properly express how much I love Vampire Visions, it's the second book in the Chronicles of Sloane King series and it was EPIC. Adele did not disappoint with the second book, so much happen, I was so emersed in the story and I did not want to leave. I said before that this is the type of story that I always wished for and Adele has made my dreams come true, again.

    Really where to start...

The characters are amazing, I got to know more about Sloane, Jack, Grim, and the guys, some of their backstories was revealed and I got to learn more about each of their personalities and all I can say is that I love them even more now. Sloane is just that badass chick who you can't help but like, she is fierce, stubborn, sassy, a genius, fiery, impulsive, caring and so much more. I love her quirkiness, her demented sense of humor, and her violent tendencies. She is strong, independent, and confident and we need more characters like that. She doesn't really need the help but she likes it, there isn't really a tragic backstory and she didn't come into her power, she was born and breed for her role as top dog in the supernatural world and that is so very refreshing. I want more characters like Sloane King.

As for Sloane's close relationships, Jack is her brother/best friend and I love the two troublemakers together, they are as tight as siblings can be and their interactions are hilarious. A few other members of Sloane's family have bigger roles and it was interesting seeing the family interact, it was heartwarming and I loved it so much. They are all very much a part of each other lives and keeps the others informed about what's going on.

They guys... I love all the guys, they very much have an important group dynamic, they were already family before they knew about Sloane and I think that will most definitely help the group in the future. While the guys each have their own baggage, I mean they have a lot of secrets, they still can hold their own and has Sloane's back no matter how crazy things get, they are there. What is driving me crazy is that each of Sloane's relationships with the guys are at a different level so with some it's a fast-burn while with others there is a slow-burn relationship happening but they all have a connection and are trying to build a relationship with her. The overall group dynamic is excellent, they all laugh at each other, make fun, and have a good time with each other that is when things aren't crazy.

Vampire Visions is just one of those books that I could not get enough of. I was so immersed in the story, I loved it! I loved every second of it and was so very sad when it ended. The world-building is really great, so far the story is kinda concentrating on one type of supernatural at a time, learning the most about them and their world while still adding tidbits about other magical communities. I also loved learning more about the magic in this world and I can't wait to see more. One of my favorite parts is when the magic with the Void is explained, that was also one of my favorite scenes in the book.

Things are just crazy, enemies coming from all angles, mysteries dropping left and right, complicated relationships, evil brewing in the background, and a huge fucking plot-twist, I have no idea what's gonna happen next and I loved that. I have so many questions and I want so many things to happen, waiting for the next book is gonna be torture.

I'm so in love with this series!

This book started off with a bang! The prologue had me cracking up and gave us some good insight into Novak. Once we hit chapter one we are immediately picking things up where the first book ended. Expect to have a seamless transition between books because everything you loved from book one is carried over into book two.

I love being on this nonstop adventure with Sloane. She is such a badass character, but was still able to show us some growth in this book.

I am seriously rooting for her to deepen her relationships with all the guys. I love it when we get to learn new details about them. I also love seeing when they have both adorable and steamy moments with Sloane. Speaking of steamy, there are some HOT moments in this book!

We also had some new characters introduced in this book. I'm usually not one to pay much attention to side characters but M.F. Adele crafts them so beautifully that I can't help but adore them.

This book is just as fast paced and full of action as the first one and I absolutely can't wait to dive into the third one. No seriously M.F. Adele I'm looking at you girl!

Once again, this book holds so much potential. I love the way that this author can bend words to her will and be so unique with her ideas and storytelling. She can craft sentences with such elegance and finesse that you can fall into this word that she has created and lose yourself. But then again, losing yourself is not always a good thing.

There were places throughout this book where I was just lost, whether it was a sudden plot twist that threw me or once again attempting to keep up with the many characters present throughout this book, and all the little details that came with them, making up for the lack of detail about each character in the first book. Once again, there were times when information was just dumped on the reader and we had to just go with it, without it really being properly integrated into the plot. The constantly changing perspectives occasionally got a little repetitive, unnecessarily repeating information that we had previously heard from someone else. I once again got out my notebook and had to keep notes on character descriptions, personality traits and other quirks to make sure the details stayed the same and so I could keep track of everyone throughout the entire book. And once again, spelling and grammar errors, inconsistencies with tenses and the differing tones of each character kept pushing me out of the book and interrupting my flow. It was still quite messy throughout, but altogether more polished than the first book.

Despite all that, Sloane King is still the FMC everyone either loves or loves to be jealous of. She has six smoking hot guys (and yes, the relationships to develop more organically throughout this book). She can take care of herself, she is the big, bad boss lady that everyone fears and yet adores at the same time. She takes no prisoners, she is strong and fierce and yes, I do desperately want a little bit more Sloane King in my life. She is an incredibly powerful main character and she is holding this book together. Without Sloane in the lead, I think this book would potentially suffer a little. Still, this author has produced an amazing follow up to her debut novel, a story that will leave you on the edge of your seat. If you love sexy vampires, smouldering fae, hot shifters, smoking demons, dreamy druids and mysterious mages, then this is definitely the book for you. You will not find another book like this.

Woo. That cliffhanger had me feeling like Rose at the end of Titanic.

I wasn't sure if book two could top Druid Dreams, but in this case, I'm happy to be wrong! Vampire Visions was amazing! Sloane was still just as bad*ss, possibly even more so, as in the first book. Her powers continue to grow and she learns new ways on how to process and possess her magic. Despite being this mega powerhouse of a hybrid with wealth to boot, she doesn't thrive on the power she possesses. Yes, having that much power is very helpful in their current situation, but Sloane never holds her power over anyone's head or uses it to put others down (unless they deserve to be hurt). She's this super strong, amazingly sarcastic and witty woman, but she uses her powers and money to better the supernatural communities. She has this vulnerability about her that really draws me in. I love her for everything that she is, but the best thing about her is knowing that she is just a regular person. One that giggles and slides across the floor in knee high socks. One who fights for those she loves. One who watches the sunrise and daydreams of what life could be if every crazy and stressful thing happening would just disappear.
Besides Sloane being her fantastic self, the guys really stepped up in this book. They still harbor many secrets, but a few have been opening up even more. We got to see different sides to some of them, a softer or more romantic side, a dominating side. There was also that one sweet moment when Jack and Grim were questioning the guys about Sloane and how they feel. You'll know it when you get to it. I loved hearing what she meant to them.
M.F. Adele also writes some awesome side characters. Usually these types of characters get forgotten or put on the back burner until a fight scene where they are needed. Having Jack and Grim being involved so often has made this read even better. The mindspeak, the banter, the joking, the unyielding support..it just improves the already fantastic quality of this book. I can't wait to continue on this adventure with Sloane and her family. There's already so much going on, but it will be exciting to see how the chess pieces are moved on the board.

The second book was even better than the first which the first book was pretty darn good. Continuing on from the first book, there weren’t many moments to stop and take a deep breath but the excitement fueled my need to continue reading page after page until I reached the end. It was one thing after another for Sloane and her guys but there were plenty of moments where you felt like you got to know just a little bit more about them. I need more though! I feel like we’ve gotten more of a feel for Novak’s personality but not too much of the others. I may be just a tiny bit biased because Novak has been my favorite since book one. I also love interactions between Jack and Sloane. They crack me up! I can’t wait to read the next book though and hopefully we’ll get more out of a few specific individuals. Great continuation!!!!

I love this series 🖤 the world and the characters are so well thought out!

I’m a big fan of Multi POV when it’s done properly, and this doesn’t disappoint or fall flat.

The chemistry between them all is really good and felt by the reader, and the smut scenes are too! Would like a little more detail and for them to not be quite as rushed.

I think there is a lot of action within the books (which is great!) but I’m not sure if the action to character development ratio is a little leaning and not quite balanced. As mentioned, the intimate scenes feel a little quick and also some instances where you would get to know the characters a bit more is skipped (8 hour road trip etc). But that might just be as I’m attached to all the characters and desperate to get to know them more 😅

But would definitely recommend the series, and I’m impatient to read the next book 🤭

  • Mrs R

You need to have read the first book, I clearly have a bad memory as a lot of the first few chapters made no sense as I couldn't remember everything that had happened. I couldn't even remember which of the males were her mates or friends and what species they all were. I apparently need to start making detailed notes when I read a book, lol.
Sloane is a hybrid and has an abundance of different powers and abilities and can kick anyone to the ground, there doesn't seem to be anything she doesn't excel at and all her mates worship her.
The story is great and will keep you reading, there is also a good balance of action, plot and scene with mates.
It ends on a cliffhangernsono can't wait to see what book 3 brings.

There are No Time Constraints On Love

Her laugh was infectious. I loved her like this; so carefree and relaxed.

    Wait. Back up.

Was that what this tightening in my chest was whenever I saw her happy? Was that love?

I knew that the affection I felt for Sloane was more than lust. Before, the unsealed bond would pull me toward her, but it didn’t affect my feelings for her.
The way I felt about her had only intensified, but I wasn’t sure if it was too soon to love her. Was it?

Did love come with a timestamp? You must invest six months or more before you can say you love someone.

Nah, fuck that. I wasn’t an expert, but I was pretty damned sure that wasn’t how it worked. The heart just wanted what it wanted. And mine wanted hers, even more now than before.

  • Dominique

In Vampire Visions, we jump right back into Sloane's life with her new found mates. As they try to navigate their new relationships, they are also trying to figure out who is trying to destroy all of the supernatural races. Through all the twists, Sloane still proves to be an epic character that I only wish I could emanate. The guys all seem to fit with her as well. The banter is absolutely fantastic which gives a bit of reprieve between the heavy bits. Sloane's story is just so well written you can't help but want to jump in and end up begging for more! The cliffhanger left wanting so. Much. More!

    Brilliant Series

Well. Book Two has lived up to the awesomeness that Book One was. This has to be one of the best series out there for PNR RH. Character development is perfect and there are a few twists and turns to keep life interesting. The ending, of course, will not disappoint! A cliffhanger for sure but not heart stoppingly so.

Can’t wait to begin Book Three. Know there are seven planned in this series. On a normal day I would probably baulk at that but hey! It’s not a normal day and this storyline will endure seven books with leftovers!

Huge hellish 6 star read. Add to your TBR. Sassy, steamy and badass. Take your pick it won’t disappoint.

  • Charlotte Battersby

Just finished this and absolutely adored this again! I am in love with Sloane King and her mates but especially love Jack and Grim! I'm excited to see where the next book takes us in regards to Jack! I love that we're finding out more about his past. Learning about Palmer's reason for distancing himself from Sloane and the others slightly has me intrigued to see how that will play out in the future! So happy with the yummy scene at the end with Stone, York and Novak! So excited for the next installment! Really happy with how it's unfolding but keeping us gripped at every turn!

  • Reyne Clark

Vampire Visions by MF Adele is such a fantastic follow up to the first book in this Series, Druid Dreams. It continues the storyline of Sloane King and her merry band of mates and cohorts as they wreck havoc while trying to save the Supernatural world. It is both funny and sarcastic, as well as, fast paced and intriguing. I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the different characters better with each book Adele writes. I can't wait to see what happens next when they plunder the Underworld in Demon Demands! 5 Fantastic Stars!

  • Danyelle Williams

    Loved it! Devil and all

I absolutely adore these characters....all of them even the bad guys. The author does such a good job giving these characters each such great personalities.

After the crazy ending of book one we get to see what unfolds with Solan and her mates. We get to see more of her dad's. I really enjoy her parents 🙂.

More of the mystery is unfolded as they all try to figure out the next move. One thing is for certain the worst thing you can do is put the ones that Solan cares about in danger....you will not like the outcome 😈

  • Harley

The cliffys are gonna be the end of me, I swear to god.

I've been in love with Sloane and Jack and her men and their adventures and troubles since book one, and book two did not even disappoint. It might have been even better than the first to be honest.

I'm in love with Sloane, like I wanna be a part of her harem bahaha.

I have so many questions, and it's like every time ONE, just one gets answered, fifty more pop up in it;s place. URGH.

Deffo need the next book asap please please. MF Adele is a MF amazing writer.

  • Catherine Kroeger

This book was so good, I am not sure where to even start. We learn more about Sloane and her mates. I love that each story is a focus on one mate and their realm but no one is excluded in the storyline. Sloane is just a kick-ass anti-hero who is also funny, lovable, and trouble! Each character has such depth and complexity and you just want to know more. I love that even though we are left with a cliffhanger, we are given a snippet of what is to come in the epilogue, which just makes me want more now! I am so excited to see where this story goes next!

  • Nicole Hale

I have been so excited for this book and I am so glad it’s finally here. I loved book one so much but this one blew me away!! I will not post any spoilers but it was amazing.

Sloane King and her mates are back!! So much happens in this book it was freaking amazing! From making her mate connections stronger to taking on all the problems of the supernatural world!! And that freaking ending!! I can’t wait for Book three so Sloane King can go to hell to raise some hell!!!!

  • Blair Parent

Absolutely amazing! Sloane and her guys are back, and things are getting interesting. Bonds are sealed, York has a revelation about their last fight before he was taken, Novaks's vision comes to light and secrets are revealed, though not to the person they should be. There are twists and turns around every corner. I love that this series is multiple point of view and it is very well written. I cannot wait for book 3! The cliffhanger was a doozy too, so be prepared.

  • Kayla Dunagan

I struggled through this book. It has so much potential and the story line and world is so extensive with so many faucets. I just feel like something wasn't executed. I wasn't able to connect with any of the characters and every scene just felt rushed. I wasn't able to get any angst, tears, laughter, or anything. I will continue to read the series because I want to know how the story plays out, but I still haven't really connected with any of the guys or the main FMC.

  • Esmeralda Silva Tenazinha

I loved the first book and this one is even better! Sloane is such a bad ass Hybrid, druid princess! Yeah princess... The good evil kind for sure! But she has many more titles to add. And I just can't wait to see how things will go from here! This books are great , the whole story line is incredible, so many paces they still need to go! I hope each mate has his own book. It really gives the story more depht. Great book.

  • Katie

I absolutely love Sloane. She is bada$$. Entire storyline is fantastic. I was so happy for the cliffhanger. I know weird right. Cause that means that the series is continuing!!!! Yes there is a book 3. Hopefully coming soon cause I really need it!!! This author is one of the best writers ever. Absolutely loved this story. This is book 2 so definitely read book 1 first. Read this series you won’t regret it!!

  • Meagan

    Loved it!

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one I just loved! We start to learn more about Sloane and her guys and watch as they start to settle into their newfound relationships. Adele does a great job with character development. Despite featuring a larger harem, each guy has a distinct personality and characteristics, managing to stand out as individuals. Plot advances well, new discoveries made, though as some questions are answered, new ones arise, which kept me engaged and guessing at what’s to come. And oh my word - that ending! So. Dang. Good! I can’t wait to read the next one!
