This book provides easy-to-understand explanations with many photos of how animals living in the mountains behave at different times of the day.
In grasslands, animals are constantly faced with life and death.
Animals living in the mountains have no place to hide from predators and live in harsh conditions where they cannot relax for even a few seconds.
What caught my attention was the llama species.
Alpacas are covered in fluffy fur and are very cute.
I would like to touch the alpaca. -
This is another good independent read for 3rd grade. Children who are interested in animals and geography will love this book. It is an informational text. Great for boys.
