  This is the facsimile of the special souvenir number that Shipbuilder published on the occasion of the Mauretania's service launching in 1907, all the original pages are reproduced, and new material from the sister ship Lusitania published in Shipbuilder, a selection of advertisements that appeared in the same magazine and an appendix with the chronology of the sister ships has also been added. It is highly recommended for vessel buffs, especially due to the decent prices that are often found compared to the high prices usually asked for the available editions of the original issue, although more care should have been taken with the quality of the copy, especially the type of paper and the images that were originally in color here appear black and white
