The Voidgod is back and the Alvaren Queen is now convinced that Maulkin is the second coming of the Voidgod himself, but at least they have the totally awesome magic sword made out of the weapon that put the big bad down for a long nap last time!
No wait, they don’t. The first thing Araphel did after stretching and yawning was to turn it to dust.
But it is all going to work out fine if Maulkin, the dumbest man in the known universe, can work out how to do what the gods themselves haven’t been able to since the dawn of time, and put Araphel down.
What could possibly go wrong?

Final rating is for the audiobook version. LD did a great job. =)
Savage Dominion is a tidy trilogy. The authors did a nice job of completing the story arc within three books. Overall pacing for the plot lines could have been better. You need to turn off your brain a bit and just enjoy the ride. The concepts for the series are great! I wish they were developed a bit more within the story vs told to the readers in odd clumps.
It's a fun little action-adventure with a lot of mythological mashups & what I would phrase as "teen humor". You can be 60 years old and still have crass teen humor. XD
I'm glad the trilogy ended on a much better note than I had expected. Gotta celebrate the little YaYs! -
I will let the book review itself.
"Sometimes, the only sane thing to feel in the face of something this pointless and brutal was hate."
I read the whole thing, it was pointless and brutal and I hated it. -
It was OK!
