The Boss's Bride (Possessive Kingpins) Reviews

  • april ♡ is probably reading smut

"He was a devil through and through, but he was mine. He had locked me up but given me the keys to his kingdom, and I was free for the first time in my life."

Gia Bailey has a way of writing short novels that keep you so entertained! I loved Suna and Vincenzo together. This has an arranged marriage trope, but the author put a spin on it- Suna stabbed the man she was supposed to marry four years ago. Will Vincenzo suffer the same fate?

This book was short, sweet, and super sexy. I enjoyed it. A lot was packed into the pages! This is a very safe read with a virgin heroine, a mafia hero who falls first, and lots of steam to keep you wanting more.

"I’d never leave this man, and he’d never let me."

I removed 1 star because it's a shame it was this rushed, they had so much potential, i truly liked them
I HAD to remove another star because instead of calling her tesoro (treasure) the author wrote it wrong..calling her TESORA and i was really annoyed by it xD.

Suna and Vincenzo are arranged to get married. They both are in mafia families. Vincenzo is older than Suna. Suna has a reputation of a “black widow” because her last husband died the day before her wedding to him. This was a good book lots of steam and it was super fast paced! I really did enjoy it !

Vincenzo is the heir of the Luciano mafia family and has to marry the oldest daughter of a rival family. Suna Song is the oldest daughter and has to bite the bullet😉 Rumors fly she killed her first fiance and now she tries to escape the second engagement. But Vincenzo has other ideas. As soon as he sees Suna in person his whole agenda changes. He sees his bride to be and is instantly smitten. Instalove, age gap, mafia themed, romantic, steamy, fun to read and safe with a sweet HEA😍😍😍😍 and action too. Can't wait for Antonio to get his woman and how he will have to work for it 🤣

Wow! I devoured this page turner.
Vincenzo and Suna's story drew me in within a matter of pages. It's a well written page turner with a compelling storyline and strong likeable characters. There's action, danger, drama, suspense, emotions, intense chemistry, steamy sexy scenes, romance and love that will keep you engrossed until the end.

This is the first book of what promises to be a thrilling series.
    Highly recommended.

    A Mafia Romance🔥🔥

I absolutely LOVE this story! It was captivating, engaging, some action and beautiful. Suna is getting an arranged marriage. She is beautiful, smart, and dangerous. She is wants her freedom from her family. Vinceno is the Mafia king. He is handsome, smart, and unexpected. He is a very dangerous man. I love these two! The writing was done beautifully and flows throughout the book. I am becoming a fan of Gia. I don't want to give too much away. A must read! Amazing work Gia Bailey!

    Suna and Vincenzo

Very structured plot gor such short story. Very impressed.
Vincenzo is the heir of one of the most feared mafia families in New York, but with that came responsibilities and expectations. Having his father arrange his marriage to a rival family to strengthen alliences is one of them and he is more than willing to do his duty. The problem? His new fiance is know to have killed her previous intended the night before the wedding. 😉😈🤣
Fun read. Can't wait to read Antonio's story. Highly recommended

I wasn't sure I would like this. Suna really didn't want to get married and forced Mafia romances can be good but this one started a little shaky for me. She just seemed so sad and that bothered me. But once she got to know Enzo, and he got to know her, the story got better and this turned out to be a good story. Great plot and chemistry and the ending was terrific.

A fantastic introduction to a new series. Deliciously dark and sinful, this is a book that won't disappoint. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

This was a fantastic book. I loved the connection, undeniable chemistry, pull and tension between Vincenzo and Suna. Suna just wanted to be free but she's afraid that she will be even more trapped when she is forced to marry Vincenzo. Vincenzo never wanted to marry but once he meets his feisty bride, he won't let her go. I can't wait for the next book, and the rest of this very promising series.

As heir to the Luciano family, Vincenzo has known that he would have to marry and his bride has already been arranged. Vincenzo and Suna come from two mafia rival families and they are a perfect match. This is a quick read packed with Mafia drama and danger, interesting characters, insta love, steam, and a great ending. The Boss's Bride is book one in the Possessive Kingpins series and I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Gia Bailey has been one of my favorite authors for a long time... this book is a great example of why! Suna has a reputation.... he last fiance died before their wedding. Now there is another arranged marriage joining two mafia families.... she is to marry Vicenzo. Their meeting was great! Their chemistry is out of this world! I really enjoyed this story!

  • ObsessiveReader

This is a quick story. Great if you want to squeeze a little reading in a short amount of time. I enjoyed it and plan to read the story about Rafe which is part of another series.

Vincenzo and Suna have an arranged mafia marriage. Neither is looking forward to it. That is until Vincenzo actually meets and interacts with Suna. After that, no other will do for him.

Suna's past makes her very leery of marriage and while attracted to Vincenzo, she still would rather not marry him. Luckily she warms to the idea.

The Boss's Bride: An Age-Gap Mafia Instalove (Possessive Kingpins) By Gia Bailey. This was a short story and very good . Vincenzo and Suna they both have met their match . Although, their attraction can not be denied . I enjoyed it and recommend it.

This was a good crime family romance. Suna and Vincenzo had a rough start to their arranged marriage but they had loads of chemistry. The storyline was interesting and I liked it.

Mafia boss and his black widow

For a story so short, it did not feel like it. There was instant chemistry between the leading couple, the couple changed and grew together as the story went, and of course, a bloody-ish climax fitting a mafia boss. Overall, a great quick read.

  • Michele

Two mafia families form a business contract sealed with a marriage between the families. Not everyone is excited about the marriage especially the bride, but she underestimated her groom. Great characters, lots of heat and just a little drama to spice up the story.

I get it is a short story but still maybe don't tell her you love her after seeing her twice 😅 it had potential for the longer story.
