Beware of the night, for it shows no mercy.

Anxieties run rampant as the last sprinklings of light twinkle out on the inky horizon. The shadows dance their choreography in the damp, dusky air. Night is taking over, and it knows how to keep a dark and deadly secret, for it allows no witnesses. And that screaming you hear nearby? Watch out, because you might be next.

The Sinister Supernatural Stories series brings you delicious horror that focuses on elements of the supernatural. Pull up a chair and dig in, but never after dark—everyone knows bad things always happen after dark.

Contains stories by Nick Roberts, Matthew R. Davis, Alexandr Bond, Scott Harper, R.E. Sargent, Richard Clive, Renee M.P.T. Kray, Warren Benedetto, Daniel O’Connor, Steven Pajak, Curtis A. Bass, David Rider, Gary Robbe, Scotty Milder, and William Malmborg.

Screaming in the Night (Sinister Supernatural Stories, #1) Reviews

  • Bren fall in love with the sea.

    Fear. Terror.

Do you like your books to scare you?

Do you like dark and eerie reading, the kind where you cannot get to sleep with the lights off because you're afraid of what might be lying in wait when the darkness moves in?

Are you a fan of psychological horror, timeless and original tales that will have the hair on the back of your neck standing up on end?

The types of stories that will have you quivering -- leave you tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep as your mind winks at you, filled with the stories and characters you've just read about?

If you like this type of book -- and really -- who doesn't -- then read this.

It will scare the crap out of you. It will have you screaming in the night.

With more than just a touch of evil, the stories will not leave you easily -- if they ever leave you at all.

I must mention a few stories. I loved all of them but just a few to mention:

    Sally under the bed:

The NAME of this story alone is creepy enough! The story is just one big wow.

I do Thee Woe -- this one would be great on Broadway for reasons I cannot get into.

Stayed Awake All Night -- I am a big fan of this particular writer, R.E. Sargent. Besides being an outstanding writer, his stories always have a twist, usually the type I cannot seem to figure out. This one was no different and it is the best of the best -- You Rock.

A thing of beauty -- one of the most unusual horror stories I've ever read and unexpectedly touching. Loved it.

Interior Light -- Natural born killers would fear the protagonists in this story.

So, no spoilers were mentioned, no secrets were given away. This is horror in its purest, most organic and eerie form. Five stars.

SCREAMING IN THE NIGHT — SINISTER SMILE PRESS🔥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥This was an AWESOME collection of stories and I honestly cannot wait for volume 2 one day! I especially enjoyed Sally Under the Bed, Johnny’s Got a Gun and Interior Light. But all of the stories were definitely creepy and highly entertaining.

A great and scary read! Enjoyed all of the stories. The Kind People of Denary is a beautiful creepfest.

listened to this book on Audible. While the stories were pretty good and had a bit of creep factor, the narration was terrible.
