This book does a great job of explaining why we think we need nicotine, why we think it relieves stress, helps us relax or concentrate. As it turns out nicotine doesn’t do those things. A lot of the book references smoking but the author focuses on nicotine as the main problem which is good because this books works for vapers, chewers, Zyners. If you think nicotine makes your life better, give this a read.
Only 3 days off of my Zyns now but I’m feeling positive about quitting this time. I read This Naked Mind for alcohol and haven’t had a drink for 115 days. Just need her to come out with a Naked Mind for not eating entire rows of Double Stuf Oreos and then I think I’ll have all my vices kicked. -
WOW, this book is so good! Highly recommend for anyone curious about the effects of nicotine - whether you just know others with the addiction or have one yourself. I found it more interesting than a Netflix documentary ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
