I was totally set up!!!! Had I known this would be another “to be continued” I would’ve waited because that cliffhanger has me STUCK!!! The drama just kept on pushing in book two of this series. Ivy has come into her own as a Queen Pin and is taking over her late husbands drug business. His connect is forcing her to cover the debt of Cas and she is set to spend the next year working her tail off to right his wrongs. There is a war happening and Ivy is front and center. Cas’ family hates her, she’s also at odds with Nova and still searching for Cali! Everything that could go wrong in this book has gone wrong. I really feel sorry for Nova because he was a legit businessman until he was pulled into the antics of the Bonaparte’s. I really hope his name is cleared because if anyone is truly innocent in the story I believe he is. Cas and Ivy allowed tragedy to tear them apart instead of bring them together and all Nova wanted was to be her peace. If he gets out of this bind he better run for the hills!
I love Tata and Solo! They are the breath of fresh air in this story. Sim and Momo are two peas in their toxic pod they are truly meant for each other. Poor Ayden I was really rooting for him to be reunited with his sisters! I’m impatiently awaiting book 3…. Hurry up DAK! -
NO WAY!!!
OMG this continuation has me shocked and speechless. Very well written, great storyline and character development. There's nothing like a Mother's love and her determination when it comes to her children. We get Ivy at her lowest while trying to push through all while finding a way to get Cali. Secrets are revealed, revenge is at an all time high and those who you thought you can trust get exposed for their dirty deeds. But what I wasn't expecting was that ending revelation with Ethel. There are so many questions that need answers in part 3 cause HOW???? This is a highly recommend read. -
What was I thinking
After I made it through the first three chapters, I should have stopped. The story was about a sick bunch of perverse individuals who preyed on children: drug usage, killings, and depravity that ends with another cliffhanger...What was I thinking? 2.5 stars... -

Adrenaline Read 🚨
This book is hands down one of my favorites of the year !! The journey this author took us on was so different than I’ve ever experienced before. We witness love and tragedy for so many of the characters but not once do you feel like anybody should just give up. This author did an amazing job with balancing the rush of the story and heartfelt moments these characters needed. The ending made my jaw drop I couldn’t believe what I read. I love how the author didn’t play it safe she pressed every line possible breaking these characters down and not giving them the typical easy way out of anything. Job well done a 5 star read I’ll vouch for forever !! -
Dak strikes again
Chile she never disappoints! It's the transformation of Ivy for me!!!! Sis developed into a true definition of Queen Pen! She is determined to find her daughter and anyone is expendable! Even that fine ass Nova can get it!!!!! Ivy ain't playing in these streets but nither are her brother in laws, they can't kill her like she did their brother but they definitely hurting sis pockets and sanity!
Poor Cali is standing tall despite her circumstances, baby sis is definitely her daddy's child and although she going through it, she made me proud because she is fighting to get back to her family and noone is safe!!!!!!

I’m still ADDICTED!!!!
This series is everything and I’m not going to give it up but I will say that I think Nova is taking the wrap for Cas. If it wasn’t for him, Nova wouldn’t have been connected to any of this. I wish Nova would have explained everything to Ivy, I was so routing for them. I hope Ivy get Ronnie’s ass too. Ronnie was too thirsty for me, there’s no way I would have let a man disrespect my whole being and still ride for him I don’t care how much history we have. I hope Ivy gets her flowers after all of this and Cali can overcome the trauma. I can’t believe these sick ass old ladies. If you haven’t read the first book, then you sleep 😴 -

This book keep me on the edge I hope the next installment doesn't take as long. It was lit from the very first page I will admit I had to go back to part 1 and read the ending cause I've read so many books in between. It is am amazing story and I can't wait to read the the book. -

Expect the unexpected
Man listen, I had the honor, privilege, and pleasure of reading an advance copy of the book until the 80% mark. As an ARC reader, I still was not prepared for the ending…like Wdf 😮. With DAK, you have to expect the unexpected. Addicted to Novacane led us to believe that Ivy made the right choice. Overdose on Novacane has us questioning everything we thought was good. It’s mind blowing. You are gonna have so many questions at the end (in a good way tho). You gonna be like wait? Hold up? How? But these people gone because they thought…but really it’s…🤣😂 now what’s gonna happen…I’m ready for #R4rmN
