My best friend Sophie was gorgeous, at times uptight and desperate.

Her biological clock was ticking and after yet another failed relationship she pulled me aside.

"Listen Chase, you know I adore you and you know I need you. Historically, you always come through for me." She swallowed hard while I listened. "It's no secret that I want a baby, the semi old fashioned way."

I nodded not really believing what I was hearing.

"I want you to do it."

"You want my swimmers?"

"Yes, through natural injection."

Sex with my best friend. The best friend I had once upon a time wanted in a bad way.

"Don't worry, I've got this covered," I assured her. She looked relieved and maybe even a little excited.

Seven Days, Six nights, and lots of sex. What more could I want?

Oh right. A way to turn this into forever so I could raise my child too.

S.L. Sterling did a great job on this story, Finding Forever with You had a well written plot, it had many feelings. Chase and Sophie were strong characters that had a strong bond, their friendship was strong. They were made for each other, their chemistry was sexy and sweet. They were great together. I enjoyed their journey. This was a good story. Thank you, S.L. Sterling. Great work :)

Chase and Sophie have been best friends forever. Chase is single and loving life. Sophie is at the end of another failed relationship with a biological clock that is ticking loudly. Deciding she wants a baby sooner rather than later she turns to Chase and asks him to help her out with no strings attached. Shocked as to Sophie's request he clams up and tells her he needs time to think. After thinking things through, Chase agrees to help Sophie. Seven days and six nights together and then going back to acting like nothing has changed. How hard could that be?

Finding Forever with You had me smiling right from page one. The awkwardness at the beginning between Chase and Sophie when she first asked him and then when they began their contract was comical. Sophie seemed a little too insecure in herself considering the strong front that she put on. I love a good best friends to lovers romance. I will be going back and reading the other Malone Brothers books and am sad that this is where their story ends.

This was such a sweet read and exactly what I needed at the time. I really love discovering authors new to me but it's always a gamble. This time I made a great choice. I especially loved that there was no unnecesary drama in the storyline and that Sophie and Chase were best friends. I was also happy to discover it's part of a series so I'll definitely read the previous books.

    Loved it

In so sad to see this series end. Ive loved reading how these brothers find their forever loves but I have a soft spot for Chase. He's funny and sweet and a bit of a corker. His best friend Sophie has always been on his radar, but it takes one drunk phone call from her to set things in motion. And boy do things go from there!!!!

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Finding Forever With You by S.L. Sterling is book 4 of the Malone Brothers series. I had not read the previous books but that didn’t diminish from the material. This was a quick read.

Sophie is a very analytical accountant with a not so stellar dating past. Chase is one of her best friends. Sophie wants to have a baby. It’s never really discussed why she feels so strong about having a baby right now but she does. And instead of using modern medicine she opts for a much less accurate approach and asks Chase to donate his swimmers.

I really wanted to love this book but I did not. This book feels like it was rushed to be finished and the plot sequences weren’t well developed. Sophie It’s difficult to reconcile Sophie who wants to “naturally” have a baby with Sophie who says she’s inexperienced. Her personality changes are almost bipolar. Sometimes the way Sophie refers to Chase in her own head is like they’re not really friends at all. It comes off as hateful and judgmental. Chase has discussed the plan with his brothers but Sophie doesn’t want her friend, who is in on the plan, to know they arrived at a dinner together. Also, why does Chase need to stay at Sophie’s house for a week to make this happen. They live close enough that they regularly ride to events together. The seven days and six nights aspect would make more sense if they went on a vacation. Chase is an attorney who makes Sophie sign an NDA but he’s already told his brothers. I feel like there would be more discussion about expectations or lack thereof.

Chapter 9 to 16 it’s uncertain what day of the week it is supposed to be. Either these professionals don’t actually work or they are on vacation. I would like a more defined timeline in this book. Chapter 16 is Friday but in chapter 9 the girls have a spa day and in chapter 10 the guys have a brunch on Sunday. That’s when Chase goes to Sophie’s to start the week. Chapter 14 Chase wakes to Sophie in the shower which should be Monday but there’s no working just spending the afternoon at the mall looking for Jenna’s birthday present. Jenna wants them to stay out but Sophie has an early morning tomorrow. Chapter 15 Sophie wakes and if no days are skipped it should be Tuesday. But in chapter 16 Chase says they’ve spent the morning in bed until his phone rang and he had to go to the office and just a few paragraphs in Chase says it’s Friday. It’s all very murky and rushed. It’s difficult to follow.

I think I would have enjoyed this book more if the author had taken more time to make the finer points of the story more succinct. S.L. Sterling spends several paragraphs detailing Sophie’s make-up and hair routines but I’m still not sure what kind of accounting office she works in that has hours past 7pm and people in a waiting room.

  • Kari Hansen

Sophie has kissed a lot of frogs and hasn’t yet found her Prince but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to be a mother. She wants to do it the traditional way so she recruits her best friend Chase to do the deed, what could possibly go wrong?

Chase is the perfect combination of sweet and sexy and was content with his single lifestyle. When Sophie asks for his help, he can’t say no but once lines are crossed he begins to wonder what if.

Watching Sophie and Chase maneuver their new relationship was a comedy in errors as being best friends they thinks they know everything about each other but being in an intimate relationship is much different and along the way they may just find out that they have always been more than friends.

I was not sure about this book at first but after reading the first few chapters I though wow! This is a great book and part of the Malone Brothers series, but can be read as a standalone. The storyline was incredibly written and really sets the tone for what is to come. Sophie was sweet and generous but a bit naĂŻve at first and Chase he is such a good soul. Best Friends and well secret crushes and well you are just going to have read this phenomenal story! I HIGHLY recommend this to EVERYONE

Sophie and Chase have been friends for years. With her biological clock ticking she asks Chase to help her have a baby - the old-fashioned way. Being a lawyer Chase can see all the complications that can come out of this. But he can’t say no to her. Plus he’s always had a little crush on her. What starts off as an agreement turns into something more. Will they have the courage to tell each other before their arrangement is over? This was a good friends to lovers book as they deeply care for each other and value the friendship. Another great addition to the series!

What a really cute story. I loved it. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this one was really good. I loved Chase and Sophie together. Their chemistry made the story and it was very well written. It's the first book I've read from this author and cant wait to read more.

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

Finding Forever with You by S.L. Sterling was very unique love story. It was definitely best friends to lovers but in a complicated way.

Sophie wants to be a mother but she is not in a relationship and her relationships have been a failure. So she asks her best friend Chase Malone to help her. Chase was hesitant because he wanted to help her but he was scared to ruin their friendship. But can they keep their feelings away?

I loved Chase. He was put in a spot by his best friend but he wants to be a good friend. His brothers gave him advice to protect himself but he just wanted to help Sophie. It was more difficult as he had feelings for Sophie some time ago but it was not reciprocated by her. He is charming and caring. He tried his best to make Sophie comfortable in the uncomfortable arrangement. He adore her and that's clear from his actions. I am not sure how to feel about Sophie. I think the author wanted to make her a shy and cute person with issues but she came across as a really difficult person. She pushed Chase away when he was trying be sweet. She misinterpreted his actions at every step and overreacted frequently. She tried to make it look like a transaction but got hurt when Chase tried to protect himself. It was really off balance. The whole story felt like Chase is chasing her and she is running without any reason.

I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!

The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

Chase is Sophie’s best friend and when her last relationship falls apart, she asks him to be the father of her child, the old-fashioned way. A week being together in every way. What will happen when Chase wants it to be forever? Fast-paced read with loads of steam. I liked the characters and the story is entertaining. A good read.

    Beautiful

A beautiful short love story that grips your heart. I love the last book in the Malone brothers series. A definite must read series.

    Beautiful Balance
Sophie makes me sigh. She's her own worst enemy, and I can completely relate. She's intelligent, goal-oriented, a stickler for details...and the queen of overthinkers. It's that overthinking part that really trips her up. Regularly. She just really needs to let go a little bit and trust her instincts more. She also needs to quit second-guessing herself. It's making her go in circles and driving her (and those who love her) nearly mad.

Like Chase, for instance. *swoon* Yeah, let's take Chase. Head-swiveling good looks, charm oozing out of every pore, and a purely sweet heart. Except he doesn't do relationships. Well, not the kind women want. But he is Sophie's best friend, and has been for years. Even though she turned him down for anything deeper. He is the complete field player, but he makes sure that anyone who plays with him knows the rules of the game up front. So no harm/no foul, right?

When Sophie realizes her biological clock is ticking down and she's no where near a serious relationship, she decides it's time to give up on love, and go straight for the baby carriage. So naturally your amazingly handsome lifelong friend is the one you call in to help with that, right? Yep, we're all smirking here. We know the score. But it's how they get there that makes this story so amazing, fabulous, fun, and emotional.

The author has done an outstanding job of balancing this story with a good bit of humor, a dash of angst, and a lot of genuine hope, heart, and passion. I love a good rom-com, and at times the banter and playfulness comes across as such. But it never goes over the top into a full blown romantic comedy, which is good, because I believe the sensitivity in this topic called for more balance than that. Really, there's a lot to think about with this storyline, and it could have been shredded if handled wrong. But I feel that it was beautifully done.

Chase and Sophie are an intense and dynamic couple. They have years of history together, yet suddenly feel like strangers. One moment they're old friends bantering about silly stuff, but in the next breath they're walking on eggshells. This is definitely new territory for old friends. But Chase is strong and compassionate, and he doesn't intend to let his best friend down. Especially when he realizes she's so much more than that.

Good, strong characters, passionate intensity, and a wonderfully written story line combine for a read that delights in every way. This book is part of a series featuring the Malone brothers, but rest assured it can be read as a stand-alone.

  • Emily Pennington

Chase and Sophie have that awesome and wonderful best-friends-forever status. Chase, an attorney, is single and enjoying his life, dating but not looking for a long-term relationship. Sophie has not been successful at her dating choices and has yet another failed relationship on her score card. With her biological clock ticking loudly, she needs to have a baby but wants to do it the old-fashioned way.

Giving it some thought, Sophie goes to her best friend who has always been there for her. She asks Chase to help her conceive, up close and personal but with no strings attached. After thinking it over, Chase agrees to Sophie’s plan. But is it even possible to spend seven days and six nights together, create a child (hopefully), and go back to pretending nothing has changed in your friendship? What if he wants to be a part of raising his child and making a real family with his best friend?

This was a crazy fun story, and I intentionally left out the best parts so the reader could enjoy them! The banter and interactions alone make it a worthwhile read! The characters are great together and the reader will be cheering them on after the initial shock wears off. Their comfortable friendship takes a “180” as their relationship moves into another category entirely. You won’t want to miss this one! Grab your copy and see if Chase can convince Sophie that he’s more than just a swimmer-donor and she needs him in her life as much as he needs her.

A story of how you sometimes miss the good thing that is right in front of you. This is book 4 of the Malone Series and it did not disappoint. The history and chemistry between Chase and Sophie is off the page. Getting advice from someone you trust is always a good thing, but remember to also trust your gut.
"If you aren't totally sure, then make sure you do a little soul searching yourself before you enter into anything with her."

    Too Much Profanity

It may sound silly to say, but when I am checking out books at my favorite book review sites, I certainly do judge a book by its cover. This one suggested a sweet contemporary romance. The hero had no thug-ish look about him. I thought the book might have potential from the beginning when I read the first section from the heroine's perspective; it laid out her goals and motivations well. But I was immediately turned off from the book by the first section from the hero's perspective. I just couldn't get over the profanity and his and his brothers’ crudeness. If the F-bomb and the S-word aren't bad enough, this one also used the P-word to describe a part of a woman's anatomy. I hate that word, and every time I see it. It makes my skin crawl. I firmly believe that if an author is going to have this level of profanity in a book that it needs to be mentioned in the book's description so that those of us who want no part of that can find something else to please us better. Honestly, I just could not get past the profanity or the player attitudes of the hero and his brothers—which they still exhibit even if in a relationship. Ugh.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

ARC Review of Finding Forever with You by S.L. Sterling
    * * * * *
A unique and complicated romance blossoms between friends as they aim towards a goal but are given more than they were expecting.

Sophie wants a baby. It's kind of hard to make one by yourself however, and her past relationships have not gone so well. However, she has one idea and that...is Chase.
Chase is willing to help out his friend, but ground rules are made, paperwork is done, and they are in agreement.
They did not however expect for other complicating feelings to arise.
A bunch of drama and steaminess in this read that is to be expected from the man that is part of these delicious brothers.

I have not read the other books yet from this series however I am very much considering diving into the whole thing in my spare time! Poor Sophie just want s to be a mother so badly, if only she could not have landed such flakes. Chase has a great family and I love how they help and support them even in such an odd situation they know could complicate his relationship with Sophie.
I always a trope like things, our darlings really thinking they can only stay friends. Yes, no, honeys...that ain't going to happen!

Chase and Sophie are BFFs, and while he's single having fun mingling, Sophie has another relationship crash & burn, which turns up the volume on her biological clock. This brings her to asking Chase to help her have a baby now since she's not seeing herself finding someone anytime soon, so she needs his help with no strings because she doesn't want to wait any longer. After Chase comes back to her with an answer, they spend 7 days & 6 nights together, but at the end of it, can they go back to their friendship?! This was a great friends to lovers story that made my heart sing even when they were coming up with contracts for it. However, I did get annoyed at Sophie from time to time as she was too uptight even for uptight me, but they were both amazing leads at the end of the day. So, hit those one click buttons to experience it for yourselves as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

What do you say when one of your best friend's takes you out to dinner and asks you for your swimmers so she can get pregnant? Oh and she wants it the natural way? Of course Chase tells Sophie yes, what could go wrong. This is a great book about long time friends who decide to make a baby, it's a great idea, down to the contract so nobody is hurt in the end. It's filled with awkward moments, sweet & tender moments, steamy hot moments and a few tearful moments all in one weeks time while they try to make a baby. I love Chase and how he takes care of Sophie, she's a bit uptight, but rather than try to change her, he appreciates her just the way she is. Their love story is beautiful and you have S.L. Sterling's writing to thank for that.

I received and ARC in return for my honest review.

Best Friends – Forever Lovers! This is about Chase and Sophie. Chase and Sophie are best friends since forever, but now Sophie is going through another break up and she is reaching 30 with no prospects of having a family. She proposes to her best friend Chase to help her out and well he ends up cutting himself while trying to cut the bread… He finally agrees but with the insistence of his brother ends up writing up an NDA to have her sign, she is not too happy about it but goes along with it. Does her plan work where they spend a week together and she ends up pregnant or does he decide he can’t do this because of the fact that she will be walking around with a child that belongs to him? It was an awesome story and I loved the ending. Chase and Sophie finally snap out of it.
